Here's a review for you: --- I recently stayed at this lovely place and had an excellent experience. The accommodations were superb, and the breakfast was delightful. Ella, our host, was lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. My baby absolutely adored her! Highly recommended.

I had a very lovely stay in this accommodation and can very warmly recommend it. The host Ella is such a heartily, sweet and helpful person (thanks again for the yummy sea food restaurant that was recommended!) and the house is charming and in a very calm and beautiful environment close to a lake. The ferry is further down the street and the old town of Tadoussac is only a stone throw away. Every one of the clean and well kept room has an own parking space on the premises. And last but not least: the breakfast was very yummy and home made. Wish I would have stayed more than one night!

We loved this charming auberge. The check in was welcoming, and we appreciated a well cooked breakfast and Hela’s friendliness and enthusiasm. The room was great, and we’d recommend a stay here.

Lovely welcome, we were given a tour of the facilities and lots of information about how to get into the centre of the town (5 to 10 minute walk) and locations of cafes, restaurants and the boulangerie etc. The room was small but clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed, with a lovely view over the lake area at the back and forest with trees resplendent in their autumn colours. The room has a fridge and there is a microwave and coffee machine available downstairs. Also a nice looking dining area - we hadn't realised breakfast was available and had brought our own. One parking space per room. The auberge is less than a minute's drive or a short stroll to the free Saint Catherine's ferry, we used it as both foot passengers and with the car, great service. Tadoussac itself is just beautiful, we didn't want to leave! The hotel owners are genuinely nice people, nothing is too much trouble and they are all about their guests. Highly recommend and thank you for a lovely stay.

Charming little place, very well kept and the staff was so friendly! English was not a problem.

Convenient location, average condition. Had basement room, noise from upstairs transferred easily and sink has low water but pressure for shower good. Good size room tho. Upstairs common / sitting area only sits 2 so limited options outside room. Promotes itself as B&B but breakfast is charged out at 12$ a plate and they like you to order the night before. It is a fixed menue so no options for light breakfast.

The inn overlooks a beautiful and swimmable lake, very refreshing!

Maison Gagné enjoys a great location with walking distance to heart of town. Energetic and very friendly manager (Ella). Nice breakfast area with easy to choose options served rapidly and copiously. Very clean also.

We paid $179/night without breakfast. The sheets were black, the blinds were bent, the curtain rods were bent and one of the double doors was caulked shut. The bathtub and sink were in the bedroom.

Shared knowledge of dining options - great location - within walking distance of all restaurants and tourist sites Quiet even though there were no vacancies Made every effort to be of assistance. Good breakfast not special but good value for the cost. I would have liked access to a tea/coffee caddy/stand in the shared dining room to be available from noon to 9:00 p.m. daily.

We loved our stay. The auberges is beautiful and well placed, nearby Tadoussac downtown. The personal is very welcoming and helpful. I recommend it.

Beautiful view of the Tadoussac River close to the ferry excellent widows to stop the noise from outside, beautiful back yard with chairs and a lake!!

Ella, her husband and the team welcomed us and our 8-month old baby (Amaury) with open arms - we absolutely loved our stay. The rooms were clean, the optional breakfast was absolutely worth it and the atmosphere was super positive. Thanks a lot to Ella (and team) for your hospitality and your positive attitude - never change.

The owner and the staff are very nice and welcoming. The property is very clean, the auberge is on a lake, you can swim and do kayak if you have your own. I highly recommend this place and it has a best value

We really loved our stay here. I can't say enough about how kind Ella and the staff were. The room was clean and comfortable. Located a short walk to restaurants, shops, and of course the breathtaking shoreline. AML cruises have a shuttle practically across the road to get you to and from a whale excursion on the river. Last but certainly not least, Best. Breakfast. Ever. We hope to see you again. From "the sweet couple in room 5" :)

Good location in Tadoussac. Small issue that we had is that there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night. Further no complaints.

It was excellent, beautiful, clean ,best value for money you can find I believe myself. But if you don't speak French make sure you know what your booking ,they dont say in English Basement Room they say it in French so be aware of that when booking ,its still amazing un-suite

Unique building and decor only added to the breathtaking grounds and scenery. Dinner was fabulous and not to be missed while staying there.

This is a very quaint B&B where the owners make you feel very comfortable & special. The location is very convenient for walking to restaurants, cafes & whale watching. Very close to the free ferry as well. Add breakfast it is delicious!

If you value your health, don't choose this property. The chemicals they use for cleaning are dangerous, especially if you are sensitive to toxic smells
