Right on the waterfront, classic chalet, hospitality in best of European classical traditions. Staff dressed in German folk fashion. Very nice jr suite, recently updated, overlooking the lake. Rich breakfast, diverse fare in the main restaurant. Proximity to the harbor. Free parking.

We liked everything.

Everything was amazing: breakfast, spa, pool, jacuzzi, well-equipped gym, big room with a lake view. And the bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to leave it.

No complaints at all. Maybe a bit expensive price, but it was worth it.

In a lovely place, near a lake, there is a sweet hotel, with a smiling staff If you are lucky enough to get there, ask for a room facing the lake. Enjoy

The room did not meet our expectations from a 4* hotel. It was a little cold in the room ( it was -10 ° out) old radiator, small tv...

We were very well received and the reception managed to get our room ready early. The room was big and the bed was good. Breakfast was nice and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Liked the free parking

The whole hotel was kind of redone. But so many things were left being old and just got a slight facelift. The location is great but the house itself needs to be refurbished to compete with other ones in this categorie.

Reception was a good experience. Although we were early for check-in our room was ready. Breakfast was more then was imagined. Refilling was very fast. Eggs to order no problem. Grounds are very clean and manicured. No shortage of staff like many other hotels are experiencing .

I cannot thing of any item that could be improved under circumstances location and ground available.

The room was spacious and of excellent quality. The staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was disappointing. We didn't bother to eat the second morning.

Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and also had gluten free options. There was plenty of space too with the Blue restaurant utilised if it was busy in the main restaurant. Location was lovely with a great situation on the lake.

Lack of air conditioning on the rooms - the room was very warm at night, even with the window open. Room we had was quite noisy as it was located directly above the entrance to the hotel (non lake side) and this also meant some "traffic" noise with early morning deliveries.

The tranquillity of the lake and grounds was very relaxing. The staff were warm, friendly & helpful especially when l spoke English only. The blu restaurant was so delicious that l ate there every evening.

Room was too hot and l couldn't hardly sleep. l understand it's usually not hot but please just put a small fan in your rooms.

Dinner service was terrible - we were initially refused access because it was 20;30, then told we could only eat inside despite there being several tables available on the terrace. We overheard other diners complaining about the same offending waiter, who apparently had also tried to refuse them access to the restaurant. The food service was 'confused' with three different entrees being delivered before the correct ordered dinner was presented. The food (fish) was tasteless and tough. When the bill was asked for the waiter failed to present a bill but recapped what we had ordered and 'eaten' to include a salad priced at euro17, we advised that salad was neither ordered nor eaten and had been returned. The written bill was never presented but an agreed amount based on trust was agreed. When we checked out the offending salad had been added to the bill - the hotel did remove the cost after debate and supervisor review

Great location for those who love walking. The hotel is located near the pier from which the ship goes to the island to the castle. Great restaurant, friendly staff. The room was even better than expected. Free parking.

Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the room, as in most hotels, is not the best. But it didn't stop us from good sleeping.

Not enough information given at the Reception right off. You have to run around and ask many questions to understand fully. Most receptionists did not speak German or English that well. Room has no mini-bar, coffee Maschine or water. Sink in the bathroom did not work properly. Low quality bathroom amenities. You have to reserve a table at the restaurant otherwise they don’t have enough seat capacity for the hotel guests and of course this information was not given at the check-in. Although, very clearly there were empty tables available pretty much all evening. Seemed like poor planning and communication. You can spend time at the lake but if you want a drink it’s self service and there is no water sport offers and of course again this information is not given to you at the check-in….Overall the location and the potential of the Hotel is immense however clearly the management is not competent enough to realize this potential. And certainly is not worth the price per night. Not too bad overall however certainly very disappointing stay. Not to recommend further.

easy check-in, very friendly staff; I forgot my pants in the hotel they mailed it back the next day AFTER I called them. Why did they not call me I asked as I was all day in the neighbourhood and could have come over and picked it up.... well, they told me they want to give the guest the most privacy possible, so they don't contact you and wait till they are contacted....

The house, the rooms... basically everything needs a renovation. It's such a pretty location, but in the end of the day you end up in a run-down hotel from the early 80ies. sorry, but the building is just a no-go.... and at the check-out, the lady could not get the computer to book a single euro from my credit card (and no, I do not have euros as I do not come from the euro-zone). It took her over 15 minutes, until we gave up on it.
