We chose this property for the backyard. The set up great and having a pool was what we wanted due to the extreme heat. The backyard and the house had everything we wanted. However, the house AC itself could not keep up with the heat. The AC would be set at 70 degrees in the morning and by noon would climb to 75 degrees and not come back down till sometime during the night. This made getting dressed in the evening for dinner or cooking in the kitchen very uncomfortable to see the least. When I reported this to the property manager she scolded me for having the AC set on 69 degrees. She did have the owner call but the only offer the owner made was to come by and check it as if to say what I was saying was not true. There was never an offer to send a tech, send fans or send additional portable AC units. I was advised with the extreme heat there was nothing they would do. I believe the AC unit at this home isn't big enough to service this house. Beware!

Great property comfortable beds-really appreciated our trip

My family and I have been going to Bay St. Louis every summer for the last 10+ years. We love the area and all it has to offer. Our stay at Bay Haven was everything we wanted and more. The pool was a huge bonus, especially given how hot it was outside and how much time we chose to spend at the house. I honestly can't think of anything that was lacking - the kitchen was fully stocked, outdoor grill area was wonderful, and the neighborhood was so quiet. We will definitely be back!

We all enjoyed our time in Bay St. Louis. We ranged in age from 18 to 73 and everyone had a good time and is already talking about when we can do it again.

3.5 stars. Like the other reviews, we found this home to be very comfortable, spacious and a good location. We took off 1.5 stars because of our experience with the heated pool and bike “amenities” in the listing. While the owners specifically ask for five star reviews and promise to be responsive to any issues, that was the exact opposite of our experience. At both the time of our booking and our stay, the listing had “heated pool” as an amenity and no language about requesting the pool be heated and paying a fee (as it does now). If that language had been there, we would have gladly made the request and paid the fee - after all the heated pool was a main reason we chose this house. Having a cold (and not very clean) pool really put a damper on our stay, especially for our kids. We reached out to the owner twice about the pool - on our 1st full day and again on our 3rd day (2nd day was too cold to be in pool.) The first text was met with silence. Never acknowledged or addressed. The second text told us we had to request the pool be heated and pay for it. When we pointed out that the listing did not say anything about the request and fee requirements, we got ZERO response. No apology. No thank you for pointing out the misleading listing. Nothing. We are glad to see they’ve amended their listing due to this issue but it would have been nice for the owner to try to remedy the situation or at least respond to us. In addition, the listing says to request bikes which implies the house has them available. Instead, when we made the request the owner merely sent a link to rent bikes in town. That makes bikes an amenity of the town and not part of the house.

We were impressed at the cleanliness of the house and the welcome we received. Will definitely stay here again! Loved everything about it. Very quite street and so close to the beach and shopping.

My immediate and extended family enjoyed our three night stay here. The house is comfortable, clean and beautiful. The pool is a great size and the kitchen contained everything we needed and the tvs in every room were very convenient with kids who needed rests during the day.

Bay Haven was more spacious and impressive than the pictures included in the listing! It was super clean and inviting. It was tastefully decorated with New Orleans inspired artwork. The added touches to make us feel welcomed were very appreciated. We are looking forward to returning!

Perfect location for a quick get away.

We stayed 4 nights, traveling from Indiana to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The house was exactly as the listing showed. We had a wonderful time and we are already talking about coming back next year. Thank you Bay Haven!

We just loved this house! We all agreed, it was better than the photos! It was sparkling clean. The furniture was very nice and beds were comfy. We loved the pool and outside seating area. The town is very cute. The beach is beautiful. We loved everything about our vacation!

We had an amazing time during our stay at this beautiful property. It had a wonderful layout with two bedrooms leading to the pool area. The outside was beautiful and it was nice having the fans outside to cool the area down. We stayed a week; 3 days we didn’t even leave the house. We played in the pool, grilled, and played games. It was great that every TV was Roku and easy to access entertainment apps. Everything was beautifully decorated and extremely clean! There were spices, swim toys, games, beach chairs, etc. It was great to have so much included at the house. The only tiny thing that would be helpful would be a few step stools for kids to access the sinks because they were quite tall. We loved our stay at this beautiful property!!! And thank you for the beautiful welcome basket.

This was a perfect house for our extended weekend getaway with my 2 daughters and 3 of our grandchildren. The house was very clean, and very accommodating. We enjoyed going to breakfast at the nearby breakfast spots, then shopping at all the nice shops in town. We especially enjoyed swimming in the pool with the kids, and eating lunch outside under the patio. There was a small refrigerator outside which was a plus to keep our drinks cold while enjoying the outdoors. We will definitely be back!

We loved the house everything you need is stocked regarding food preparation & cooking! We used the grill for most of our meals. The King bed is very comfortable & by all reports so are the rest of the beds. The pool of course was the focus for the kids we could hardly get them out of it except to go to the beach. I recommend going a bit north of Bay Oaks on the beach the water level near Bay Oaks was very low (knee deep) but by the pier at the Waveland area was quite deep if you go out a short distance. Overall I give 5 Stars all the way! Thank You for sharing your lovely home!

Bay Haven was a perfect spot for my family to stay for our Spring Break. It is close enough to old town to quickly get there for dining out, but far enough where the peacefulness of the neighborhood really came through. It was great to have the back patio area to cookout and relax at with the pool for the family. We felt like the house was our own for a few days as no one disturbed us during our stay, but the owner was available to us when we needed anything. We also enjoyed the openness of the living space and streaming TV selections, along with the DVD player. We never lacked for entertainment and even when we needed to catch up on a little work, we loved having an office space to work out of where we could privately work without disturbing anyone else. We'll be back for sure!

The property was amazing for our last minute getaway. The pool was an added plus and my daughter loved it. The property managers thought of little extras as well with the welcome basket and everything was super organized. We cant wait to book it again!

Such a relaxing stay at this cozy home away from home, and the owners didn't miss a beat! What looks to be a simple little home from the outside turns into a hidden gem on the inside! Beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed, right down to rhe tasty snacks!The pool area is an oasis and we spent many hours enjoying our little slice of heaven there! The hosts were so responsive and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and other miscellaneous. It's a quiet residential area a handful of blocks to groomed beaches of the gulf. If you want a few days of serenity, this is it.
