Cleanliness, well equipped, spacious. Lucy was welcoming but unobtrusive, and we knew she was available should we have any issues (which there weren't)

The hosts, fabulous people. The property gorgeous. Location beautiful

Amazing space; huge living area with comfy lounge; large dining table and kitchen with all you could want. Bedrooms spacious and comfy. Outside area was great with outdoor furniture and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Space for 3 cars. Whole place was decorated to high standard and lots of lovely finishing touches.

The only thing was it was next to a busy-ish road so traffic may bother you a bit if a light sleeper.

This property met beyond my expectations! the photos don’t do it justice. This property is huge! Made my wedding day incredibly special to have somewhere all my bridesmaids could get ready together.

Delighted to have found this property as a short-notice booking. Lucy confirmed the booking quickly along with all the necessary info re: location and check-in and also communicated promptly when we were delayed en route, helping to reduce the stress of a mid-journey windscreen wiper failure! The property has bags of space and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for a group aged from 13 up to 79. The hot-tub was a lovely late-December treat. Would strongly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Country Lodge Retreat was ideally situated for our needs. There is plenty of room for a child to play safely. Lucy provided lots of little touches to make our stay special over Christmas.
