The cottage was immaculate and beautifully decorated with enough room for a family of four. The welcome basket and milk already in the fridge was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a nice cream scone and drink. The lounge had comfortable seating for us all to be able to sit and relax and enjoy a movie in the evening along with the goodies from the welcome hamper.
An extra touch which I personally would have found useful would be the addiotion of a full length mirror near to a socket and a small table to use when drying my hair. A comfortable chair was already in the bedroom so a small dressing table area would have been a bonus. The bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable.

The property is beautifully decorated and presented. Well stocked equipment in the cupboards for cooking. A thoughtful touch was the hamper, which included bits for the children and another small hamper was left for the dog!
Only downside was we had to leave too soon.

The little hampers were a really lovely surprise and the decor was great.
So quiet! And a super comfy bed.
With it being a dog friendly place it would be ideal if there were a gate just to give peace of mind when coming in and out of the front door.

Brilliant location for Peak Rail Steam Railway and Tramway museum, Matlock Bath and Chesterfield.
Plenty dog walks on the doorstep
Only point if you're bringing a dog the outside space is not enclosed, maybe the addition of a gate could be considered.

Really lovely little house close to Matlock. The decor inside was really nice and relaxing. Great facilities in the kitchen, delightful garden area, close to the local pub. Big bath was a nice treat.
We really enjoyed our little stay, rooms were really comfy and the boys loved the little treats that were left.
Living room lamp was a bit bright lol

Immaculate in presentation and cleanliness. Has everything you need - everything has been thought of. Really generous welcome hamper and note from the owners.
We loved everything. Would benefit from some coat hooks and shoe rack.

Location was perfect for what we were looking for, easy to get to shops in the car and lovely walks from the doorstep for a 6 year old and a small dog.
Very well presented property, clean tidy and some games and maps for us to make use of too. Kitchen was very well equipped and the welcome basket was such a lovely treat
Although dogs were allowed and it was nice to see some doggy extras, it felt like having a dog was restricting . After a walk there was no way of washing our pup as they weren't allowed upstairs for example.

Lovely house, very clean, modern and beautifully decorated! Dog friendly with a mat, treats and bowl left which Dora the dog very much enjoyed. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, cosy living room, had everything we needed. Good location for visiting Chatsworth and Matlock town is a short drive away. Very quiet and pretty road with a pub a short walk away. Very generous food hamper left for us including bread, cheese, olives, butter, wine and more!
No Wifi when we visited however there was a lovely note of apology for this and the extra welcome pack of goodies was lovely, plus 4G worked on our phones. The shower temperature is quite temperamental - ok if you like it hot! A lawn would've been nice for the dog, but only minor things. Overall excellent.
