Nice hotel in a great location overlooking the harbour. Comfortable room had everything we needed. Helpful and friendly staff even helped carry bags up to our room (old building so no lift ☹️) No parking at the hotel but a loading zone next door meant bags could be unloaded for check in. Parking was located a short drive away and wasn’t expensive. Enjoyed our stay here.

We bought breakfast for one day and at 18€ we thought it was very expensive for what was on offer. Had much better cheaper elsewhere.

The location on the harbourside was fantastic. The hotel was really well decorated. With no lift we got exercise up and down to our third floor room, but had an excellent view. Tubed was very comfortable, we enjoyed having a little balcony, the shower had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

during the day when it's hot outside it can be a little stuffy; we lived at the very top, there was no elevator, for someone this may be a problem

The hotel is beautifully situated on the boulevard (currently under renovation), 5 minutes from the old town. Comfortable room, comfortable beds, helpful staff (I arrived late, after closing the reception - after arranging everything with the reception, the keys were "waiting" in a locker).

Unfortunately it was very loud due to work on the street and the harbour early in the morning. But this should be done soon. Staff smoking in front of the hotel with smoke coming up in the open window.

The hotel is perfectly located right on the seaside. our top floor studio has an amazing view to both old town and sea. Very cozy, clean and quiet place

Lack of kettle or place for making tea, coffe anytime.

Ive read the reviews before talking about rooms being small and noice from the bar below. The room is not super spacious but still has a sofa, table and two chairs. We heard no noices from outside even though there was a party one night.

There is no mini fridge in the room which would have been nice to have.

Bed was bad, the toilet was not working, i was asked to move to another room and then move again because the room was booked. It was a horrible experience. I mentioned before that is my anniversary but still it was ridiculous service by the hotel. The lady was little bit understanding but the guy on the counter was not cooperative. I asked for the balcony room but i got at the end a non balcony room. Size of the room was smaller then expected and according to the cost, i saw near by hotels and i felt i made a bad decision choosing this hotel.

Location is perfect. One side facing the sea. Staff are friendly. Room is very clean.

A bit small.

We stayed in the "Superior Double Room" with the sea view, which also has a huge balcony. It was an amazing experience for us. The hotel is located close to the harbor and Ozeaneum and lots of different restaurants. The room was clean and well furnished. We definitely will stay here again next time.

The view from our room was strictly wonderful. During the day we heard the sounds of the port and the chatter of passers-by, but at night with the well-made windows closed, there was no noise at all. Our room was relatively small but was well equipped and tastefully furnished and decorated with a nautical theme. Parking at the hotel was easy (best to arrive early), and in any case the Hiddenseer Hotel is a short walk from any place in the Altstadt. Checking in and out was easy and friendly.

People with mobility constraints should be aware that there is no lift/elevator. Rooms are not equipped with hot water kettles, coffee makers or minibars/refrigerators.

It was standard breakfast, for relatively high price. For that price I would expect freshly pressed juice. Fresh milk options to the coffee OR out-milk options. American pancakes and fresh fruits (not conserved).
