Great central location which allowed us to tour much of the Algarve. Close to all amenities and beaches. Would recommend a car for this location. Pool was well kept and fortunately we had great end of September and beginning of October weather. Extra activities included golf at Alto golf club and a nice boat tour out of Portimão. Auto dromo international race complex as well as lots of great hiking and cafes in many towns.

We stayed for just over 4x weeks and made some amazing memories. The property was quiet and secluded but only a 5 minute Uber or drive from a nice restaurant, bar or 10 mins to the beach!
The grounds and pool were amazing and well maintained with sun throughout the day.
Well located close to Carvoeiro and Porches, we had a great mixed break of eating out, cooking in the large kitchen and regular BBQ's.
We will return!

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely villa. We definitely needed a car to make the most of the great location but also used Uber very easily. The Villa was exceptional in many ways and we would throughly recommend for a trip with friends. Communication with our host also very good. Many thanks.

We had a fantastic stay here and everything was in easy reach of the villa. The whole property was very secure and the communication with Sam was excellent even when we had a moment with the gate.
Property is very secluded. We only had one disturbed night due to dogs barking as there are lot within the area.
Everything was very much though off and all information was available and in great detail in regards to how everything works within the property.
Pool was fantastic and a perfect escape from the heat.
Thank you for a last minute stay and allowing us to arrive earlier than stated check in time following our first villa which we were very disappointed in. This one was perfect.

This is a truly beautiful villa in a fabulous location. The pool is gorgeous and very private. We really enjoyed our stay. There were no spices or staples in the house which may be a result of COVID but it would be perfect if some minimal items were available (salt, pepper, starter coffee, laundry detergent etc)

The villa was perfect for us, (6 adults), the pool was so inviting and the setting is out of the way and yet an easy walk to Porches village with shops and restaurants. We visited various beaches & great restaurants further afield as well, Ubers were easy to come by. We all rated our holiday 10/10!

The Villa was lovely and spacious and exactly as described. The Kitchen was well equipped with crockery and utensils. The pool was large and the perfect depth surrounded by beautiful garden. We had a great time relaxing by the pool every day which was secluded and peaceful and a bonus were the outdoor speakers for music.
It was great to have air con in the bedrooms as the weather was hot, it would have been good to have one in the living room as that got a bit warm. We stayed 10 nights and the towels were supposed to be changed mid-way through, but not too much of a problem since there was a good washing machine.
It would have been nice if the 10 night stay included a light clean mid way through as we experienced in other villas.
Overall we definitely recommend staying here as the location is perfect and it really is a lovely villa.

Schöner Familienurlaub in toller Ferienvilla
Die Villa hat einen großen schönen Garten. Man wohnt dort ganz abgeschirmt und ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist top und läßt kaum Wünsche offen. Als Anregung würden wir einen zweiten Sonnenschirm auf der Frühstücksterrasse empfehlen, um dort morgens im Schatten sitzen zu können. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und besonders den schönen Pool genossen.

Lovely time in Portugal
Samantha & Bruno we're very helpful and communication was very good.
Overall the property lived up to our expectations. Unfortunately when we arrived at 10pm we found the villa hadn't been cleaned since the last guests had left, after contacting the local agent, he arranged for the cleaner to come out. Our thanks to both Phillip and Marion for their help.

Finca zum Wohlfühlen!!
Traumhafte Finca in Top-Lage. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Wir konnten unsere 10 Tage mit viel Sonnenschein in vollen Zügen genießen. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wundervoller Urlaub
Das Haus ist wirklich schön und gut aufgeteilt.
Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und durch hohe Bäume ist man von der Straße und auch von den Nachbarn abgeschirmt.
Der Pool war sehr groß und wurde jede Woche gereinigt.
Insgesamt hatten wir einen wundervollen Urlaub und haben unsere Zeit genossen.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt
Wir waren 12 Nächte in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und können den Aufenthalt als sehr positiv bewerten. Das Haus, die Umgebung und auch der Service sind top. Besonders gut hat uns der große Pool und der schöne Garten gefallen. Einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag hätten wir noch: Da wir erst gegen 10.00 Uhr gefrühstückt haben, war es leider am Esstisch auf der Terrasse schon zu warm. Hier wäre ein zusätzlicher Sonnenschirm hilfreich…

Great Algarve villa
Just returned from 7 nights in Sam & Bruno's wonderful Villa.
The villa is 10-15 min drive away from the the main costal towns and beeches which means the Villa is in a very quite location with spacious grounds whilst offering easy access.
Everything you need for a stay is provided; directions and access instructions were excellent and we had a wonderful time.
We wouldnt hesitate in booking again.

Foram uma férias ótimas!
Tudo excelente, o espaço, a casa, as mobílias, os eletrodomésticos, a piscina, o jardim (o "bosque" como nós lhe chamávamos!), a simpatia das pessoas (dos donos, da agência, do Sr. que limpa a piscina, dos jardineiros). O local é muito sossegado, mas ao mesmo tempo perto de tudo! Localização muito boa!
A única coisa que poderia ter tornado a estadia mais agradável, era ter uns blackouts mais eficazes nas janelas dos quartos, para quem gosta de dormir um pouco mais pela manhã e é mais sensível à luz, faz diferença! Mas voltaria novamente, sem dúvida!

Great and privately situated villa surrounded by green.
Clean and well equipped villa, nice and good size swimmingpool. Beautifully surrounded by green, so nice and privately situated. Still enough other villa's nearby for your feeling of safety. Porches is well situated to explore the rest of the Algarve easily by rental car. We spent a lovely week at the villa with 4 adults and had nice trips to Carveiro (speedboat tour, exploring the caves: recommended !), Albufeira, Tavira, St Luzia, Silves and Armação de Pera (close to Porches) But spending a day or more at the villa and swimmingpool is also great !

Fabulous villa in a great location
The villa is located just outside the village of Porches and very close, just 2 mins, from the N125, making it an ideal base to explore the beaches, towns and attractions within the areas. It’s also close to several good supermarkets.
The villa was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The private pool was large and a welcome relief from the hot sun. In fact the villa and pool were so good we didn’t explore the local area as much as we had originally planned but we did try some of the recommended restaurants and were not disappointed. We would thoroughly recommend Ele & Ela in Carvoeiro, Delizia and Club Nau beach bar both in Ferragudo.
Overall, we all had a fantastic break, the coastline of the Algarve is beautiful and we're already planning our next trip back.

Great family villa in ideal location
Only 2 minutes away from the N125 yet it feels in the middle of the countryside with the large garden giving great privacy, this villa is ideal for a family break. It's brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need (electric whisk to make pancakes for breakfast ? Check !) and well supported by the local agents if there's a minor glitch. Sam and Bruno are superb hosts, making sure that everything is in place for a relaxing break. Plenty of excellent restaurants within easy reach, and good supermarkets only a few minutes away, all topped off by a central location that means trips both east and west are easily done.
Overall, we couldn't recommend it highly enough !

Beautiful secluded villa with fabulous pool
The villa is located just outside the village. It is accessed via a private gate making it very safe for children. The grounds are large and very private. The villa had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyingable. We particularly enjoyed the outside music when sitting round the pool. The pool, which is gated, was large and very welcome especially as it was very hot whilst we were there. We went to Oktoberfest at the local Biergarten, which was under 10 minute walk away which was good fun with great food. There were lots of wonderful restaurants a short drive away in the nearby local villages with all tastes catered for. We particularly enjoyed Restaurant O Leao and there was a really cute wine bar caleed Rolha in Porches. We went to several beaches, all of which were stunning! The scenery is so beautiful. There are several good supermarkets a short drive away all with a very good selection of products. We were there for 3 weeks and we couldn’t think of anything that would have made our trip more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return

A totally perfect villa
Just got back from a 10 day holiday at this amazing villa. It was spotlessly clean, extremely spacious and a very pretty garden. The pool was a fantastic size enjoyed by all of us, especially the teenagers. The villa was beautifully presented and the kitchen had everything you could possibly wish for, although we made good use of the outside BBQ area. The terrace area which is accessible from both the lounge and kitchen was a lovely area to eat outside overlooking the pool area. The balcony off the main bedroom is a great place to sit and watch the sun go down - we saw some amazing sunsets!! The villa is in a good location for visiting the surrounding area and we particularly enjoyed the boat trip from Portimão, which takes you into the caves. I could write loads more, but if you think the photos look amazing you should book up this villa, because you have to go there to totally appreciate it. Thank you Sam and Bruno for letting us stay at your villa and we would definitely like to stay again sometime.

Our first time in Portugal and we were not disappointed. We loved the villa and it's location. The villa was spotless and more spacious than it appeared from the photos. The kitchen was very well kitted out - a home from home ! It is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was super efficient - can't imagine being without it ! We particularly loved the terrace from the master bedroom for breakfast while the teenagers were still asleep in mornings. Really nice to access it from the lower terrace and poolside. Great pool for teenage kids - also plenty space around pool for sunbathers. Beautiful gardens. So secluded, yet a nice walk down to Porches. We ate in Meet & Meat Restaurant (Steakhouse + Tapas) in the village. Food was superb as was the service. Good driving distance from the coast -we walked the coastal route from Benagil to Marinha - utterly stunning scenery and a great walk for all the family !! Sam and Bruno have made this a perfect, beautiful yet relaxed holiday home. We would absolutely recommend it and hopefully will return to it again one day ! Thank you Sam and Bruno.

We had a great holiday at Samantha and Brunos Villa Quinta Vista da Montanha the views were excellent, everything in the villa was perfect for us a real feeling of privacy definitely booking 2 weeks in 2018.

Perfect family holiday
We stayed in Sam's holiday home for a week in the summer and it's one of the best holidays we've ever had. It was so relaxing as we had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, inside and outside eating area, the fab pool and even toys for our 3 year old to play with. The steps on the side of the pool were perfect for my daughter. There was also CBeebies and English TV! The beds were all very comfortable as was the linen and the ensuite shower was superb. The house is extremely well located, as it's not far from the towns and beaches. We visited some beautiful beaches and went out for lunch and dinner a few times too. It only took about 30 minutes to get back to the airport too. We will definitely be booking again!

Fabulous property for all the family!
The property could not have been more perfect for the family holiday that we wanted to enjoy. We were able to relax with peace of mind that the kids were all happily playing in the pool or the garden all very safe. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The location is wonderful close to so many different beaches and attractions. Slide and Splash was close which I would highly recommend and the restaurants in the surrounding resorts are great. Carvoeiro is a favourite of mine. If you have a car Vilamoura is also worth a visit just half an hour away. The villa is beautiful and would really suit families, groups of friends or even a couple. I loved it and would go back again without hesitation.

Great family holiday!
This was our second trip to this wonderful villa. I was travelling alone with my 3 children aged 12,11 and 5.
The villa itself is stunning. The deco is cool and welcoming and it definitely has that little something extra that I had not previously found from other places I'd stayed.
Fantastic facilities, perfect for our needs. Spacious and comfortable.
The children particularly enjoyed the fantastic pool. It is very safe and I felt all of my children could play securely, even develop their swimming! The gardens are very pretty and offer the chance for the children to run and explore in the shade during the hottest hours of the day. The villa is situated in a great location for nearby Amerco de pera which was is a lively family resort with lots of great little places to eat and things for the children to see. On nights we didn't feel like venturing out, we were able to BBQ at the villa or take a short stroll down the road to the Biergarten which offered great food!
We were close to a few great water parks and we ventured to Slide and Splash for a day, I have to admit to being a sceptic, however I was amazed at how clean and safe it was, it was a great day! Other days were spent at one of the many great beaches in the area. A top tip would be to spend a day by the pool and then venture to the beach in time for dinner and watch the sun go down!
The children are still talking about our time there now, we cannot wait to return next year.
Sam and Bruno really have put a lot of effort in to making this a great property, I would highly recommend a visit!

Fabulous Villa in a Great Location
We stayed at Quinta Vista da Montanha for two weeks at the end of June and have only good things to say about it! Initially I was concerned that it was a little out of the way, however, this was not the case, with the Biergarten just down the hill (good food and beer), Porches a couple of minutes' drive and Carvoeiro about 15 mins drive away (a bustling resort with some great restaurants). The villa feels very secluded and secure, with a beautifully kept garden and a wonderful pool area, where we spent most of the holiday (the gardener comes once a week and also maintains the pool). The inside has been immaculately done, with brilliant faciities and everything you could possibly need. It was very clean and as we were there for two weeks we had a mid-stay clean and bedding/towels were changed. The outdoor space is great, with a lovely dining area (it gets the sun at breakfast and can be a bit too hot, but is lovely in the evenings, as is the upper patio outside the master bedroom - lovely views and a great place to watch the sunset) and a charcoal BBQ that we used a number of times. The villa has wifi, though the signal is a little weak everywhere but the lounge area and kitchen. Not a huge problem though to be honest, it's nice to get away from the internet now and then! Overall there was very little we could fault about this place. Samantha was very helpful prior to our arrival and Sheila, who met us with the keys on day 1, was lovely and also very helpful throughout our stay. Porches is a great base to explore further afield (we did an overnight in Lisbon, as it's a very straightforward drive taking less than three hours) and we could not have wished for a better home from home for our holiday.

A hidden gem
We have just come back from Quinta Vista da Montahana where we stayed for our honeymoon. The description that was given about the villa was everything that it said it would be and much more. The rep (Sheila) was great and so helpful about things of importance.
We could go on and on about this villa but there's no need as just one word summs it up AMAZING!!! and we will definitely return again.

Lovely location, spotlessly clean and feels very secure
Arrived at the property, easy to find using the directions or the sat-nav. Opened the gates and parked in the car port (really handy for keeping the car cool) opened the door and was amazed at how clean and tidy the villa was. Straight out onto the patio, in to the pool then explore the gardens. The patio and pool are gated off so we didn't need to worry about our 2 year old.
Really well situated to explore what the algarve has to offer. Out of the way of all the hustle and bustle too.
Will return for sure. The rep who met us was really nice and had lots of information about the local and not so local areas.
