Location is near to restaurants and Shopping mall. Choices for food was in abundance with the restaurant around the facilities. Just a short walking distance to Subang parade and a good shopping centre in just below the hotel
the waiting time for lift for guests are horrendous. you practically have to wait for 15 minutes from the highest floor that we stayed in. The toilets in the Pent house suites are in need or urgent repair. The floors on the toilet on the 2nd level of the pent house suites are practically irregularly laid painted concrete slabs. Ponding is normal in those toilet. Disappointing.

the only good thing is attached to a mall where i can buy my food. that's all
the room and surrounding is very dirty, no maintenance at all, the sewage smelled. horrible stay. moldy toilet. we stayed at room 1305, the family room with 2 toilets 4 beds. the floor sticky and i have to remind them to clean the room next day. the breakfast food was horrible too! will never ever stay in this hotel anymore. we paid around $350 for the stay! wasted my money and we were not ale to sleep because of the smell and dirty beds

I like the location of the hotel that is within a shopping mall. The room is huge and clean.
During the electricity repair on 29 Feb 2024, the notice mentioned that there will be a backup generator but apparently there is none. As the room and most likely the whole hotel was in darkness from 11plus pm to 230am. The room was stuffy with no air conditioning and I dont dare to move about in the darkness as it is dangerous. Hope that the management is able to look into this. Thank you.

The location is not bad. It is right above a mall. Easy access to restaurants.
Housekeeping can definitely be better. When we checked in, we get 2 bath towels and a floor mat. Second days onwards, only one towel, there are two of us! No bath mat. Breakfast can be better.

The location is great because everything is in one place
Parking can be an issue during peak period, if you plan to park near to the hotel entrance at B1 or B2 you may need to try during non peak period or relocate your car later in the evening.

Proximity to my meetings and hotel's strategic location
The room especially the bathroom, although it is reasonably clean, the hotel should look at improving the maintenance of the room and bathroom. My room had watermarks suggesting water seeping through the wall from the bathroom next door. The bathroom wall near the shower is close to opening up . It was some sort of plywood or laminated board ..i dont know.
The water leakage near the elevator in the lobby wasn't fix since the day i checked in. They just put a pail to catch the water dripping. If it is a house, I can understand but for a hotel to do that, just show lack of concern about their maintenance and safety of their customers.
Anyway, Empire used to well maintained and chirpy. , it looks drabby and even the chair covers in their banquet hall has seen better days.

Too run down. Uncomfortable bed. Poor lighting. Lack of bathroom amenities. No slippers. Dirty ironing board. Leaking iron

checkin and checkout was simple
poorly maintained. Safe no battery. First room aircon required maintenance... they changed my room... asked me to call reception when ready. both phones does not work. Had to personally go down to reception to inform.

A short distance from Sunway Lagoon, ample parking spaces, huge family room for the price offered.
Nothing that I don't like for the price I paid.

Nearby shopping centre
Couldn't call the reception because the phone could not be used. We informed in person at the reception. The technicians came the next day and what we thought was resolved made worst. We informed the reception again when we checked out.

Location was good and there’s a reasonable mall nxt to the hotel. Otherwise there is nothing else. Most of the restaurants close when the mall closes and that’s it then.
A bit run down. Rooms r big. They r clean. No hang out places anywhere in the common areas.
