Hotel was in the perfect location - close to beach, restaurants, & shopping. The restaurant had awesome Cuban food and our server was excellent - ate there two nights. All staff were friendly and had a great atmosphere.

The Dorchester is a 'tired' property. However, the rooms (mini efficiencies) are very spacious. Lot of areas to move without feeling crowded like smaller hotel rooms. WARNING; there are no elevators to the wing where most guests are staying. So if you have heavy luggage then prepare to horse the suitcases if you're on the second (top) floor, Beds hard, lots of pillows. The bar and restaurant downstairs makes very good drinks. The restaurant food is farely good. Get there early enough to have their housemade empenadas. Worth it.

Staff was ok, never too interested in helping out with any of the questions I had (where to eat, where could I go to work after check-out), hotel is beautiful but very poorly maintained.

I HAD BUGS BITING ME THE STAFF GAVE ME A HARD TIME CHANGING MY ROOM. I NEEDED A WALK IN SHOWER. THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE IN ANY OFF THE ROOMS. THE ROOMS SMELLED OF MOLD, RUG DIRTY BED WAS OLD AND ON WHEELS THE PHONE DIDN'T WORK IN THE ROOM. I HAD TO CALL THE MAIN OFFICE BECAUSE STAFF DIDN'T WANT TO CHANGE MY ROOM. FINALLY THE STAFF SENT ME TO THERE SISTER HOTEL.

It had a very topical feel to it. Small, not to loud. Perfect for a get away, but very close to all bars, restaurants and beach.

The front desk staff was always so helpful with any requests or questions. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will surely return to the Dorchester Hotel again.

Great restaurant attached to the hotel

Once there (before arrival email requests were answered quite arrogantly) service was friendly and helpful but with limited abilities: not much knowledge about how to get a reasonable ride to cruise port, no adapters and no knowledge of where to buy such... Said that pool was open but all 48h it was padlocked. Had the opportunity to use sister hotel's facilities and happy hour and these were nice (although drinks at first were 80% ice, but once you got aquatinted quality improved) and right on beach. Room was big but veeery tired. Kitchen and dining area but no tools or equipment to prepare food. The noisiest ever a/c I have encountered in my long life, and did not find any way to turn it off. Ice machine produced no ice. No breakfast served even for a fee. Dinner at restaurant was everyday but quite nice. Service friendly and fast but not professional. Starter and main was served simultaneously which is quite inconvenient when you have a cold starter (very good) and a hot main course (ok). For the price you should get much more but in Miami you don't. Comparatively good price and bearable++ standard if you are not looking for anything memorable. Good location!

Amazing huge space in the middle of all the action but tucked at the back so it's very quiet. Giant pool, full kitchen...we would definitely book again.

The front desk host ( Yashira Trinidad) was helpful ..I originally ask for two beds , yet was giving a Kings size bed instead .. She was able to accommodate my request…. Thanks Again

The place was clean and fresh. Very nice. The one thing I did not enjoy was the transition plate on the floor from the living room to the bathroom was over 1/2" of hard marble. Stubbed toe going to the restroom - it hurt I would remove that, it could be a liability. Aside from that, the place was spot on!

Told "Overbooked" me bags in hand, arriving from 6 and a half hour flight. But it gets better.. the getting refunded process is a joke. Almost $200 bucks or else id have given up.

I used to live in Miami Beach, like 2 years ago, and now I come back just like tourist. I new already that this is probably the best location I can find. Honestly, experience with this hotel was muuuuch better than my expectation. I was there with my one-year-old daughter and my friend with her also one-year-old son, and we had enough space, everithing was clean everyday and hotel is close to beach, bunch of restaurants and Lincoln mall. Hope I will come back again :)

I did not stay at Dorchester. They sent me on foot down street to Marseille only after 25 minutes of confusion and misdirection.

Great place , great customer service. Only thing I found was a dead roach under the bed but other than that amazing

I stayed at the Marseille because Dorchester was getting renovated. The staff was excellent, very helpful, and friendly. My favorite things about the hotel was the free cocktail happy hour and the food was amazing.

We were there for one night. Jerry at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending. Our room was clean but very loud. The service at the bar (Jose?) was excellent.
