Parking is not free. You have to pay for the parking unless you are lucky to have free street parking space. Walking distance to public transportation and not bad for city tour. Good breakfast.

The hotel itself is okay, a typical ibis styles, the freshly sqeezed orange juice for breakfast is great. But: I chose this hotel because it was one of the few places in Lyon that was left when I filtered the hotel-list for "free parking". This can't be more wrong. There are quite a lot of parking places around, but they were all occupied by people who live in this area. The entrance of the hotel faces a roundabout, so no chance to stop your car in front. I stopped around the corner on the road, and while my wife went in for doing the check-in, a homeless guy opened my car (broad daylight, 3pm). After this frightening but fortunately harmless encounter I didn't want to leave my car outside so I booked a parking space in the very narrow garage of the hotel. When I told the woman at the bar/reception about the parking situation outside, I read in her face that she's aware of this problem. The remark "free parking" should really be removed for this hotel!!!

Good location and lovely hotel with quirky decor in bedroom and bathroom . Couldn’t fault anything except the crazy price for a beer in the bar! Best avoid and buy your own in garage next door!

It was a good stay. Excellent breakfast.

A good valued hotel just outside of the city. It took us only 20 minutes to the tourist area in Lyon by public transport. The nearest tram station is within a few minute walk. The room is small but clean. The breakfast was rather simple but enough. The hotel has own underground parking for extra fees, but luckily we were able to find a free parking spot on the street right across the way from the hotel. The employees were helpful.

Overall everything was nice. The room was maybe a bit on the small size with a very small office desk but apart from that thats a very nice, clean and modern hotel close to University and parc de la tete dor.

Functional hotel but in a dodgy part of town. If your looking for local ambience this is not the place. But if you need a reasonably priced place to stay near something that you are visiting nearby then it's fine.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the room was nicely decorated, functional but not tired, temperature just right and a very comfortable bed. The district is not welcoming, but I was only there to be close to the Transbordeur venue, which was within walking distance.

This place was disgusting. I was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in the room. There was hair in the shower from the person that stayed before me. I switched to a different hotel after the second night. The only plus is that the staff is friendly.

I stayed there for three nights. Hotel is very good- clean, quiet, modern, decent speed free wifi and pleasant staff who speak fluent English. Its located in a quiet, residential part of town which is a distance from central Lyon but with it's good tram/bus links is only 20mins away from Hotel de Ville. Would definitely recommend.
