The room was a lot bigger than we expected it was clean and warm and very comfy
view was ok the location of the hotel was amazing definitly ski in ski out 3 strides and you was on the gondola of up the mountain
would highly recommend this location to friends and family
The breakfast could of been alot better not much choice ,the bread did not seem fresh in the mornings also there was no where else to eat at night and the hotel evening menu did not have a lot of choice so unless you want to pay for taxis every night you are stuck with the hotel food which was good not enough choice on the menu

The staff and the food was amazing, they also had this cool DJ for a couple of hours after skiing. it was also very family friendly.
The accommodation was very dated and needed some work. Also the room was smaller than advertised.
3.8
The ski slope was outside the front door.
The rooms were dated, we were placed in a room that had a view of the lift. There was nowhere to sit in the room that was comfortable. The food in the hotel had nothing for anyone with dietary requirements.

very efficient staff and friendly and helpful.
there was a leak in my bathroom which smelled terrible of damp and drains. when I asked about it nothing was done and they put towels down to soak up the water on the carpet. I paid upfront but would expect some form of reduction as the room was not a good standard.

The room: stained carpet, smelt of smoke, safe broke causing huge amount of stress, phone didn't work, very, very tatty.
Bathroom: had water leaking from a wall, shower was either boiling or tepid/cold and had no wall hook.
Food: dinners - other than lettuce and quarter of a tomato, no fresh veg or fruit for 4 days. Dinners seemed like a cobbling together of left overs e.g. tagliatelle with curried chicken/sandwich filling? Or, pre-prepared and frozen e.g. the tartiflette which was ok especially if you're not interested in fresh/green veg!
Breakfast - selection of continental breakfast - nothing special. We paid for 4 nights, half-board, but were made to feel the hotel was doing us a favour giving us a sandwich for our breakfast on our last morning as we were leaving before breakfast time - we had to ask for it and it was given because we hadn't eaten our main course the night before.
Service - massively understaffed - Saturday evening, the restaurant manager was on his own.
Cleaning staff were lovely but had to be asked to remove the towels soaking up the puddle of water every day. The carpets were in need of replacement - there was a tear in the stair carpet so I put some tape over it to prevent accidents.
Shuttle service - be warned, this is not part of the hotel's service. You may be better off sorting out your own transfer.
We are well-travelled and very tolerant but this hotel is shabby in every regard.

Staff are friendly and helpful
Restaurant has a good choice of excellent food
Ski in / out
The pictures on Booking.com and the hotels website give the impression that the hotel is more plush than is the case

Room looked out onto the ski slope.
Chimney in the room from below made the room to hot.

location is fantastic, the size of the room was great with two balconies. food is okay but I'd like more variety on the menus.
It just felt like there were never staff around to help, it would be good if the hotel offered an evening shuttle service to the town as it's very cut off from any other amenities. The bathroom needs a working shower and the decor is a little outdated.

The hotel itself rates a 6. The stress, inconvenience and wasted money it cost me rates a 0. So overall, a 3.
This includes bonus points for the helpful young woman at the front desk who tracked down a kettle for me, and who at least tried to solve the transportation difficulties linked to this property. (The main reason I prefer apartments over hotels in Europe is that so few European hotels offer you the means to make coffee in your room. Instead, they expect you to drink your coffee at an hour convenient to them. When European hotel rooms, in general, are smaller and cost more than apartments, it seems crazy to stay in them; alas, all of the apartments in this small mountain hamlet were taken when I booked.)
DO NOT TRY TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL (or anywhere in Le Bettex) WITHOUT A CAR!
Le Bettex is a small collection of hotels, flats and restaurants halfway up the Saint Gervais ski mountain. It’s convenient for skiing, with ski lifts outside your door, but only for ecological Neanderthals. The hotel doesn’t explain how hard it is to get there by public transportation. Perhaps because they know their clientele is families who drive vast distances, park their cars for a week of skiing, and then turn around and burn up gobs of fuel to return home. (The oil industry may have created this resort.) When I arrived at the train station, 20 minutes down the mountain, there were no shuttles, busses or taxis to cover the last stretch. I called the hotel to arrange a taxi but none were available. I tried walking with my bags up the steep, narrow road, but turned back to the train station after a half hour. After two more hours, the people I was meeting arrived from Luxembourg and gave me a ride. 24 hours before my departure, I asked the hotel to schedule a taxi. None were available. The limited shuttle service which turned out to exist would not get me to my 9:47 train, not exactly the crack of dawn. I had to leave a day early, using the cable car before it closed, eating the cost of my last night at the hotel, €290, and wasting another €175 on a smelly hotel by the train station.
Apart from my transportation woes, objectively: hotel had great views of Mont Blanc, but otherwise disappointing: seriously soft, sagging bed; sluggish WiFi; stupid tub/shower setup without a clip to hold the shower handle; tired, spotted carpet; meager breakfast (no milk one day, no eggs another, and eggs one morning, but no means to boil them). Frustrating, lackadaisical place. You’ve been warned.

Perfect location at the base of the lift and on the slope.
Good breakfast, great views of the Montblanc and the slopes while you start the day.
The staff was great! Both at the reception and at the breakfast/dinner.
Has skis and boots different places to store for the night.
Really cozy area to relax in the afternoon.
Common areas small but renewed and comfortable.
The zone is dead at night, it's not a big village. But the restaurant at the hotel was good and cozy.
There is no elevator.
3.8
The location is great but it is quite a problem getting from the car park to the hotel with bags. Perhaps assistance from the hotel would be good! The car park was like a skating rink so very dangerous.
De-ice the car park. Help with bags etc. The water pressure and temperature was off for 2 days, no apologies or complimentary bottle of wine. All in all a bit disappointing.
