Upon arriving the wrong box # was given and almost got the sense that this was purposeful. The place is large and all furniture was second hand, stained, and/or water damaged yard sale type furniture. Carpets, chairs, and couches all stained. Set up a speaker to have music in living room and owner called to tell us neighbors complained (He has a decibel meter and listening device - INSIDE the home), and said was confirmed by his inside listening device. This was a total lie, as we asked neighbors the following day who all were either renting or said they heard nothing. He then locked my other guests outside the gates at 2:00am till the following day and we had to deal with another security guard to get all vehicles in. The following day , again drama ensued with management stating the owner stated we had "disconnected" his cameras and inside listening device, which was a total lie. They sent a repair guy to check it out(which we welcomed as we had no internet) and it was the ISP that had gone down. Mind you, we were a group of 40-55 year old professional which included a PT, Chiropractor, Oral Surgeon, Medical Device Sales Reps, Real Estate Agents, and IT techs all renting. Not your expected teens or wild adults. Talking to the owner he stated: "I just want you guys out of my house" with no resolution for displacement or concern for check-in or like. He was fixated on his listening device and assumed we were having a wild party ! Not only completely wrong, but down right unacceptable. The rest of our stay was without inside music and in fear of what we were saying in the home as we knew he was listening to us. Even the ISP technician said "they usually put these things outside to monitor db levels, NOT inside" and thought it was odd. The house is not well stocked. It literally has 2 dull knives, a few second hand yard sale serving plates, not even a clean sponge to start. Three car garage, however, junk in one of them made one totally unusable. I wish I could say a ton of good things about this home as it is large and could be very nice, but being in the rental business myself, I can honestly say this property and amenities are second hand at best. For the price of this property , there are MUCH better choices available and without the scrutiny and drama ! We have stayed in La Quinta area every year for the past 5 years and can honestly say this was the most embarrassing stay for us and took away from our vacation.

Their Vrbo listing does not lay out important information that aligns with their paperwork after booking. There are also very strict rules not listed on Vrbo, like NO MUSIC OUTSIDE, NO EXCEPTIONS. We paid $$$ up front for cleaning fees THEN we found out we had to strip the beds, take out the trash, and clean our own tub...I'll get to that. We need to know everything when booking and paying UP FRONT. Not too keen on "sneaking in extra rules" once there are no refunds. Vrbo says check-in time of 3pm, their paperwork said 4pm. Had to call and make sure that we could still have 3pm check-in since people are flying in. They said "depends on the condition the prior renters left it in, you may have to wait til 4pm. We can let you know that day."....What??! The lockbox code was incorrect ON THEIR OWN APP, so I had to call in a second time to management for the correct information. Our hot tub drained overnight and we had to have maintenance come out during our stay. Third call to management. Also, the master tub was not clean. Jets spewed out dirty water and we had to wash it multiple times before just giving up. This was supposed to be a highlight for our birthday girl who stayed in the master bedroom. She was VERY disappointed. Our bedroom, the people who booked this expensive rental, slept POORLY because someone decided to flip a pillow top on its top. So we were unknowingly sleeping on zero support for two nights!! Any professional cleaning service (or adult that has a bed and a brain) knows you can't flip a pillow top, just rotate. Needless to say, my entire body is still in pain days later; and I have a disability, so I'm pretty upset that this happened. Finally, I wouldn't consider this a "Five Star Vacation Rental" for the aforementioned and following reasons: -Not clean! (found wet towels shoved under our bathroom sink and the master tub was filthy) -Not stocked with high-end essentials (Suave and Irish Spring are not what I consider five-star toiletries) -Kitchen spices were EMPTY so cooking was a challenge. (Had to go to the store to buy some for ourselves and left them for the next renters, you're welcome.) -There were only a FEW pool towels, none of which matched. We had to keep cycling them out in the dryer so people could dry off. Not nearly enough for 5 people, let alone the 11 we had. -Despite being nice, management did not seem organized at all. I feel owed a partial refund because this house was DIRTY & misrepresented.

We had such a wonderful stay. The fireplaces and location of this home are fantastic. I felt like I was in Tuscany in this home. Only downside was the pool sticks were almost all broken but that’s the only complaint.

We had many issues with this rental. The listing does not communicate that the property is in a strict gated community. A 5 bedroom house however only 4 vehicles are allowed, there is no street parking within a mile if the gated areas. The driver information had to be submitted 24 hours prior to arrival. When we arrived at the property the guard did not have any of this information, when the guard and I called Five Star Rentals to get access, the Five Star representative abruptly hung up the phone to call the main guard office. There is NO outdoor music allowed. The house needs repair, there are holes in some walls from door handles and missing wall hardware. There are broken umbrellas, torn patio cushions, and broken glass on the side yard of the house. Most disappointing of all, the pool was cloudy. When we arrived there was large amount of garbage that the previous renters had left next to the trash cans which was covered in ants. The house is beautiful and the rooms are large however we expected a Five Star experience for the Five Star price we paid.

We were a bit leery when we read prior reviews, but were assured it was "all good" now. We arrived to a VERY green pool and one of the bathrooms' plumbing hardware not even working. This was impossible to believe since we were told a tenant had just left the property the same day as our arrival. We immediately called the property management company and they were very receptive and helpful. The pool company ending up coming 3x during our week stay. Unfortunately, the plumber had to come back a second time as they did not fix it properly to begin with- and it is still leaking. The house could be PERFECT if they were willing to put some extra love and attention into it. The house has a well stocked kitchen for cooking.

Stayed here with a group of friends and was great. Super nice and clean. Only “complaints” would be the amount of restrictions (not being able to play music, only 4 cars allowed, etc) and that the pool table had all broken sticks so couldn’t even use that. Usually I wouldn’t care, however, when it’s 110 degrees outside, you wanna stay inside and not being able to play made it kinda boring. But other than that, it was a beautiful place!

This property is absolutely stunning! Private residence with all the accommodations. Pool, outdoor TV, a lot of seating areas all around the backyard. Property was clean upon our arrival and we spent the best 5 days of our vacation. Management company were responsive to any questions I had during my stay. Only downfall were the trash bins full upon our arrival, so by the time we left there were bags sitting outside the trash bin. Aside from that we will be booking this property for future desert vacations.

We had a great time. The house was beautiful and we loved the pool. Everything was in the house that you would need to live, cook and clean. We will definitely come back!

Great home for a large group, plenty of room and usable space. Great location as well in an exclusive nook of PGA West

After reading the most recent reviews, I was a little worried about the property and our experience over a long weekend. There were a few hiccups—parking restrictions can be tough with a large group, but we made it work; incorrect key lockbox code on app; pool maintenance man showed up mid-day on our second day, while we were all in the pool. Yes, the ice maker was broken and the pool table was “dirty” but nothing that I wouldn’t expect for a full-time vacation rental. Plus, we definitely aren’t pool sharks and we’re fine picking up ice at the grocery store, which was close by. Overall, the house was great. Of course, there were some things that could have been cleaner or more equipped, but nothing that made our stay unbearable. All of the rooms have a full bathroom, which is great with large groups, and there is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The property management staff was extremely friendly and great to work with, and addressed any concerns beforehand. I’d recommend this property for a large group with realistic expectations.

House needs a good deep cleaning. Stains on sheets, towels, walls etc. Dishes , Pots & Pans worn, ice maker in Bar doesn't work. Patio furniture is a wreck, cushions are filthy & don't fit. Pool table is worn & Dirty. It's really too bad because it's a really cool house that needs alot of TLC. This is a 1 star in the 5 star vacation line up.

Great location and floor plan - but the house needs some serious TLC and so much was broken, missing or they just do not care about their renters.

Great location and Large property. Not well managed. The foliage around the property is not well maintained and a lot of debris around the walk ways and out door patio. Our group of guys saw a mouse in the kitchen a couple times during our three day stay. additionally we saw a mouse in the grill one night we used it. Pool and spa was very nice with a great view.

The Worst Experience I have ever had!Never Again!
