What a beautiful, secluded and genuinely restful place, tucked away in a warm and friendly market town. The cottage is clean, comfortable, cosy and very quickly feels like home. Needs have been carefully thought about and provided for.The charming garden provides private space to sit outside. Clear and timely directions to the cottage (10 minutes walk from the railway station) were given and from that point on you felt there was kind and generous help and support if you needed it from the warm and friendly hosts.

The location was great, close to sight seeing, shopping, rental bikes and the train station was close by. Enjoyed just walking around the neighborhood and exploring the surrounding area on bikes! A very relaxing stay, would of loved to stay longer! The hosts were friendly and accommodating!

in the centre of Gouda but secluded, absolutely delightful, lovely friendly personal welcome, great local advice and good communication before arriving, we did not want to leave, ate supper and breakfast under the charming apple tree

it was perfect , our only sadness was leaving it to cycle to Europort

A beautiful peaceful place to stay in Gouda yet very central and easy to get to places. Jos couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

Location was good close to marketplace, shops,supermarket,restaurants. Property was nicely decorated, good modern kitchen with all appliances you need. Bed was comfortable, good shower in the bathroom. Charming courtyard garden outside with seating and peaceful space to relax in with nature all around. The great thing about staying in Apple Tree Cottage is the hosts who are simply brilliant. Highly recommended.

Jos & Maarlen were great host! The location is perfect, from Gouda you can move easily by train to Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc. The place is also great, very clean, very quiet and you can park pretty close from the house. We will definitely come back!

Very cozy little house. The beautiful garden is natural and varied. It's like being in the middle of the countryside, but actually you are a 5 min walk from the center of historic Gouda. The entrance is on a lovely peaceful canal lined with typical Dutch houses. The cottage is cozy, warm and peaceful, well equipped clean and well looked after.

The location is perfect, in one of the most beautiful streets in the center of Gouda. Owners are very hospitable and friendly, and helped us to make our stay even better. Communication also went very smooth. All in all, a loverly venue, highly recommended.

Very confortable cottage in the middle of the city oof Gouda. Full kitchen and Netflix are perfect, mostly on Covid period. The owner is really nice. We highly recommend it!

Lovely quiet place in the middle of the city centre. We stayed with our newborn and it was very easy to walk back from the city centre to change and feed her. Just a couple minutes walk. Spacious cottage to stay in, quiet, clean and modern.
