This was a great little house to stay in for out of town work. The train is close but not horrible.
The beds were very comfortable and place was clean.

We stayed only one night, but would love to come back! The neighborhood is undergoing renovations, but this house is very nicely updated. It had everything we needed, and communication with the host was outstanding.

Aragon is an exceptional host and his place is fantastic. It's one of the nicest places I've stayed in. The house is in an older neighborhood that is in a redevelopment phase and Aragon house has been re-done just beautifully. It is better than the pictures portray. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. If you are considering booking, please read his listing and take note that there is an active railway behind the house. They did not bother us at all but I love the sound of trains. All in all, a fabulous experience and we will be back!!! Thanks Aragon!!

We were in town for a campus tour and this location was perfect. It is a very short drive to Texas State, the Square, and the premium outlet mall. Our dog loved the spacious backyard and enjoyed playing outside and spent more time outside at this house than our house! The house is clean and had all the amenities we needed. Aragon was a great host and his communication is on point. He kept us updated on our request to check in early and even offered us the opportunity to drop off our dog and belongings if needed since we were contemplating on making it to a basketball game at the university prior to check in time. If you have any issues or even a simple question about the tv, Aragon does not hesitate to answer you immediately. We definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting San Marcos.

We were visiting San Marcos for a tour of Texas State. The house is a great location - close to the university and downtown. House is spacious, kitchen is well stocked, and the teens loved the snacks provided. Has a great outdoor space as well. Perfect accommodations for our family. This will go our go to place to stay when we return to San Marcos!

Everything about the stay was great! Had plenty of space, games, beds/sheets/pillows/blankets and cookware. Such a quiet neighborhood (aside from the train) which surprisingly didn’t bother us. The river is literally 7minutes away, stores and restaurants were also really close.
Property manager was great with communication, no complaints so we didn’t have to reach out but he did to make sure we were okay.

It was our first family vacation here at San Marcos the property here it’s close to a lot of stores and beautiful views it was really wonderful. This house haves a big porch and we enjoyed staying there and having family moments. We really had a fun and good stay here. Thank you.

We always just grab a hotel - not anymore! This was great for family especially with kids. The backyard & for hole boards kept the kiddos happy (and out of our hair for long periods of time) definitely will be there again

When you enter the home there is a sitting area with one of the sofa beds. Two bedrooms are located at the front of the house with the master bedroom in the back off the living room space. The bed in the master bedroom is sooo comfortable. The kitchen is stocked and has plenty of counter space. There is a very nice deck out back to sit and relax. As the listing mentions there is a train track that runs very close to the back of the house that seemed to pass more than once during the night, but it did not bother us much. The property sits on a dead end street so it is very quiet other than the passing train. We enjoyed our stay and Aragon was easy to work with and promptly responded to all messages. We would definitely book again if ever in the area again.

It is a nice house with some great renovations. It has just enough room for me my husband and our 3 boys for Thanksgiving. We had an amazing time. The owner was awesome always available and answered my messages in a timely fashion. There were board games available and the kitchen was stocked with everything we need. And me and my family will truly go back in the future. And the back yard the covered deck was a great addition for outdoor entertainment.

My friends and I stayed here for halloween weekend and we all enjoyed everyone. The owner is very welcoming and cares about his guests. This location makes everywhere in San Marcos a short drive which makes everything easier. The owner leaves treats for the guests and very thorough instructions to make your stay easier. Super cute and clean home with an amazing backyard. 10/10!

We stay only one night, recomend for short stays if you plan to go to the river. Just 5 minuts away. House was clean and kitchen have everything we nedded. We can hear the train very close by but we were able to sleep well. Not a fancy neighborhood but good to spend the night.
