It’s aspen. Expensive but a good local.

This hotel was absolutely incredible. We stayed here in the summer and it was perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Would recommend this stay to anyone coming to Aspen!

Loved staying here because it felt like our stays in Europe. Clean. Nicely decorated. Very warm hosts. High quality continental breakfast. Great beds! Looking forward to coming back!!!

This property boast all the benefits of a boutique hotel making it feel like home away from home. We greatly enjoyed the complementary breakfast before setting out for the day and the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The staff was friendly and hospitable. Loved the decor throughout the hotel and the use of space in the suite. We will be back!

We came for a piece of the Aspen Music Festival. For this 76 yo, it was not close enough to the Klein Tent for me to walk, but it was close enough for driving there quickly. The owner and staff were exceptionally nice, friendly, and went out of their way to give some history and directions.

Very nice property. It is located in a quite neighbourhood and is very walkable to restaurants, shops and the gondola. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff are friendly and the hotel offers free breakfast in the morning. Parking is a bit tight in the front of the hotel but they provides a pass for parking on the street.

I’ve stayed at this hotel on several occasions, with this being my least favorite stay. The hotel is lovely and in a great location. I had a balcony room this trip, and did not appreciate the noise level from the main hotel patio below or the noise from people entering and leaving the hotel. It was quite noisy which made it difficult to sleep. Also, the room was very uncomfortable because the bed is tucked into a nook in the wall. So getting in and out of bed felt like a major task. Not a great experience, and disappointing because I usually like to stay at this hotel.

It’s our second time staying at the Durant. The staff is so kind and lovely, the breakfast is pretty great for continental and the lobby feels like a second family room. Love this hotel!

Horrible experience. Spent over $800 for 2 nights. I made a mistake in my booking and asked if it was possible to change the check in to a day earlier and they said it was fully booked. Fine. I went ahead and booked another hotel for $300. Got there and was told it wasn’t fully booked….. seems like they could have just changed my booking date but no sure why… I only stayed a night and was placed on the first floor (basically the basement) and it was so loud, you can hear people upstairs talking, walking and banging around. Awful. I tried calling the front desk but because they are only there till 9pm (assuming since I got a voice message saying will get back to you tomorrow), no one was able to help with the noise. I had a window that was at the same level as the path outside, meaning I had the windows shut the entire time because people can literally see in giving you no privacy. For something to cost that much, I’m shocked at how horrible it was. I’m an easy traveler and am in no way high maintenance but this was just outrageous. I understand that it was my mistake in booking my travels a day later from the actual date but for them to not be in any way understanding and then to have a horrible night stay….. wow.

Great hotel walking distance to lift 1

So need to change the shampoo conditioner and body lotion. Too small and too hard to get product out of the small containers. The shampoo bottle is so small that it is almost impossible to get the product out.

Excellent Hotel, included a healthy breakfast, hot tub, close to bus stop and lifts.

Old and need to renovate… The frontdesk guy was good but the white lady is not that nice. If you’re staying at the ground floor you’ll hear widely the people walking around the lobby.

I loved my stay. Breakfast started a little late for me. But it was good and everyone was lovely. The room was small but very clean and comfortable.

Poorly designed room; very few, inconvenient electrical outlets; no chairs except for plastic desk chair. No elevator.

Quick and easy check in. Friendly greeting. Super quiet, though it was a Tuesday night. Got a free upgrade without even asking since it was a slow night. Reserved parking spots out front. Super clean rooms. Bathroom was poorly designed and breakfast was minimal given how expensive the stay was, but a good overall stay.

Central location at close proximity to the city center. But the hotel is not comfortable, and breakfast is very limited variety. Not what we expected for the high price.

Hotel and location are excellent and owner is super nice and very accommodating. The free breakfast is simple but perfect to start the day. The room has very warm and comfortable blankets available :) Oh and free parking in the front. You can’t go wrong!

Picture showed room with a balcony, our room had one small window and a huge ceramic elk over the bed which made it hard to sleep under.

The room was very clean and the location was perfect for us. The woman at the front desk was pretty rude but I can overlook poor customer service for a clean hotel.

Clean, comfortable and affordable (especially by Aspen standards!) The coffee and light breakfast buffet in the morning is a nice touch. Not having an elevator wasn't an issue for us, but it could be for others. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Durant and plan on returning next time we're in Aspen!

Rooms very small, no 120v outlets that were accessible, room in the basement was claustrophobic. Check-in clerk was hospitable and very helpful, not so much for the morning clerk, parking was very difficult, but this is what you get for $400 in Aspen.

Efficient and clean. The beds are comfortable and plenty of space in bath area.

Beautiful room. Nice continental breakfast. I wish they had coffee earlier than 7:30 or someway for early risers to make it.

There is no microwave in the room. You have to use a communal microwave and there is no AC in the room as advertised
