Spacious and well equipped. A lovely quirky hotel with afternoon sherry and cakes. The breakfast was basic but plentiful.

The room was excellent and very comfortable! I was aware before I went that there wasn’t air conditioning, but the room was very cozy and there was a good breeze when I opened the window.

Maybe the bed. We were a family of three of us. We choose a room with two queen bed and definitely we had some problems to sleep. A queen bed for me and my husband was too little and a queen bed for my son was too big!

Great location

Loved this place! I’d have liked a microwave in the bedroom but otherwise it was perfect. Loved the bedroom and the staff was super kind, attentive, and beyond hospitable. Will definately stay again!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Wonderful service and probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on.

The Queen Anne is our go to spot when in SF. Love the area and cool Victorian building. The shower wasn’t the best and the upholstery on the chairs needs some attention.

Definitely will come again .

Interesting history.

This is a beautiful building furnished with antique furniture. The common rooms are delightful and very relaxing. It was a pleasure to learn of the history and to stay there. My only negative thoughts are that the bed was hard and the room had a slight smell of smoke and lemon fragrance. However, the window opened and this was easily remedied. I would stay here again.

This was our first time visiting this hotel and we were more than pleasantly impressed. From the first moment you enter the hotel you are greeted with a feeling of old fashioned hospitality and modern comfort. We had a very pleasant room #202 with a working fireplace with provided logs. We felt so safe we slept with the windows open. The hotel is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Needless to say we will be back. Vicki Wilson-Smith

Stuffs are friendly, check in and check out are super easy and fast. Parking is right cross the street. Would recommend.

This is a wonderful gem of Victorian history. The staff were friendly and from the cookies and beverages in the foyer and cozy rooms it was all I had hoped for. Loved the binder with the history. My room was quiet and had a nice view. Enjoyed waking up to a small flock of parakets on the tree outside my window. Close to Japan Town, so lots of nearby food options. Would definitely stay again! My only 2 minor gripes were I wish there would have been a kettle or coffee pot in the room. They did provide hot water and coffee, but sometimes it's nice to have a cup before getting dressed. The breakfast was underwhelming, the egg had been over-boiled to the point the yolk was grayish & the croissant was stale. I wasn't expecting anything gourmet, but most of the options were close to inedible. So yeah, even though the dining area itself was nice I would probably just skip it, other than grabbing the fruit. Though maybe I just got unlucky.

The Queen Anne has a uniquely historic charm with authentic furnishings and decorations. Plus, it’s within easy walking distance to Japantown and the upper Fillmore neighborhood. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. Similar to many older hotels, there are some maintenance issues, but the overall charm and convenience keeps us coming back.

Very cute decor and theme, love the history of the hotel. Always nice to have free breakfast, and I like to sherry wine and cookie hour. I saw a mouse in the dining room. There were some hairs in the bathtub when I showered, and I don't know if/when my comforter had ever been washed.

Historic hotel with Victorian style furnishing. Beautiful lobby/sitting area. Friendly staff and breakfast included. Parking for a fee, but reasonable for San Francisco.

Fun Victorian era hotel.

Lacks places to eat within a short walking distance. Continental breakfast was was good with wide selection of choices. I liked the period pieces of furniture.

The age of the hotel showed better in the lobby and common rooms than in my room, 212. Other than the bed and curtains, it felt like half-heartedly fixed-up "old." The standalone heater/cooler (I didn't need it) gave a "we have a limited budget to make this room liveable" vibe. Downstairs is stunning. Elevator is charmingly goofy. Breakfast setup was solid.

I have used the Queen Ann Hotel several times when I go to UCSF for medical appointments, and they always treat me great. They have also give me discounts every time I mention I’m there for a doctor’s visit. It is my to go hotel when I go to SF. It never disappoints.

Disappointed that I didn’t read more about the property, what it offered. It is truly old fashioned.
