We had a great stay, hosts were very accommodating and helpful! The property is great and has so much to do including a pool and snooker table. The character of the property is great and takes you back in time.

Only minor comment was the spare beds were a little uncomfortable, but wasn't too much of an issue for 2 nights. Bathroom on the top floor was not practical, there was no stand for the shower.

I love the views, the house itself, the pool and hot tub, every room was beautiful.

The ants in the kitchen The property needed a deep clean and mops dustpans and broom so we could clean up spills in kitchen with cooking and general maintenance while staying.

The location, size of house and garden were absolutely perfect for us. We made good use of the swimming pool, and all of the rooms in the house. We had great weather so also used the patio area a lot.

The fridge and freezer smelt awful so needed a good clean, and the patio needed sweeping as it was full of beer bottle tops and cigarette butts so we cleaned it ourselves. The hot tub was too hot, but the owner responded straight away when I contacted him.

We loved the laid back, relaxed nature of the hosts. They instructed us that the only rule was - to have fun! The house was very warm and offered an unforgettable experience! Beds were SO comfortable - we all slept like logs! The rooms were huge and well laid out too - The house is 10/10!

The only thing we could mention is that the pool / hot tub, albeit heated, was always chilly. We asked Tony if the temp could be raised and he assured us it was 30c - sadly our goosebumps say different lol but we still jumped in and had fun regardless!

Pool table poor condition and only 1 cue. Generally a little tired and dated but clean.

The place is great, there was 10 of us who stayed and it had everything we needed. Ron the house keeper was amazing too.

Make sure that you organise taxis or travel in a car to the location.
