We loved the location of this property, nice private back yard view. Good space for 11 people. The only thing I would say needs to be upgraded are the mattresses in the King bedrooms and the bedding on all the beds. Also, the back screen on the screen porch was missing so bugs were getting in.

Excellent property. Resort has everything you need. The actual drive to the house is very steep. Otherwise great. Would stay there again.

The house was beautiful and clean. It housed our family perfectly. The only critique I had was that the mattresses on the beds weren’t very comfortable. If those were upgraded or a mattress topper was added, it would be perfect! We would definitely rent again!

First, I will note that we went to extensive effort to take pictures and compile an eMail with a list of issues with the property. Thia has been totally ignored. Issues: Front porch steps are rotting (a definite accident waiting to happen!); Mold in the Primary Bathroom Shower.....this is not only disgusting, but a potential health risk; Ice Maker not working Properly (we spent $35 on ice!!); Grill was disgusting, plus there were knobs missing (if we had not had the forsight to pack a tool bag, we may have been SOL for 2 of our planned meals); the screen on the upper porch was pulled loose, making it virtually useless (again, we remedied this by the use of our own tools....we fixed the screen!); the downstairs toilet seat was loose....again potetial for an injury); the fireplace did not work (never got a spark when we tried to light the pilot light); there was a pool table, but with only (3) cues, and only pieces of chalk, we were limited with our play time. There was a corn hole game with bags, and we were able to use and enjoy this. the bottom screend in porch allowed for plenty of room for this. Despite these issues, we were able to overcome the issues and we all enjoyed our stay. Our Mother had an enjoyable birthday. Howevever, we would never have rented this place (for $600 per night, considering all associated fees with the rental. We also elected not to make Management aware of these issues during our stay, and I did verbally convey this to Diane Pulliam when we returned our keys. I advised her we really were trying to get away from mundane issues, like broken icemakers, grills, and fireplaces.....not to mention the cleaniness was much worse than we would accept in our own home!! I want to make a point that if we had rented hotel rooms and encountered even one of these issues, we would have demanded different accommodations. We fully expect at least 1 full night of our money refunded (nearly $600), but unfortunately, Diane and Stephen did not feel the need to even respond to our eMail. In our opinion when one is "Managing" a vacation home, one should not rely on previous guests and/or cleaning personnnel to make them aware of problems and/or issues.....check out the property before each rental!!
