My wife and I recently stayed one week at this truly amazing house. First, the location was incredible. We could walk to the beach, town, and park. However, with a golf cart provided, who needs to walk? The house itself was so comfortable and all on one floor making it perfect for elderly adults and children. In the backyard we found a large pool with attached whirlpool. There are plenty of lounge chairs and towels for the whole family. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a wonderful meal after a long day playing in St. Simons Island. We look forward to staying in this wonderful house the next time we travel to St. Simons. Highly recommended!

This place was one of a kind! It is decorated so cute and very spacious. We loved spending our time in the pool and hot tub. The beach is so close and it’s not too far to walk into town. Darlene is the BEST host! She even brought a new toaster when ours wasn’t working along with fresh baked brownies! It was our first time in St. Simons and we are hoping to make it back to this property again because the house and host were so lovely! You won’t regret booking here!

I had to make two calls to the host! The first to inquire where to order the linens as they were the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on (organic bamboo - who knew)?! The second to make arrangements to come back next year!
Our family has always vacationed on the Gulf, but my mother insisted we make a short trip to St. Simons en route. I had no idea how great this island was for both children and adults alike! The vacation house and Darlene were AWESOME! Super clean, all on one level (a must for small children and grandparents). Everyone loved the fun, beachy vibe this property gave us. It was well maintained inside and out! The nice, large pool was wonderful, and it was a beautiful neighborhood for walks - only a couple of blocks to the beach and downtown.
Everything was perfect - until we left… the children cried and that was even after we extended an extra day! Definitely coming here next year - NOW I KNOW!

We decided on Friday to take a quick weekend getaway for the labor day weekend. To our surprise we were able to rent this property for Saturday through Monday. Checkin was 4 but I texted asking if we could get in early and yes we were able to get in the house at 2:30. The house is very comfortable and so beachy. We absolutely loved it. We spent the entire day in the.pool on Sunday. I will definitely be coming back and soon! I hate to gush to much because I want it to be available the next time we want to go back to st. Simon's...lol you won't regret renting this hidden gem!

This house is perfectly located! We were so close to the beach and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in town. Darlene was incredibly responsive and and was so helpful when we asked questions about things to do and places to go. We loved our family vacation, and this was the perfect house for us! We will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful home with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our family loved this cozy little house and hated to leave. Beds were very comfortable and the little nooks to relax in are endless. We loved the pool and jacuzzi and the short walks to the beach. And our host Darlene was so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend this home in beautiful Saint Simons. Will definitely stay again.

We found this booking as a last minute rental when the hotel booked our stay incorrectly. We were so happy with the result! I believe things happen for a reason and this was a blessing in disguise! The kids loved it... they could run around and play versus being in a tiny hotel room. The host has toys, books, and games that the kids loved! The adults and kids approved of the pool and the quiet street! We will definitely being booking this hidden gem again when we come back to St. Simons!

This home is absolutely lovely with enough room to have a large family reunion in! My husband and I were thrilled to be close to so many restaurants, shopping and the beach!! Our host, Darlene, was also very easy to reach and treated us like family!! This home is very clean, cozy, extremely comfortable, close to everything, and delightfully charming!! We will be back!!

The property was in a great location to easily get to all of the local attractions. We enjoyed all of the the amenities including the pool and jacuzzi. Darlene, the owner, was very helpful and a wonderful resource for the island.

We loved this gorgeous place, very cozy and spacious… the screened in front porch welcomed us right in, and the decor is so relaxing, fun, and beachy from top to bottom. Makes you really enjoy the Island feel! It’s a short walk to the beach, which we did multiple times. So close you can even say “oh I left my drink on the counter” and go back from the beach, grab it, and return in no time (which I did.) Not to mention the pool at the house, which we partook of just as much as the beach. Bedrooms are all spacious and beautiful. It would sleep a lot more people than I had with me. And the hosts are super nice and helpful, Darlene is literally the best ever. Will be returning!!!!!!

We loved our stay. The walk to the beach was not bad at all and we had a little backyard oasis when we got tired of the beach. Darlene was responsive and everything was as advertised.

This was my family's second stay at this property. We stayed there for most of the spring and summer, and couldn't wait to get back for winter break! The cooler temperatures were of no concern at this place! My kids enjoyed the heated pool (too cold for the beach!) as much as they enjoyed the pool during the summer. We didn’t use the spa (jacuzzi) as much over the summer, but we lived in it over our winter break. It was glorious! The home is well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. They even had a wagon full of beach toys for us to take to the beach! The location is phenomenal - just 2 blocks from the beach and short stroll to the village. We walked to the pier daily! Would highly recommend!!!

We were a very diverse group, (young and old ).
Some wanted to go-go-go, others to just relax. This amazing house took care of ALL our needs and wants. Close to EVERYTHING, with a large heated pool and a hot tub.
I think we found our new haven on the coast !

Our family stayed for a long weekend! We loved it so much we hardly left the house! It was a homey, clean summer cottage large enough to house our large family! The pool area is private an clean! Thank you Darlene for caring well for us

We had a wonderful stay here! We chose it based mostly on the terrific reviews which we found to be accurate. The house is thoughtfully decorated and equipped for visitors of all ages- appreciated the toys books and games for our young kids. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi daily and the beach was a very short walk away. Only minor negative was that the beds and bedsheets were a little old and not the most comfortable - in general this house is a little older. We had a terrific stay overall and highly recommend.

This property is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. An easy walk to the village and pier, many restaurants, and the beach. We were very comfortable in this house and loved the pool. Very nice size for 5 adults and 2 children.

We had the best time at Mr & Mrs Cravens home! They are so responsive so personnel! We LOVED staying here! There is every movie, books for all ages, plenty of room to spread out and you can walk to everything! We never moved our car when we arrived! This home is a ranch with plenty of space! I LOVED the family room, porches and hot tub! The Pool is huge!!! Lots of Patio space!! If you are looking at this BOOK IT! Do not hesitate! Out Daughter is leaving for South Korea on 10/8 it was a perfect weekend to spend time together before she leaves from Ft Stewart!

Wonderful, clean and beautifully decorated. Walking distance to St. Simmons Pier. Lots of local eateries and boutique shopping. Great heated lap pool and jacuzzi. Owner is wonderful And responds very quickly!

We normally stay in resorts, but this house changes things, at least for St Simons. Everything was flawless from check-in to check-out. Perfect location, close to shops and the beach. The private pool was the best. House has a great layout to accommodate any family. We’ll definitely be back!

It was perfect in every way! The layout of the house was great for our family and your close to everything but yet just far enough away to feel like you live there. The house feels like a home, you can tell the owner really put a lot of love and thought into the house. we cant wait to come back and stay longer.
