Excellent service by manager Misty! I accidentally left my own pillow and it is already in the mail back to me! I would definitely stay there again!

This hotel is average. Could be cleaner and better maintained, but was a good price and good enough for one night. Stayed here because we are traveling with our dog and she could stay in our room.

The room smell of mold and musty, and cigarette smoke. I did let the front desk know.. the bathtub drain was rusty and in need of paint and repair..

Wish there had been a refrigerator in the room.

It was perfect for us because we were not spending any time in the room . It was convenient and clean. We did not expect anything fancy. It was adequate and very affordable. I would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Crocker Park for a bit of birthday shopping so we weren't trying to spend a fortune on a room. We weren't expecting the Ritz here but thought some of the bad reviews for this place were blown out of proportion. FYI: they weren't! Firstly I'd like to start off on a positive note, the staff that we interacted with were friendly enough, no problems there. But the bad, the property is in serious need of attention. The wooden stairs were soft and gave way under your feet. There was a random wheelbarrow with empty beer bottles under the stairs, the lampshade in the room was torn and falling apart and there was a dead mosquito on the bedding and the bottoms of our feet were filthy from walking on the floor. The toilet barely flushed. The bed was ok, not the best, not the worst. The air conditioning unit did not work well or keep the room cool. I mentioned this on the way out and they did say they were in the process of changing out some units. Again, friendly staff, but I would not recommend this place for more than a quick one night stay and even then maybe if it's your only option.

You get what you pay for. Not terrible but not great. Dogs stay for free is the big draw here.

The air conditioning unit was filled with mold inside that spilled out through the vent. I told the front desk and they just wiped the outside doing nothing about the mold inside. They offered me another room but the a/c in that room was even worse. I would have moved to a different hotel but everything was either booked or without power due to the tornadoes in the area.

Hotel was very dated and there was no way the rate I was charged was fair. Two nights was over 600 dollars! The check in desk people were nice but I believe the rate was gouging for some reason? Other people checking in said the same thing to them.

Check in took a bit longer than normal as their systems were down and they needed to do everything via paper. The hotel itself seemed to be half remodeled, the beds were comfy but the room was partially painted and partially not. There was a hair stuck to the shower wall and the place smelled of clorine but their wasn't a pool. Also the parking situatiuon was somewhat annoying as I had to park in front of another building as mine was filled up. If the hotel is completely booked I would understand but maybe assign parking or some orginizaion. the room itself was ok.

Check in was supposed to be at 2:00pm. Pretty sure they overbooked the hotel or something crazy. We showed up at 2:30 to check in and had to wait til almost 5 to get a room key. The room was big the deluxe double I booked but a standard. There were 4 or 5 other guests that showed up after me . No rooms were ready they said they were still cleaning. Once in the room, the fan in the bathroom did not work so when showering the walls would drip with water and condensation. I went down to the front desk to see why out TV was not getting any channels as well and was told that room was having cable problems. Very poor organization, no communication to guests. This was not a good experience.

Motel was overbooking the rooms, turning people away with reservations, making people wait hours after check in to get a room. Front desk lady was very rude and nasty, and told us a reservation doesnt mean you get a room.

Booked room two months in advance, then drove 4 hours to get there only to be told that we didn’t have a room. Had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay at 11pm which took an hour and cost more than double my original room.

Great location right off the highway. My husband & I came for 2 nights to visit for a concert so we weren’t looking to spend a whole lot on a room. The room was as expected, beds weren’t horrible & staff was very friendly. For the price, we would stay again!

I liked the cheap price.The workers were nice. The area was pretty decent. Our room was gross. Had to wear shoes because the carpet was dirty. It had a very musty smell and the air-conditioner had lots of mold in it.

Staying at red roof inn for nights and 5 days. Requested a housekeeper come by- Went by the office 2x and asked for them to come by and do a light service- Empty trash, deliver clean towels and pickup the used ones, and till the shower soap dispenser. Mentioned that it’s not necessary to make the bed. They never came by to service the room.

This property has not been kept up very well - particularly the outside. Weeds have grown to the size of trees. While it is in a quiet, safe area, there are no restaurants in walking distance and there is no breakfast provided at the hotel, other than a vending machine. There is no elevator - so if you end up on the second floor, you're hauling your luggage up and down. The interior had some decent updates - but it still felt very cheap. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and pillows were flat foam slabs - also not comfortable. My AC was off when I arrived so the room was pretty warm. I turned on the AC and it cooled down, but the AC seemed to turn itself off every 2 hours, so I kept waking up hot and had to get up and turn the AC back on. The front desk staff were pleasant enough, but I won't be back. I'll pay a bit more for a nicer hotel where I can actually sleep at night....
