Treated me real bad worst stay ever

Perfect location to attend the Barrett-Jackson car event which was the purpose of our trip. Close to great shopping and restaurants. About 10 minutes to Old Town Scottsdale via Uber. The unit itself has great potential to actually be cozy and comfortable….just needs a little love.

Our particular unit had quite a few issues when we got there that should have been addressed prior to our arrival. The main door into the large bedroom was off the hinges and leaning against the wall. The counter cabinets in this bathroom also had on drawer front ripped off and another that was ready to fall off. Towel rack was very loose too. In the other bedroom the very large mirrored door to the closet fell off the connection points….not sure there were even screws in it? Just lucky it came off while our friend was opening it and not while they were in bed. We were in the unit almost 24 hours until some one was able to get there to fix it. Issue I had with this…other than the obvious, was that they were aware of the loose towel rack and an issue with the tv (?) but those items were not addressed prior to our arrival. The unit is “cleaned” as well. I can’t believe that they did not notify anyone of the door off its hinges and the bathroom base cabinet doors. Not to mention when I walked around barefoot, my feet were black and covered in dust and debris. I reached out to Cozy Suites immediately to address these issues. While they were pretty on top of it, they really should hire more staff or have more resources at their fingertips for a handyman or contractor. They only had one person that was able to come out and fix our unit and he fell ill the day that we checked in and didn’t let us know until 930 at night that no one will be coming to fix the unit, almost 5 hours after I had to contacted them, and they assured me that someone would be there that evening to fix everything.

Convenient location in large community with beautiful amenities in the Clubhouse area.

The 2nd floor unit is only accessible by climbing steep steps with luggage and it is separate from the clubhouse with an exterior entry. The LVP floors were dirty - our socks were black on the bottom within the first hour of walking around the apartment. The unit has cheap small-scale furniture that was fine for a short stay but would be inadequate for a longer stay. The sofa is an IKEA futon similar to the one my son has at college.
