Perfect Location, lovely coffee shop next door, 100m to sea

Excellent location. Nice room and bathroom, although small. Breakfast ok. No problem with outside noises. Staff is quite cordial.

Breakfast too late (min. 08:30h) and a bit expensive. Although you chose what you want the day before, apparently they don’t consult the list when they prepare it.

Super friendly and helpful host. Lovely breakfast. There has been a lot of attention to detail in the decor and room set up such as conveniently placed light switches and plug sockets and enough hooks.

I was travelling with my grandma who has a wheelchair. the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with anything and everything we asked for.

The location was absolutely perfect for visiting Biarritz. Thierry was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful. He also arranged for a taxi to the train station. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The weather !!!

Excellent location, in the old part of town, close to shops, restaurants and bars. We didn’t need the car, everything within walking distance.

Really nice rooms and great location right next to the beach. The hotel design is gorgeous and it was really quiet at night.

It’s a shame that our stay has been tainted by the fact that the manager has been rude to us since we left. We had to leave in a hurry in the morning as we had a train to catch. We spent a few minutes trying to find the guy who worked at the reception desk so we could pay the 2 euro city tax but we couldn’t find him and we didn’t have time to wait around. We also didn’t have cash to leave on the desk - so we decided we would just email him once we were on the train in an hour or two to send him a bank transfer. He beat us to it and called us about 30 mins after we left to let us know we hadn’t paid, which we already knew, and we said of course we are going we are going to pay the outstanding amount (it’s literally 2 euros). He then emailed us asking to send our credit card details to him by email which we weren’t keen to do for obvious reasons so we replied asking for his bank details to make a transfer or saying we can pay over the phone. We also left a voicemail to that effect but received no reply to either. Instead a week later we got a stroppy email saying « it’s not cool at all for you to not pay for a whole week » and calling us unprincipled. We responded straight away asking again for the hotel’s bank details so we can pay. When he finally sent us the bank details we paid the 2 euros immediately and emailed him to let him know and to explain we had been trying to pay and our intention was never not to pay 2 bloody euros. Instead of a simple confirmation that money had been received, he responded accusing of us leaving under « the pretext of catching a train » and telling us we had acted in bad faith. As if we would pay 80 euros for a hotel room and then try and rip him off 2 extra euros!

Location: in city center. Key attractions all within walking distance.

Room is small, tiny bathroom. And parking is an issue - you need to drive for 10 mins for car park with ok rates.
