Eine Auswahl an DVDs, Spielen und vielen Büchern über York - seine Geschichte und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten - sowie Breitband-Internetzugang stehen zur Verfügung.
In der voll ausgestatteten Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie zum Wohlfühlen benötigen, darunter einen Geschirrspüler, einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, eine Waschmaschine mit Trockner, eine Mikrowelle, einen Kaffeebereiter und eine Kaffeemaschine

In jedem Zimmer gibt es elektrische Heizungen und einen elektrischen Eintauchtank für heißes Wasser.
Alle Yorker Museen (Railway, Castle, Yorkshire und Chocolate - Yorks süße Geschichte) sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt, ebenso wie zwei Kinos, beide Theater und der Konzertort Barbican. Die York Racecourse erreichen Sie ebenfalls bequem zu Fuß.

When I stay in a hotel or rental accommodation, the most important two things to me are 1) comfortable bed, and 2) that everything should be clean. This flat scores full marks in both areas. The bed was more comfortable than mine at home. The flat is situtated in a good area, away from the main tourist/nightlife hotspots and close to amentities like restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. It’s very close to the River Ouse and the paths on both sides of the river which are really popular for walks. It’s not a large flat but it’s big enough, certainly if you have younger kids. The kitchen is well equipped and has a table which can double as a desk if you need to work. The flat is nicely decorated and feels homely. No problem with parking, even with a large estate car, and it’s secured by a gate with electronic access. You need a code and two keys to get into the flat so it feels safe too, but that shouldn’t be a problem in York. The shower is part of the bath and it has plenty of heat and power. Getting out might be tricky if you are older or have restricted movement. The only negatives were some neighbour noise, mainly from upstairs footsteps, and sofas which are a bit ‘tired’. The noise wasn’t antisocial as such, no loud music or shouting, and it was not a problems late at night or early morning. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, communication was excellent and helpful and the instructions were comprehensive and clear.

Perfect place to stay with the family for a city break in York. Was great being so close to everything, and the flat was well appointed and had everything we needed.

My wife, our two daughters (4 & 6) and I were looking for somewhere simple, centrally located for three nights seeing local friends and the sights. Debbie’s apartment was absolutely ideal. A short walk from everything you’d want to see downtown, a short, easy drive from grocery stores (inc a Waitrose) with secure guaranteed parking. Our daughters were cosy and comfy in the twin room, my wife and I slept wonderfully on the king bed, and there’s space to pack all our stuff away. We cooked when we needed to, but there are amazing spots for breakfast (Partisan!), coffee and dinner nearby.
I really can’t think of how the place could have served our needs better, just a perfect place to feel comfortable and at home while being able easily to see and experience all York/N Yorks has to offer.

The apartment was excellent vaue, clean comfortable and warm. Lots of local information and even a nice stash of board games and dvds too. Great communication from the property owner.
The location was absolutely brilliant with the added bonus of being in a secure courtyard with its own parking space.
A ten minute walk to the city centre made this an ideal choice for our city break and if we decide to retur to York we would definitely book the apartment again.

Lovely clean, comfortable, warm and well maintained apartment close to the centre of York, ideal for our needs visiting the Christmas Market this weekend. Perfect for myself with limited mobility being able to have secure onsite car parking. Flat is on the first floor for anyone with similar issues. Very quiet area, no disturbances but close to lots of lovely places to eat out. Debbie the host, is easily contactable and provided all relevant information, great communication. Would definitely go back.

This is a wonderful apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean, updated, and modern. Felt very cozy. There is a grocery store 2 minutes away around the corner. The location is great with all the fun sights of York just a short walk away.
We took a day trip to Thirsk for the James Herriot "All Creatures Great and Small" museum. I would highly recommend it.

Well appointed flat and the host was really helpful with suggestions of where to eat etc as well as clear directions to help us find the place.
The location was amazing being inside the city walls only a few minutes walk to all the attractions.
Being a first floor flat, there's stairs (no lift but we knew that) up to the entrance. One masdive matter bedroom and one small twin room. There were four adults in our group and it was a good size for us.
The bathroom is internal and can take some time to clear with the wee fan in the ceiling going most of the time after showers or baths.
The living room is a reasonable size and can seat 6.
It was really hot when we there so we were glad of the fan provided. The kitchen had a table that could expand our contact to fit the purpose. We used this for meals and Games.
The kitchen has everything you could want in it.
My sons only negative was that the wifi started out ok but by the end of three days it had slowed down a lot.
Over all this was a great flat in a good location and we really enjoyed our stay

I was extremely happy with the location as it really is a 5 minute walk and your in the town ! The apartment was clean and well equipment with everything you need for your stay. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and loved the power shower !
Debbie gave us really good clear and accurate information about everything from directions to key codes etc.The car parking was nice and secure and close to the entrance of the building .I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Debbie for your help and fantastic communication 😊

Flat was clean and as advertised. Great location easy to walk anywhere you wanted. However the lobby of the flat smells like some smoked a pack a day for the last several years. I assume this is outside the control of the host but I can not believe this was not mentioned on other posts. There were even signs posted stating to keep windows in stair wells open to help with cigarette smell. It was warm so we had windows open and every afternoon we had to close them because other tenants were smoking outside our window in the garden. If smoking does not bother you this is a great flat in York.

My wife and I stayed four nights in early June at the York apartment. The spacious apartment comes with all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. It’s within the city walls, so it’s a 10- to 15-minute walk to any of the city’s attractions. It also has a parking space for a car making it easy to explore sites outside of York. The owner of the property always responded quickly to our questions. We highly recommend this property to stay at while in York.

Lovely place to stay, the location is fab meaning that once we arrived, we didn't need to move the car for the duration of our stay. A short walk over the bridge and you're in the city centre. The apartment was very well equipped and everywhere was clean.
WiFi worked well but only terrestrial TV as Netflix etc wouldn't load on the TV. Not a huge problem for us as we didn't travel across the county to watch telly!

Highly recommend! This is the best experience we have had with VRBO. The property was very well decorated (including holiday decorations), furnished (comfortable beds and sofas, even end tables and kitchen table), outfitted (fully equipped kitchen) and located. Great value. Debbie could not have been more communicative, organized, clear, and accomodating. The information about the area was as good as any concierge. We wish we had spent more time.

We thought this was one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed in. The location is superb being only a few minutes walk from the centre of York. There are places to eat and buy food on the doorstep, and a lot of old and interesting historical features en route to the centre as you walk into town.
The flat was very clean and comfortable and has absolutely everything you need for a holiday break. Having a parking space is a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and we found the sitting room very comfortable. It was also very quiet at night for somewhere so central. The instructions given for check in were very helpful and ensured everything went smoothly.. Having just returned we plan to book another stay for next year straight away.

This lovely apartment had everything we needed for a short break in York. It is just a few minutes walk from the city centre with all the amenities nearby. The road it is on is quiet, an the apartment has it's own parking bay. The only downside is that it's surrounded by other apartment blocks so is quite overlooked. Nevertheless it makes a perfect base from which to explore York.

Fantastic accommodation really only let down were I had to empty the vacuum and then do the rug in the living room, poor WiFi connection and the previous occupants had not put the dishwasher on.

This property exceeded our expectations. It is well kept and had everything a family needs for a comfortable stay in York. The kitchen had everything including a washer/dryer which was very useful with two young boys! The bathroom is spotless with a great, easy to use shower. The living area is very comfortable and even had a fan which in the recent extreme heat was pure bliss. Finally, the location was perfect. It's within walking distance of the centre of York and being a gated apartment block it felt quite secure. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
