For 35 years our group of friends have gathered to hang out, play golf, hike, and explore new sites in nature. We were able to do that at the Azure property. Thank you Ann for introducing us to a new location in Lake Placid.

We had a fantastic stay at the Azure Lodge in Lake Placid! The lodge was incredibly spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The amenities were well-maintained, and the kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and grill outside.
One of the highlights was the short walk to the private beach at Mirror Lake, which offered a peaceful and scenic retreat. The lodge also had plenty of games to entertain kids and adults alike, pool table, ping pong, foosball, board games and puzzles.
Overall, the Azure Lodge exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Lake Placid.

We were three families (3 sets of couples with 8 kids between the ages of 8-15). There are plenty of bedrooms and sleeping arrangements. The kids primarily stayed to the downstairs level utilizing the couch & TV, pool table, and garage-rec room. The parents hung out upstairs in the giant living room, dining room, and kitchen. There were plenty of bath towels for all. The back deck, fire pit area, and hot tub were great additions to the property. The beach access is awesome! Ann, the guest relations director, was friendly, professional, and very responsive to communication.

Great weekend! Great house! We had 14 adults and two children under the age of 2. Plenty of room for all. The house was decorated beautiful, it was clean, the large deck with grill and hot tub was awesome! The main living room (Great Room) was perfect for a large group. It had lots of room/small gathering spaces for people to have separate conversations but still all be together in the same room. The property manager Ann was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend for a large group.

We stayed here for a family reunion, ages 2 to 76. There were 14 of us and the space was perfect for us. The teens had 2 game rooms which they made great use of. We never felt crowded. Our host Ann met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. House was walkable to town and beach! Would definitely go back! Lots to do in the area.

Great trip to Lake Placid thanks in large part to this property. It was in great shape and working with Ann was fantastic. Plenty of space for outdoor and indoor activities and we were able to sleep 9 adults no problem. The property had the perfect balance of being secluded for privacy but also close enough to the town for a short Uber ride or walk. Next trip to Lake Placid we will definitely be staying here again.

Everything was great. We've been coming for 8 years now for a men's hockey tournament and this is our favorite house yet. Incredible spacious with great privacy for a large group, very well stocked kitchen, couldn't ask for more. Looking forward to our return!

Just returned home from a weekend stay with extended family for sister-in-law's 40th birthday celebration. Everything about our stay was exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Communication with property management was excellent. The one was exactly the right size for our group sp everyone had their own space for sleeping, and the teenagers in our group had their own private areas to hang out, play pool, foozeball, or ping pong while the adults were all able to gather in the living room/dining rom areas to watch playoff football and celebrate a birthday. Great location about ~5 minutes from the Main St. Communication with Ann was wonderful, and she clearly went over all the guidelines. The house was very clean, everything was working great. Great location and access to a private beach. The manager/owner was very accessible and accommodating! The amenities such as pool table, hot tub, fire pit and activity room in garage made it very entertaining for the 7 children and 6 adults!! No complaints, we would love to return!

The layout is perfect. The parents were in one wing, grandparents in another, and teenagers, (17-21) downstairs. The owners are in the process of updating. Lake Placid offers a lot to do, and the family wants to go back again. Ann couldn’t have been more helpful.

The house and rooms are nice. The problem is the owners do not honor their word. The septic backed up into the shower 3 times and the septic alarm went off at 2AM. Owners responded and did not want to spend money on a plumber. Blamed then guests on flushing feminine products which never happened. She said it has happened before. Upon check out after not being able to use the showers or at times the toilets ; we were told they were putting in an insurance claim and we would be getting a full refund and next year a free weekend. Now their ins co says they withdrew the claim . Owner says we caused the damage so she's not paying us back. This is a grinder pump type system. When the maintenance man looked at it he told several of us that it was not tampons plugging it, it was a greasy sludge. She's blaming us for the issues and went back on her word.

This home was ideal for casual gathering, with the grandchildren having their own space in the lower level, the converted garage for their activities such as arts and crafts and games. With 16 of us we were able to spread out The kitchen and eating areas are as described on the web site. You cant beat the location to town and beautiful Mirror Lake. Very good fit for our family. Plenty of room, 8 Adults & 7 kids. Kids ages ranged from 7 to 15. Game room big hit with kids. Beach was great and close. Enjoyed the campfire with smores! Close to day trips: Gondola ride to Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge and Olympic Ski Jumps.

We had a great stay in Lake Placid the week prior to the 4th. We decided with little ones, we didn't want to be right on Mirror lake for safety reasons, so the short walk (5 minutes) to the private beach was a good distance to keep kids from wandering into the lake unattended. The Lodge was spacious and accommodated us very well. It was a little dirty. My wife does not like to check into a place and find cobwebs upon arrival. Some parts of the lodge have been updated and others are in need, for example the furniture in the great room was old and one piece was broken. My grandson got a nasty splinter when walking barefoot on the deck; it needs sanded down and finished again. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The yard smaller than we anticipated. I had a great converation with the owners son when he came to mow. Real nice kid and very respectful. My kids checked us in so I was not there but they loved Ann and she was very helpful and accomodating. We would stay there again.

I stayed at the property in January of 2022 with a group of 14 friends. It was the second time I'd been there, and I would go back. The number of rooms was excellent, the central hang-out spaces were large, and the proximity to town was just what we needed. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and the big screen tv was perfect for enjoying playoff football. I would definitely visit again in the spring or summer to enjoy the backyard and firepits. My only slight issue was that it smelled like a dog had been there and one of the rugs needed to be cleaned. I will definitely visit again. Thanks again for welcoming us into your home, Ann!

The house was excellent!! Set up perfectly downstairs for the kids and rooms for the adults upstairs. The pool table was the best part for the 14 year old boys. We also loved playing cards and being able to socialize with everyone in the open space.

House was as pictured. Disappointed in the cleanliness. Especially since the cleaning fee was high. . Dust on many surfaces. Plates, cups and silverware were all grimy and had to be washed before we could use .Not enough toilet paper, tissues or paper towels. Needed to buy more of all and only there 5 nights. No air conditioning in downstairs bedrooms.

The Azure Lodge was a perfect place for our family of 3 generations (8 adults and 7 children) to re-connect after the long Covid isolation. Plenty of room to spread out and re-bond with each other. The game room was a big hit for the grandkids and the 7 bedrooms, including the bunk room, were perfect for sleeping accommodations. The access to the private beach was perfect for a morning, afternoon or evening swim and relaxation. The large deck and fire pit were perfect hang out areas. With so much to do in the area, we were never bored and we ran out of time to do all the things we wanted to do.
Anne was a great host and we can't wait to return and create more family memories!

This property was nice. It had plenty of room for my family. There were 11 of us total. Couple of things needed attention in the house. The sliding door to the front deck was broken so accessing it took a very strong man to open. The AC in the main living space was dripping water all over the floor. When we told the property manager about it she just told us to turn it off, she didn’t send anyone out to fix it, so it got very hot and sticky in the main living space. The floors were extremely squeaky if you were on the bottom level so if someone was sleeping down there the second anyone else got up on the main level it woke everyone up. The kitchen was fully stocked and the grill was great. Nice short walk to the beach which was nice. Would be cool if they provided a couple of kayaks or something but all and all a nice place to stay if only for a few days.

If you are looking for a prime location in the Lake Placid area, this is it! We stayed with 7 adults and 4 children (ages 1-8), and there was plenty of space. Property owner was extremely accessible and responsive. Walk to private beach access (shared w only 8 other homes and was never crowded). Mile walk to all downtown Lake Placid amenities (completely sidewalked so easy to push little ones in stroller). Easy access (10-15 min drive) to Adirondack Loj and Whiteface for outdoor enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our extended family reunion of 16 people. Everyone had their own space. There was ample room in the front yard and back yard for lawn games and a fire pit for the evenings. It was a short 3-5 minute walk to our private beach front access. Mirror Lake is great for swimming, stand up paddleboarding and just hanging out. Downtown Lake Placid was just a 15-20 minute walk away and the whole Mirror Lake loop was only 2.7 miles. There were tons of trails and the Olympic sites close by with plenty to do for everyone. Anne was very easy to work with at check in and check out. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house is gorgeous and spacious and true to the listing. We had a somewhat large group in town for a wedding and it fit everyone with ease and had enough room to ensure everyone had their own space and privacy. All the amenities are amazing, we played pool and ping pong and enjoys the back and front deck. Anne who owns the rental was so sweet and accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had the best time celebrating my daughter’s high school graduation at Azure lodge this past week. The house was spectacular! We were thrilled. The graduating girls loved the bunk room, the hot tub, pool table , the huge dining room table, the fuse ball and the beautiful deck and yard. The kitchen was so large and also fully stocked for all the chefs in the family! They were thrilled to use the brand new grill. The beds were extremely comfy and the bathroom large and updated. The WiFI worked great for my family who had to work while they were there. The owner was so extremely kind and helpful. She was quick to respond to any questions we had during the week. The kids felt right at home when she gave us a tour of her beautiful home. The location was perfect for the walks into Main Street, swimming in Mirror Lake and renting boats on Mirror Lake and Lake Placid. The Cobble Hill fun hike is also a few minute walk down the road. We all highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone planning an unforgettable trip at Lake Placid! Thank you Ann!

Because there was an issue with the Azure Lodge the weekend we were booked we were upgraded at no cost to Arrowhead Lodge. I was extremely glad we were! The property was perfect for a family getaway. This spacious house is located in a prestigious neighborhood and there was plenty of room for 18 of us. I really enjoyed the master bedroom which included a screened porch, steam shower, and a nursery for our baby. Thank you to Ann for letting us stay in her wonderful home. I would highly recommend!

What a great house! We had 4 families with preteens to adult kids, there was space and something to do for all of them. We loved walking around Lake Placid and had a few good days of skiing and snowboarding. The hot tub got good use! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to stay here again!
