Everyrhing exceeded my expectations...

Arduthie house stole our hearts. Our room had a magnificent view on the sea right over the rooftops. Sunrise in the morning was beautiful. Rich breakfast in a cozy room. The hosts are kind and welcoming. It was a pity to have only one day to spend there in Stonehaven…

We thought that it was very comfortable and clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious - between the two of us over two days we had all the options and they were all very good! Excellent location in Stonehaven and we had a brilliant view.

Excellent location in the center of Stonehaven. Free parking in the street. Excellent full breakfast cooked to order. The very friendly and helpful owners gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The room has a modern toilet/shower. Nice view from the room over the town and the ocean. A large comfortable lounge is available for guests. Tables in the garden are available.

Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh. I would really recommend the vegetarian breakfast as well as the creamy porridge. The location close to sea and town square was excellent. It was also perfect for us as we were visiting my mum's brother in the next street. Owners could not have been more friendly or helpful especially on check in where they went the extra mile to let us drop off our luggage early when we caught an earlier train than expected. Would definitely come back.

This Arduthie House is so central in Stonehaven. Literally a stones throw from the centre. The room was fantastic, comfy beds, great room, very nice ensuite, fantastic breakfast , very helpful and friendly owners if this great place. The dining room as with all other rooms were beautifully decorated, as were all other rooms throughout the house. Very comfy and relaxing.A great stay here. I would highly recommend this place to other travellers.

We loved everything. Our room was so cozy and lovely and the house itself is gorgeous. The gardens are stunning and full of so many flowers. Breakfast was delicious. The house is perfectly located....we walked to dinner and a pub along the harbor in 10 minutes and the house is a 4 minute drive to the beautiful Donnotar Castle. Our hosts were so welcoming and kind and gracious. Cant wait to be back

Ideal accommodation for a stay in Stonehaven. Clean and comfortable hotel with warm and welcoming hosts. Really enjoyed our four day stay over the New Year period.

The room was a bit cold. Pleased brought hot water bottles to initially heatf us up.

A lovely welcome and this continued throughout my stay. Room excellent and a good choice for breakfast. Location was also good for me near the town centre. I will be returning next November and will definitely be booking to stay there again.

The house is beautiful and very spacious yet cozy at the same time. Room and bathroom were very neat and clean, and the lounge area on the first floor landing was spacious and cozy with a fireplace and chess table. View from room was of the street and ocean further back and the glimpse of the Christmas tree in the main street was also very nice. Rod and Leslie are excellent hosts and we had such a pleasant time talking to them and they gave us really good recommendations for dinner. We both had Scottish breakfast and it was the best breakfast I’ve had in quite a while! I want to return to Stonehaven just so we can stay here again. Definitely recommend.
