The apartment was great, it had everything even a washing machine with detergent. Yannis was so kind to show us everything, he even had some wine and fruits in the fridge waiting for us. Exceptional service! During check-out Yannis even gave some parting souvenirs of Rethymo.

Amazing location firstly! In the center of the old town, right next to the boulevard. Yannis was very helpful with recommendations and made sure that we had a parking spot in the nearest parking place. The room (junior suite with garden view) was lovely, authentic and very spacious. The bed was comfortable and big too, which is not always a given in Crete. Yannis welcomed us with local wine, fresh fruit and cold water, which was very amazing after a long day of traveling! We were able to store our bags after check out and Yannis even gave us some souvenirs to take home. Wonderful place, great hospitality and amazing value for money. 10/10 would recommend and return :) thank you Yannis!

This was one of the best stays I ever had. The friendly host is extremely generous. We were given ample fruit, water, juices and a bottle of sparkling wine. The space was very spacious and clean. Everything you could possibly need is available. The washing machine even has a dryer function. But you can also choose to use the drying rack. There's a nice view on a cozy and quiet square from the balcony. Sights, shops, restaurants and beach are all within walking distance. Communication was excellent, informative and humorous.

There is many local restaurants nearby, you can get amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner. Whatever you like is 100-200 meters from Afroditi

Absolutely everything !!! Excellent value for a quality, classy, comfortable and clean spacious apartment. The host was very welcoming and generous. He gave us a bottle of vino, fresh fruit, juice and water- all complimentary. The apartment is a wow factor for location, indoor and outdoor space, facilities like washing machine, small kitchen etc. Expect a bit of street noise at night, as in every town centre but not excessive. The plates and glasses are above your average standard provided in other apartments. Bed and pillows were high standard. All in all a fantastic stay. Extremely good value. Get in quick though as this is a gem of a place.👍 Thank you.

The property and everything about it is excellent - location, staff, etc. The owner is kind and attentive, but not intrusive. We plan to return, and we noted that there were other guests who return regularly. An very good indicator of the quality of the experience.

Everything. Host (Yannis) was exceptional, location was spot on, there were fruits in the fridge, water, a bottle of red and to make things better these would be topped up every day. On our departure he also gave us a small gift, absolutely fantastic hospitality.

This is by far the best stay I’ve ever had throughout my entire vacation. Situated right in the busy city of Rethymno Town, it has always been my dream to stay in the place where I get to see people and the shop lots through the verandah of my room and this place made it came true for me. Owner was super duper nice. All the facilities in the room was complete and how everything worked astonish me. I have no words to describe how comfortable the bathroom is. It felt like I was at home 🤍 Owner accommodate us with everything and even gave as small gifts before we departed. I will definitely come here again !!

The hotel is located right in the historical center of the city with immediate access to shops and a 2 minute walk from the waterfront. It is off the main street in a small calm street which is nice to be away from the noise and activity during the summer when it is very busy at night. The host Giannis went above and beyond to make it an exceptional stay. We arrived a bit later than expected and he personally walked with us to show us a good place to find some dinner since it was a bit late and we had no idea where to go. He also helped us to deal with some parking issues and even went to the parking lot to help sort things out which was incredibly generous of him. He even walked us back to our car when our stay ended and gave a few small gifts to our baby. A truly gracious host! The rooms are very large, very clean and Giannis even left some fresh fruit and water for us. Nothing bad to say about the hotel or the host, will definitely stay here again if we are in Rethymnon.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but just a small warning that the historical center where the hotel is located does not allow cars. There is a parking lot a few minutes walk away, but sometimes at night it will be full during peak dinner hours.

The staff are amazing, nothing is too much time or effort for them. The apartments are excellent located. Very clean. Very comprehensive kitchen, and fab layout.

Yannis one of the best hosts I ever met in my trips. Such a kind, helpful and polite person. The position is top, pedestrian area of the very nice Rethymno. The room absolutely comfortable and clean. Really you feel like at home. Nice furniture and bath. The small bed upstairs so nice! We got many presents from Yannis, starting from fruits juice and wine! Absolutely we will come back!

Wonderful place and the very nice host Yannis! Everything was perfect from the very beginning till the last minute. Yannis helps us with transfer, met and gave a fantastic two-floor room with extra bed upstairs. In the fridge we found a few bottles of vine, water and fruits, moreover, after a couple of days they placed some grape there. The location of the hotel also great - in the heart of Rethimno, surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants, not far from the fortress and beach. Yannis also provide the umbrellas and towels for the beach. It's a small library at the hotel where I found a very interesting book - thanks for that too! And at the end - as a cherry on the cake - we receive some local souvenirs from the host. In total, we spend fantastic time in Crete, many thanks!!!

The host hospitality was second to none . The location was the best one could choose . Beautiful alleyway leading to the entrance. The communication before hand was very helpful and useful . The apartment was brilliant. Fit for Royalty . Mr Yannis is a living Saint. He provided drinking water and lots of fruits to welcome us. Even wine . Also he gave us a map of town and his suggestions of restaurants and historical places to visit. Took care of the parking and many more . Can't thank him enough for everything he did for us .

Wish I had more time to stay there . Definitely will return again .

The room was very big and cosy. The table was set, in the fridge was cold water and fruits for us as a present from the owner. No noise from outside and very central! The owner is very welcoming, friendly, helpful. When we will return to Rethymno we will definitely book here again!

Fantastic apartment in Rethymno Old Town. Very well equipped, with every single thing you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Two smart TVs, two bathrooms including an en-suite, Iron and Ironing Board, Cooker, Oven, kettle, sandwich toaster, coffee machine, good quality utensils (everything is high end here), large sofa, dining table, lots of storage space (all with in built lighting) spacious bedroom, very comfortable bed. There are even two pairs of brand new (in wrapping) slippers waiting for you. We were pleasantly surprised to find the fridge full of beer, water, asti, and a very large bowl of fruit including a pineapple, all provided as freebies by the host and owner 'Yannis'.The balcony is very spacious and gives great views over an adjacent square, used by local families, which makes for great viewing as they walk their pets, play with their kids and relax. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The two bathrooms are very well equipped with high end tiling throughout. The main bathroom has a large multi function shower which is brilliant. I can't speak have highly enough about the host 'Yannis' who clearly puts every thought into making your stay special. He met us on our way and escorted us to the property helping to carry our luggage. He gave us discount vouchers for local tavernas and maps of the area. This apartment is FABULOUS and Yannis clearly works very hard to keep it in incredible condition. Come here to Afroditi you will be highly impressed. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND - 10/10. We had a great stay. The apartment was well kept and clean. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Great balcony. All necessities were taken care of. The square the apartment is located at is very lively at nights. As light sleepers we were happy to have brought our earplugs :)

Yannis is an incredible host, so kind and helpful. He gave us great pieces of advice to make the very best of our stay. Thank you so much for making this stay unforgettable

I didn't expect this level of comfort, equipment and facilities considering the price. The interior was just posh, I've even in doubt whether it was a mistake or some sort of prank. Location is amazing, the apartment is situated in the heart of the old town of Rethymno in 2 minutes on feet to seafront and night life.

It is hard to come up with any negative about this accomodation. My experience was impeccable. If I need to nitpick, I would note that this apartment does not have a proper window with a view as it faces some kind of backyard from where you can see only piece of sky. Also the emergency exit lighting pane was too bright in the night.
