Fahrrinne des BHI Country Club. Nur einen 10-minütigen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt, bietet diese Residenz einen außergewöhnlichen Blick auf die Natur von innen und außen. Der offene Grundriss ist perfekt für die Unterhaltung mit unglaublichen architektonischen Oberflächen im ganzen Haus. Die Küche ist Master-Design und ist perfekt für den Küchenchef in Ihrer Gruppe! Diese Schönheit bietet Platz für 8 Personen mit einer Master-Suite im Erdgeschoss mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem Bürobereich, zwei Schlafzimmern im Obergeschoss, beide mit Queensize-Betten und einem separaten Bad. Es gibt auch ein Loft (4. Schlafzimmer) mit TV und Platz für zwei weitere Gäste. Wir haben jede Menge Strandausrüstung, Außengrill, WLAN und zwei Golfwagen für 4 Personen. Eine temporäre BHI Golf-Mitgliedschaft ist auch während Ihres Aufenthalts erhältlich. Decor simply beautiful and fun. Much care and thought went into quality materials and decorating! Location ideal for centralized access to all of the island. A disappointment was too firm bedding on all beds- some of our group really did not sleep well at all. Also seating in living area may need replacing-very low and no longer cushiony.

We love this house, location, and everything about it. It has a great layout, lovely furniture, books, and just a general attention to detail. We have stayed at many houses on BHI, but this is our favorite.

We had a fantastic day at Tupelo Honey! The home is absolutely beautifully crafted and includes all of the trimmings necessary for a wonderful beach vacation at Bald Head Island. We cannot wait to come back next year!

This house was the absolute best for our women’s retreat weekend. We felt right at home instantly. I had a desk to work at in the lower level and there was lots of room to spread out in the beautiful great room. The quality of the home is the tippy top. So thankful to have gotten to enjoy it for a long weekend.

Loved everything about the home with the exception of cleanliness. The kitchen counters, cabinets and table were sticky with food residue as if they had not been wiped down. Bathroom floors needed to be swept and mopped. There were no cleaning supplies for us to clean the areas that were left unclean. The towels were washed but were not clean, as if they didn’t use enough detergent. They were folded damp and put away which left them smelling like mildew. We know the house is big and it’s a lot to clean in an afternoon but common wiping down of cabinets and counters should be standard. The furniture in the living room needs to be replaced as well, you sit on the cushions and they slide out from underneath. Aside from these things the house has a great vibe and we had a great time.

The house itself was exactly as pictured with many wonderful amenities. Only complaints are that the living room couches and the mattress in the crofter are well past their life expectancy.

This was an incredibly wonderful property. Our family enjoyed every minute. We especially loved the location in the maritime Forest.
And being able to use the golf carts wa an added bonus.

We had a great time at Tupelo Honey. The house had everything we needed. The golf carts were very zippy, which we appreciated a great deal. The only minor downside was that some of the kitchen utensils and cookware were not clean when we arrived. But the property manager was very responsive and immediately sent out a cleaning crew.

Tupelo Honey is a beautiful house with lots of character and all the amenities you could need. We’ve stayed at 10 or so homes on the island and this one was one of our favorites. We had a blast!

This is the first time we've repeated a vacation, in the same place, and we hope to make it an annual event! Tupelo Honey is a lovely home, and it is very well equiped to make your stay perfect on Bald Head Island.

Our group of 8 ranged from ages 22 - 73 and everyone of us had a fantastic time due to to the quality and layout of the property! We had all we needed to make ourselves at home yet be on vacation. Even with a few rainy days there was room for all of us to be together yet have our own space! The quality of custom construction and superior interior decoration really made us feel special guests!!

We enjoyed our stay! The home is centrally located to the market, ferry, beach, club, etc. which allowed us to get anywhere we wanted quickly. The layout of the home worked perfectly for our family and we all loved the charm. Our only request for next time is that the porch and outdoor furniture be cleaned for use so the beautiful outdoors can be enjoyed. Thank you and we are looking forward to it again.

Tupelo Honey is a well-appointed home with a peaceful view of the golf course. Plenty of room for most families to spread out and have some private space. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal time. There was toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent and laundry detergent to last for a long weekend. The living room furniture truly does need to be updated, it was very uncomfortable to sit on for more than 45 minutes at a time. We did have to clean off the outdoor furniture upon arrival as that had been overlooked by the cleaning service but it didn't take very long to do. We would stay at Tupelo Honey again; it has a nice central location on the island near everything. Thanks for hosting us!

The house was so well appointed and laid out, it was a treat to spend a few days at Tupelo Honey. Its close to everything, the porch is a perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while the sun sets over the golf course before making dinner in the incredible kitchen. We already can't wait to go back!

This is a great location on the island. The house is really spacious and had plenty of room for us to spread out. The addition of the guest crofter is also a really great addition. Our only complaint was the cleanliness when we arrived at the house. There was trash in some of the trash cans (inside), grease on the stove, and the kitchen counters and floor had to be re-vacuumed and cleaned. I contacted BHI Services and they were apologetic and responsive.

After 10 years of talking to my wife's Aunt and Uncle about Bald Head Island. We took weeks of researching the perfect home. It was our 25th wedding anniversary was on 4/3/2019 and we had all 3 of our children with us. 7 people total. We had stayed on Bald Head Island 10-15 times each time better than the one before renting through Bald Head Island rental management.
Everything was GREAT until it wasn't. Once we arrived we found out that the (mother in law suite) that was pictured was being renovated and now our aunt and uncle could not have their own space and enjoy PARADISE. I called the management company about 15 minutes into arriving and they said they would call me back. We waited 3 hours with no call back and once I called and talked to them they said the (mother in law suite) was never a part of the rental package? there was a loft with a pull out sofa that could sleep 2 additional people was the 4th bedroom?? Which now was an inconvenience to the whole family and our stay on the island. It rain all day the next day I called again and asked if there were any golf carts available with the plastic protection that we could rent to go out to restaurants, the local market or exploring or could we rent the plastic shields for the existing golf carts - once again they said they would call me back. No one ever called back from the management team so we had to stay in the house the entire day. A full day lost.
The home was beautiful and the people on the island made it a wonderful experience, but the communication and customer service from the management company was not what I was use to when visiting bald Head Island.
We may look at other options in the future when renting our dream vacation home because when I go on vacation I shouldn't have to WORK so hard to make the vacation enjoyable.

Tupelo Honey was the perfect getaway to take some overseas guests for some relaxation before the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was incredible- nicely decorated and beautifully designed. Everyone agreed that this was the nicest house we'd ever stay in. The kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of space for 5 adults. We enjoyed afternoons on the deck and porch and especially had fun driving around in the golf carts. We would not hesitate to come back to the house again.

The house is picture perfect with many unique touches extending the beach cottage theme. We cooked dinner every evening and found the kitchen well stocked with everything we could ever need. We were there shortly after hurricane Florance and this house did not have any damage. The property manager was very helpful, and there was plenty of room for us and 5 teens. We would love to go back and highly recommend this property.

Our family had a great week staying at the Tupelo Honey. It's a gorgeous, well-kept home located in the forest with beautiful views of the golf course. The layout of the house was complimentary to our family's needs. The home was also stocked with high-end beach chairs, bikes, etc. No need to bring anything! Highly recommend!

This home was so neat! The design of it is very interesting. Plus it's in a great location, near the beach, golf course, market...whatever you need. I've stayed in a lot of places on BHI, this was in my top 5! Definitely recommend it
