It is nicely situated in a central part of the island, not far from the airport, with a shopping center nearby and a great restaurant on site! I wouldn’t call this a “deluxe” property but for the price (not cheap, but not super expensive), it was top notch!

The property is gorgeous! Lush gardens and landscaping everywhere, stunning beach views, and beautiful furnishings both inside the rooms and in common areas. My favorite was the nighttime armosphere with poolside fireplaces and tiki torches lighting the way. The free morning yoga class and being steps from the shops at coconut marketplace were a huge plus.

The rooms were very nice, recently updated, comfortable, clean. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. Each room had an AC and ceiling fan. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and complimentary valet parking was great. There were plenty of chairs available on beach property. The bar and restaurant were excellent. The beach was beautiful, it was near another beach were there were plenty of surfers.

Loved the staff, free yoga each morning, pool/hot tub, and restaurant on site. Definitely recommend having valet park your vehicle (no cost), as the parking is snug. Would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were clean and quiet. 10/10 recommend.

Stayed in August 2024 and it was a very pleasant experience. Attended the free yoga twice, the pool area is clean and the rooms are just perfect. Amazing service by the front desk and free bike rentals to explore the area. Definitely staying here again next time.

First I tried to check in 2 hour early. Front desk says nothing available. Fine. But told me they would text me when 1 becomes available. 2 hours go by no call. Get to hotel at 3:30 still nothing available even though they checked in 3 other couples in front me. The front desk girl says I found a room it just wasn’t the room they had assigned to me (even though it was the same kind of room I had reserved) I asked the manager there at the time if I could be upgraded. But she said Nope just like that without even asking what happened. So she sucks!!! Her answer was “we do not check in people till 4pm”. (Even though as I stated before 3 other couples just checked in ahead of me).so she lied right in my face. So I told her your customer service sucks. And she was alful after that laughing it off like she had all this power. Very rude stuck up manager

I recently stayed at this newly renovated property and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The staff is incredibly friendly, with Angela at the front desk standing out for her amazing energy and helpfulness. She just has this positive vibe that makes you feel right at home, though everyone was fantastic. The hotel offers some fun outdoor games that add a playful touch to your stay. The beach nearby is a bit wavy, but it’s so much fun to swim in, and the soft sand makes it even better. One of the highlights for me was waking up early to catch the sunrise over the ocean — truly a breathtaking experience and one of my favorite memories from the trip. While the parking spots are a bit small and can be tricky, it's manageable and definitely not a dealbreaker. The rooms were always clean and well-prepped, and the housekeeping staff ensured they stayed that way throughout my stay. There’s also a scenic garden walk nearby that’s absolutely worth exploring. It’s peaceful and offers views of all kinds of beautiful plants, which makes for a relaxing stroll. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic choice, and I can’t wait to visit again!

Good and clean place to stay

The property is extremely well maintained with kind and helpful staff. The pool and hot tub were splendid. The restaurant was also a great option for dining. Parking can be difficult but the free valet made it no issue. Highly recommend.

While the hotel is on a great area and rooms are very comfortable, unfortunately we had a bad experience with particularly one member of their staff.. the cleaning lady only came twice in 10 day stay .. which we didn’t think much of it, the day she came in, we specifically had to ask for them to do the room early since we had a tour very early and wanted to come back and rest by afternoon.. and of course it wasn’t done when we got there.. but that was not the worst.. on our last day, she came in while we were in the room.. we just let her do her think, we waited on the balcony but to my surprise after I thanked her and tipped her $20 bucks.. we couldn’t find my shall or my ring that I had on top of the side table the following morning, I thought it was strange she kept asking,” you are leaving tonight right?” Like 4 times.. which it was when it clicked.. she took them. I asked for help at front desk, they said they couldn’t do anything about it.. then I started putting my story in every single survey , guess what? To my surprise, the hotel returned my shall.. I would not have made such big deal out of it for a shall and a ring.. but more than what the value (Gucci)it is more the sentiment; Still, the original value did matter, we found out from our driver that it happens more often than we think,is just that if the value of the items are more than $500dlls, then they pay attention to it, since you can file a police report and affects the hotel. **NOT RETURNING HERE

Super old!

We had a wonderful experience at the Kauai Shores Hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room and facilities are clean and well maintained, and the view of the sunrise is absolutely stunning. The hotel location was perfect for us, situated next to the hotel is the coconut marketplace to do shopping and dining, where we had the opportunity to visit the farmers market. There’s talking trails along the beaches/coast. The hotel is only 13min away from the airport and 37 min away from Poipu Beach and Hanalei Bay. We will return to Kauai Shores Hotel!

absolutely loved this place! The staff was so nice, we will truly never forget them! The pool/ hot tub was awesome & we loved the lava bar for breakfast every morning! Wake up & watch the sunrise, then head next door to IMUA coffee for the best cup of your life! We took advantage of the bike rentals as well! It was the trip of a life time!

We liked the beach access and how great of a spot this was to see the sunrise. A short walk to a nice beach that was very protected and safe for kids to swim was such a great part of our trip. The on site restaurant with live music made the evenings memorable. My only bummer was the tricky parking and no on site gym. Thankfully Valet parking made things simple when parking for the huge jeep was limited.

It was a delightful experience. The only disappointment was the luau that the concierge sent us to was a waste of money, but the hotel food staff and amenities were really nice.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I enjoy that you have a market next door and a few dining options. Very safe and a great location. It has a nice restaurant with live music at night. The price I would say if fair. The only negative is that the rooms are a bit noisy and the pool needs better upkeep.
