My husband, our 2 adult children and significant others along with husband’s youngest brother and his wife all stayed here. Considering GH - location is pretty flat, close to most attractions, ample parking and directly across from the beach!!!! Everyone in our group LOVED this location

Fantastic place with great accessibility to the beach right across the street. The home was equipped with everything we needed and was neat and clean. Enjoyed waking up and sitting on the deck taking in the views of Lake Michigan!

Cottage was everything we needed. Plenty of sleeping room for the six of us. Lake Michigan view and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our stay was in the fall and the trees were beautiful. Definitely recommend.

I would suggest you leave a list including pharmacies, urgent care, hospitals, etc.

It was perfect and fit most of our needs. One item that I would of loved to see is a permanent hand rail in one of the showers. It seems like a little thing to bring up, but for us older folks, it is a big deal. The parking was perfect and getting in and out was wonderful. Overall, I would rent again and had a wonderful time.

We loved our stay! The location is excellent, right across the street from the beach. The home is clean and comfortable. We had 4 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space. Air conditioning works very well. On site laundry is very handy to have! We have already booked again for next summer!

This cottage is darling, is in a perfect location right across from the beach and the owners are so very nice to deal with. Five friends and I stayed there for week and loved having our own bedrooms and the two full bathrooms. The roomy deck was a great option for sunning if you chose to skip the beach. The porch was delightful as an additional living space and the kitchen and eating areas were adequate. I would recommend this property in beautiful Grand Haven.

This was our second year staying at this cottage. It is a wonderful place for our family reunion of 6 adults and 3 small children. It is well stocked from everything you need in the kitchen to sand toys for the beach. The location is the best! The cottage is directly across from the state park beach and pier. It is also within walking distance to the boardwalk and downtown. Trolley pickup is near by. Check in and check out were easy and Stacey and Dennis were wonderful hosts.

Great house and amenities, wonderful location and communication with the owners. Worked with me from the very start and at the end of the stay. My family of 9 stayed for a weekend and this was our first time at this house. We had plenty of room enjoyed the deck and other amenities. Would recommend and would stay again forsure. Thank you!

Home is Cottage cute and close to the beach. Bathrooms are very small but everything you need for a fun time at the beach. Would recommend for a family or small group.

Our family comes to Grand Haven almost every year, and this is the first house we’ve ever wanted to stay in twice! The location is a great balance of beach and city. In previous stays at other houses, we would make it to the beach once or twice. But with La Dolce Vita, my dad and toddler son walked over to the beach every morning. (It’s right by the playground on the beach!) And we popped over for sunset almost every night. This house itself also has a great, large living area for our different little groups to all hang out together. The sun room area is nice to hang out and be with everyone in the living room, and makes it truly feel like a beach house. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen every morning and it worked for just what we needed. Everything was clean and put together. We’ve stayed at older properties down the street but this one was a good balance of renovated and classic cottage feel. The porch got a lot of use, too. So much fun to watch all the people go by. We also really liked the fact that this house is owned by an individual, Stacy. We didn’t need anything while we were there but she was very communicative and check-in was a breeze!!

Room for our group of eight. Clean and tastefully decorated. Lots of character and charm. Location is great with a view.

This place was a fantastic place to enjoy Lake Michigan. It easily slept 10 people and dining was easy, at either of the two tables on the outside deck, or in the dining area. The kitchen was well equipped and well organized. It might have been a bit tight to sit 10 adults at the table inside but there were two bar stools at a nearby kitchen counter.

This is the second summer in a row we rented this home. Sleeps many and the decor is beach perfect. Amenities and stocked kitchen for cooking in is a huge benefit to not have to bring too much. Great location across from the beach and a short walk to downtown GH. Fun to be there this year during coast guard festival. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Grand Haven. It’s close to the beach and also downtown. It’s got a really nice flow and open space on the main floor but adequate privacy upstairs. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

If you are a beach lover, this is the perfect place. Steps from the beach, beautiful view, very clean and well equipped cottage.

We had a great time in Grand Haven. Best feature of this property is the location. Cross the street and you are at the State Park. A few more steps and you are on the beach! Perfect. It is a short drive to the downtown shops too. Be sure to check out the Imagination Station if you are there with kids. It is close, and is a fantastic outdoor playground.

We had 8 friends and family stay. We took family and senior pictures on Saturday. The house was very nice. A great place to clean up and regroup as well as eat together. The house is right across from the beach, perfect location. Weather was fantastic and the next door neighbor was so sweet and helpful.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. 6 adults and 3 children under 3. Pros - The location of the property is great - right across from the beach and just a short 1 mile walk into town. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had, we even forgot something in the house after check out on Sunday and the owner responded immediately to let us back in. Cons - The house felt cramped with 6 adults and 3 children. The house can sleep 10 as stated on the listing, the communal space however would be very tight for 10 people. We just about made it work in the dining room and living room with 6 adults at the table and on the couches and children on the floor. Some aspects of the house and finishes are on the older side but the property manager assured me that they were replacing some items ahead of next season.

Our experience was amazing. The owner was very quick with communication and responses. The home was very comfortable and the location was second to none. When we visit Grand Haven again, this will be where we stay.

Beautiful sunsets from your spacious private deck, or an easy walk to the waters edge. We were 4 women on our 31st annual getaway and love the town of Grand Haven. From shopping, to cocktails in the sand at Notos, to morning coffee in the sun room we enjoyed our time in GH. The house location is perfect for the beach and only about a mile from town, easily walked. As mentioned in previous reviews the downstairs is remodeled and lovely. The upstairs could use a thorough updating and carpet cleaning. Also as mentioned there are a variety of pillows but many that could be replaced. Shower vents and throw rugs could use some cleaning. All said we enjoyed our time and a bit of attention to detail would make this five stars.

The house was great with a lot of upgrades. Location was even better being right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to town! There were a lot of jealous people who walked bye and saw us sitting on the deck!

The cottage was wonderful for our family. The sun porch and deck were our favorite places to hangout and enjoy the views. Love being right across from the beach!

Great place to stay with family. Close to everything in Grand Haven - beach, pier, ice cream, and downtown. The amenities were really nice, including kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, the list goes on. Will definitely book again!

We had an excellent stay at this property, check in was easy, with concise, clear instructions on what to expect. The house is perfectly located and had versatile options for sleeping arrangements for my large family (9 adults)! The beds were comfy and the views were stellar. Every room had electric fans which made sleeping pleasant (pillows were hit or miss, as mentioned another review, but sufficient). There is a washer and dryer on site, was very useful for our weeklong stay. My only wish would be a hairdryer. But the house is directly across from the beach! We walked the pier, walked i to town, walked to the bil-mar, perfect location. Perfect beach house! Thank you!
