It was clean. The decor was modern. The shower & bathroom were good. Security was good and we felt safe. The hosts were very helpful & amenable (told us to see them if there was any problem)

Accessing the property parking was extremely tricky. You have to back in up a short drive, & the camber meant we scraped the bottom of the car every time. A car with low suspension would really struggle. The road up to the property is also very steep & might be tricky in icy conditions. We also had to turn around further up the street to get out. There was no dishwasher or microwave (we have a holiday let & I think these are now essential). Kitchen towels would also be useful. The crockery & glassware also felt it was just bits & pieces (uniform sets would be better). The mugs were also not the cleanest. The mattress on the bed was a bit thin & not very comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable, perfect for a short break away. Good clear instructions and friendly hosts who live close by for any needs or enquiries.

A microwave is the only thing not on site which would be useful but everything else is included if you wanted to do full self catering.

The location was perfect for us as we could walk to The Ship at Brimscombe for an event we were attending. The property is finished to a very high standard and has a lovely outlook across the valley.

I hope the parking may be improved in due course. We managed with the helpful pre-trip information and a medium sized car. It would have been more difficult if we had used our estate car.

Perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very helpful.

The only issue we had was the bed wasn't the comfiest and my husband is 6ft so his feet were hanging off the end. But that's not your fault!

We liked everything, it was pretty much everything we wanted! I think a rug in the living area would take it to the stars but I'm being really picky, it was a fab place!

Lovely hosts. Clean, comfortable and modern apartment with everything we needed for our stay. An easy 1 mile walk or drive to Stroud town centre, 5 minutes over the road to Stroud brewery and taproom where we visited. Really clear and useful directions provided in advance.

Lovely modern, clean, private apartment. Free on site parking (albeit a bit tricky). Hosts live in house next door, but friendly welcome and not intrusive.

Minor points: more visible signage for apartment and parking (it was dark winter evening so visibility wasn't great) would be helpful; no anti-slip shower mat, and a soap pump instead of used soap bar would be more hygienic.

Fantastic location and very quiet, just what we wanted for New Year's Eve. It was well appointed and dog friendly. The bonus was a porch enabling wet paws to be dried off before entering the property and somewhere for wet coats and wellies to be kept. Jo and David were fantastic hosts who responded quickly to messages. We would definitely recommend this place as a base to explore the local area. We will definitely stay again.

The parking outside the property having to reverse onto the driveway was a nightmare. It was hard to reverse onto scrapped the bumper on our car trying to get on

Beautiful location, owners were friendly and very helpful, they made both myself and my dogs very welcome. Apartment was very well appointed with all the facilities needed. The shower was hot and water pressure excellent. I had a great night’s sleep and would certainly return if I go back tho this area.

Well appointed flat , excellent notes for operational needs. I really appreciated the coffee , biscuits, salt etc. Thoroughly recommend this apartment.
