My initial experience at the riad was bad but more because my bedroom was dirty. Then they cleaned the room and when I mentioned things aren't working in the room, they upgraded me and they accommodated an earlier/later breakfast which was positive. Initially I thought one of the staff members called Iman was nice. However, I later learnt this was far from the truth, she turned out to be a horrible person who allowed me to experience horrible things. I feel traumatised by Riad Omara al Kasbah. I wanted to have a hammam at the riad as they insisted it was good. I can honestly say it was absolutely appalling. There was barely any steam and even though I had so much dead skin, the lady did not even try to remove it - the dead skin remained on my body. She could not even speak English and throughout the hammam, I constantly asked her when she is going to remove my dead skin - she just kept saying 'later, later' and then she said 'downstairs'. I was so confused and thought she's going to take me to an area downstairs to remove my dead skin, only to realise she was taking me downstairs to change into my clothes as the hammam had FINISHED!!! When I told Iman that I had a bad experience and no dead skin was removed whatsoever and this was the main reason I wanted the hammam, she claimed that it's because I must have put oil on my skin and when I said I did not because I never wear oil on my skin as I hate it, she would not listen to me and insisted this is the reason no dead skin was removed rather than accepting that the hammam experience was poor. I insisted that the hammam experience was bad and at no point did she attempt to rectify anything/offer any solutions. She just stood there silently and smiled which angered me. I then had breakfast and I was ready to check out.

The property has a beautiful inner courtyard with water fountain. A very tranquil and relaxing space away from the hustle and bustle from the street outside. An oasis of calm to come back to after navigating the busy medina.

I was disappointed there were building works on the roof during my stay as the pool was being renovated. This should really have been reflected in the room rate. Also i would suggest covering up the jams at breakfast time with lids as they were attracting wasps which was a bit annoying. Finally although the location is relatively central its on a busy polluted street. The bedroom at the front could have maybe had some noise insulation around the windows.

Le riad a un très bon emplacement et a une décoration authentique qui nous plonge dans le charme du maroc. La chambre était confortable. Le personnel super accueillant et toujours prêts à aider. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Je reviendrai.

La télévision ne fonctionne pas mais c'est un détail. La wifi n'est pas très efficace.

Such a beautiful Riad! The rooms are excellent; clean, spacious and beautifully decorated - super comfortable bed. The location is brilliant and I felt so safe as a solo female traveller my entire stay.

La habitación tenía polvo, solo pasaban a hacer la cama y tirar la basura, el polvo estuvo durante los 6 días que estuvimos.
