This hotel is old. So, the best is the location... for the price is not worth but looks like the hotels here are all the same as overpriced. The wifi was weak at the point that video calls were nearly impossible. I was told that all room in the second floor have the same problem. The elevator is scary with some sudden shaking every time it starts and stop. The rooms are not like in photos. You may see minibar in the photo but that is not in the room. The mattress was wearoff but not terrible. The room was clean but the hot water was just warm at best... so for me was acceptla but be aware is barely warm. The breakfast is included but it is served and is just scrabble eggs. Fruits can be taken on demand as well as sort of coffee. The personal in the counter was nice... but in the restaurant people were jist getting the job done without any smile... i may say trying to get the day done. The intenet is a terrible problem they could solve with minimum cost... i just stay one day and never again. The AC is alsonold and noise for modern standards... you will have a continues whitenoise.

Hotel needs an urgent update, but needs to be said that is extremely clean. Lots of stuff going on the surrounding area. Restaurants and shops close by.

My only complaint is that it was hard to find. A taxi driver and, later, an Uber driver both dropped me in the wrong place. There are 2 hotels with the same name, but worse is the location that Google maps says is the drop off.

The hotel is probably the newest in the area. Be careful if you are driving as the traffic in this area is absolutely crazy! The hotel is on a walking only street which is great for a stroll for lunch or shopping. The room is basically furnished. Breakfast was buffet with many choices. It is also extremely noisy in the area. The walking street has music, noises, cars, and people from about 10 am - 10 pm. I'm not sure why, but we put the "do not disturb" notice on the door and the maid knocked and proceeded to open the door, not once, not twice but three times. They seem to just walk in whenever they want - put the chain on the door so you will only be partly surprised when they ignore the sign and walk in.

The Olmeca hotel Express was very nice and in the center of the city i would definitely come back

We’ve booked this hotel, because of the photos of the website, but it looks that they took the photos from another hotel!!! The hotel is very old, smelly and uncomfortable. The tap water, toilet water and the shower water have a brown color and a terrible smell. I think it’s an old pipeline and that was the reason of the color of the water. The air conditioning has a terrible smell and it sounds like and old machine. In the description of the hotel says that it has a hair dryer and it doesn’t, they also say that they have an airport shuttle and they don’t. Sometimes they run out of breakfast and when you ask for an egg, you have to wait 20 minutes for a cold egg. It’s a terrible hotel and I will not recommend it at all!!!

It was a good place to stay for a night near downtown. The breakfast was delicious and the service including the parking was fast.

I choose king size room for my wife,2 year baby and myself. Room was very tiny incluiding bathroom,bed.the worst part was the A.C never worked properly. We got a hot and unconfortable sleep. I requested to change romm the answer was , no room available. I don't know why they decide to give me this tiny room, may be because the deal was great and the hotel was unhappy with it.

When I got to the hotel, they did not want to honor my reservation because the hotel was full, after an hour we were sent to another property two blocks away, if they new the hotel was to capacity, why they did take the reservation in the first place.

I had called ahead about special check in time, and they met us feel welcomed and gave us no issues.

The room was tiny and out-dated. I was so surprised because the room and amenities looked nothing like the pictures. The water in the shower was lukewarm at best. And we had a window facing a brick wall. Very disappointed. I would almost venture to say their photos are false advertising.

Lovely hotel. Maybe a little out dated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds very comfy :)

Not as well located as i hoped, service was good though.

Very centric hotel in downtown Villahermosa with pretty much everything at a walking distance. Did not like the room though, too small and no water pressure in the shower. Parking is kind of a challenge, but hotel staff would gladly park the car for you.

At night I woke up because it was hot. The air conditioning did not work well. I had no hot water.

Was disappointed with transportation. Advertisement said shuttle was free and we were charged..

This is a nice modern hotel, right in the heart of the shopping district Friendly helpful staff and well run hotel

The hotel was easy to find and our room was wonderful with a lovely view of the city and lots of space. The airport shuttle runs at certain times during the day and is an extra cost, we found it was cheaper to take a taxi. Breakfast is also an additional cost.
