This motel is in a very quiet and safe area, close to national park. Room is clean and comfortable. Wifi works very well. Very large front yard where you can walk around. This motel has good value for price. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay. This is an older property, but there have been some updates. Very clean. Minutes to North Rustico beach. I just wish there was a shelf, or caddy in the shower. That would have made it easier to shower. Everyone was super friendly, would stay again!

The property was nice. Easy access and close enough to main areas like Cavendish. Would probably be great for a family vacation. Only real issue was the walls were thin and the person in the other room snored throughout the night.

Very clean and quiet. Enjoyed the walking trail and the nearby beach was the nicest beach I’ve been to.

Stayed here for two nights. The rooms are well laid out, super clean and have everything you need to use the little kitchenette. Beautiful grounds well kept. Super quiet place. Will return

As mentioned by others, this is an older property. We stayed in the Exclusive Suite which was 2 suites joined by a door. Both bathrooms had been completely renovated recently and were very nice! The rooms were all very clean. We appreciated the blackout curtains for the early hours of sunlight. The kitchen provided us with the basics for doing some of our own cooking. We didn't have time to use the pool but it was well enjoyed by other guests! Only negative was that we didn't feel comfortable using the sofabed (which we had planned on) because it looked fairly old.

We stayed here for 3 nights, on our first trip to PEI. The motel is situated inside a national park, and the views of the ocean, when driving along the road toward Cavendish were spectacular, a great place to watch the sunset or visit a red-sand beach. The motel is about 8km from Cavendish, where there are a number of things to do. We enjoyed Cavendish Boardwalk, checking out the beach, and Anne of Green Gables. The motel itself was quiet, and it was cottage-like once inside, with a nicely updated bathroom, and window air-conditioner. Each unit had it's own dedicated barbecue outside. There was also a nice saltwater, heated pool. There were swings and a small slide for kids, but it would be nice for this to be expanded to a larger play structure so the kids could spend more time playing. Check-in was quick and the owners were helpful in answering questions as needed. The negatives were that there were bugs when we arrived, a couple of cockroaches, earwigs and so on. I suppose this is to be expected when staying in what is basically a cottage. Perhaps it can be improved by sealing up the units to prevent access points. The only other negative was that the beds could be improved, as they were not comfortable. Overall, I think the motel provided good value given the location was outstanding, especially if you are interested in amazing scenery and access to Cavendish. If the 2 negatives were addressed, I would not hesitate to recommend this for a stay in PEI.

It was clean! But old and no place to move!

Did not appreciate that our neighbors were allowed to smoke outside on the deck. Would have prefered a non-smoking property.

Great location; near town (with restaurants, grocery stores),the beach, bike trails & red cliffs of PEI. Heated pool is wonderful. It’s great that there are laundry facilities. They’ve upgraded the floors & bathrooms, however kitchen is decades old, couches, blankets, curtains and mattresses smelled funny. Staff is helpful and responsive. Note that there are no water views: you have to walk about 500m to see the past the trees.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but the place itself was outdated and needs work done to it. It looked overall clean except the floors were dirty and it has a musty smell before opening windows. It was okay for a quick place to stay for a couple of nights if you’re not spending much time at your motel. It’s not the most comfortable place to be but it works for a place to lay your head at night.

They really worked hard to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

The place was a little dated but met all of our needs

St. Lawrence Motel was a great vacation spot. The service was excellent. If staying longer I would book a bigger unit, however it was sufficient for this trip. The only down side was that the ac unit was not working in our cottage. Will definitely go back again.

Management and staff were very friendly and, initially, the room appeared clean. Unfortunately, the room has some type of bug infestation. They were on top of the dresser, on our toothbrush in bathroom, in a bag containing my cosmetics and in the kitchen! They grossed us out and we were glad we were leaving. The bug was about an inch long and black. Also, there were water stains on the ceiling, especially in our bedroom.

It’s a quiet place close to two beaches, 8km waking trail. Walking distance to amazing seafood. Overall a great place to stay

Nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. Anything we needed was provided quickly.

The service was completely non existent. They never answered emails. Never told us where the garbage was located. Never refilled garbage bags. never cleaned our room during our 1 week stay. Never explained where/how to get clean towels. Never explained how to enter the park. The pool is NOT heated, not even remotely. My pool at home isn't heated and is significantly warmer despite being in the shade and at the same longitude. That said, very clean property upon arrival and great location. The walk to the beach is a bit far, especially in the heat.

Loved my stay. Clean, spacious, and comfortable.
