Charmantes Haus in der Keepers Landing Community auf der Cape Fear Station Seite der Insel. Eine 2-minütige Golfwagenfahrt vom The Shoals Club entfernt. Dieses Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern wurde kürzlich renoviert und ist komplett ausgestattet. Im Erdgeschoss verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer (1 Queen, 2 Zwillinge) und 2 Badezimmer. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich die Küche, das Wohnzimmer und der Meister mit einem weiteren Vollbad. Nur die Straße runter vom Commons Park und mit einem privaten Dock in der Gemeinde, das zu einem Sumpfzugang zum Angeln und Krabbenfischen führt, ist dies der perfekte Ort für einen friedlichen Kurzurlaub auf Bald Head Island! Ein Golfwagen für 6 Personen ist im Mietpreis enthalten und eine befristete Mitgliedschaft im The Shoals Club kann separat erworben werden, um den Zugang zum privaten Pool, das Essen und den wunderschönen East Beach zu genießen! The house was modern and up to date. We did however find a bug under the sheets on the bed and an old used coffee filter in a bowl in the cupboard and noodles in a cooking pot. (The cleaning crew needs to do better) The island has limited shopping and restaurant hours were very limited. We had two nights with only one option of a restaurant all others were closed. The island is excellent for those whom enjoy the beach, fishing and golf. No other amenities for entertainment are on the island. It would be nice to have mini golf as an option. The golf carts do tend to lose power quickly so u can’t expect to stay out all day. You’ll need to give the golf cart a charge. The ferry transportation was excellent along with the tram service.

Overall nice stay. Suitable for 2 couples and long weekend. Floor plan is quirky in that the primary bedroom doesn’t have a bathroom connected nor a closet for hanging clothes. Nestled in the maritime forest and very quiet. Enjoyed the bikes.

If you look at the pictures available when choosing the property, you think it is a nice, upkept property. When we arrived, the first thing we see is a LOT of wood rot and mildew on the back screened in porch and on the cushions of the outdoor furniture. The amount of cobwebs and accumulated dirt leads me to believe that this has not been cleaned in months, if not longer. Inside, the lower bedroom carpets were filthy and had not been shampooed or vacuumed in awhile. In one of the lower bathrooms, there was hair all over the floor and the tile in the shower was not cleaned well. The upstairs dining room chair cushions were stained and so were the chairs in the living room area. In the pictures, you get an entirely different perspective of this property. I would not rent this place again, unless there is significant cleaning and outside upkeep done. The one good thing about this rental is that the beds were very comfortable and I did sleep ok. I cannot recommend this property to anyone in good faith. Otherwise, we loved Bald Head Island and will return, just not to this rental property.

This home is adorably decorated. It was a little crowded for 5 of us when sitting in the family room. But it’s a great location not far from the beach.

We have loved the island for over 20 years. I wish that the membership to the clubs were like they used to be. It does seem as though they do not want renters at the clubs. Not worth the huge fee per person. The house was great. Needs a little refresh of cookie sheets and non stick frying pans, steak knives and wine glasses. The new cart is awesome! Thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend with friends at BHI! It was a cold but absolutely beautiful weekend. We cooked at the house both nights and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Comfortable beds and a beautiful home. Thanks for a great weekend!

Loved the neighborhood dock that walks out on the marsh! Beautiful marble countertops and great styling in the home. We would for sure come back again. And the golf cart is fast and super luxury comfy seats!

We stayed at Keeper’s Landing for a long weekend and the house had everything we needed. We loved the decor, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were comfy. There were some areas that had been overlooked by the cleaning crew, but very minor. Golf carts driving below the upstairs bedroom are noisy, but the gorgeous room makes up for a slight annoyance. We’d stay here again! Thank you!

We rented this property for our anniversary weekend in late January. It was certainly Off The Grid, located in a dark and damp area of the island with no views or sunlight (aside from the master bedroom). I am pregnant and was concerned with the mold and dust all over the fan and ceilings in the main room. There were also logistical issues with the set-up of the home, like the TV that could not be seen from the sofa. We were hoping to get “Off The Grid” and knew most of the island would be closed. The decor is a bit different and the photos regrading size are deceiving. We would’ve likely cut our stay short if getting on and off the island wasn’t such a process. We love BHI and have visited many times over the past 10 years. We were certainly disappointed with the cleanliness and deceptive size/inability to watch TV. The dark area where the house is located also makes it more ideal for dry warmer months as it was quite dark and damp. The set-up of the house is interesting but the tiny kitchen and living space would be better suited to a couple or small family of four.

Spent a lovely long winter weekend at Off-the-Grid with my husband and two boys. We enjoyed the location of the property and took long walks on the beach, just minutes away, and hiking through the marshes and maritime forest. The property was perfect for this weekend - cozy, beautifully decorated, with comfortable chairs and a sofa to curl up with a book on and with a dining area to eat together and play games. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Had a lovely time at BHI for a secluded Thanksgiving. We loved the location and the quiet Keeper's Landing loop which was a short 3/4 mile walk to the beach. The property is missing some of the lovely artwork in the pictures and could use a spruce up, but served us well!

Beautifully decorated with a “beach” feel, short and East golf cart drive to East Beach, Shoal’s Club and more. 15 minute golf cart ride to the marina and only 5-10 minutes to the market and boutique shopping.Peaceful setting, unique architecture.

We loved our stay at this property. This is one of our favorite locations on the island and for years, we enjoyed the archway over the road. This lovely home was perfect for a friends getaway. We loved the comfy beds, the very well equipped kitchen, and the music that was playing when we arrived. Unlike other properties on the island, there were no bugs inside the house (loved that!). The wood floors & living room furniture were super clean. Our only negative comment is that both the ceiling fans on the 2nd floor can not be turned off. The outdoor furniture on the screened in porch was stained & only 5 lights of the string lights worked. This lovely home has all the tech ready features u need to check in with family back home - WIFI was strong and we could make & receive phone calls. We had everything we needed to enjoy BHI. Thanks for letting us enjoy your lovely home.

Great overall. Beach chairs and accessories were old and rusty. Cart was ok, but we had a flat one day and had to walk home. The management company fixed it quickly. Nicely done. Definitely would come back.

We love this house. The location was gorgeous and the house was very clean. A few minor updates such as replacing the outdoor lights and the cushions on the screen porch. The pictures definitely made the house look bigger than it really was but it was extremely cozy and worked great for our family.

The house is cute and we appreciated that it was stocked with most of the basics to get through a week vacation without needing to run to the store for toilet paper and such.
