rundown hotel still feeding from the former glory

A nice hotel, close to Popelsdorf. Great restaurant.

It took almost 1 hour to get CHECKED-IN. Firstly we got a room without a window. It actually had a window but it was like 40 cm on 40 cm like a window in a cell in jail. The photo stated, that it has a balcony but it didn't. The photo are false advertising. Be aware

Beautiful location in the woods with partial view over the Rhine. Room price was more than reasonable. Staff super friendly. Disappointing was no coffee machine in the room and parking too expensive. Bar not in operation due to COVID-19. Seemed like would have been a nice spot to relax. All in all definitely recommendable.

Nice room, very big and comfortable bed. Quiet in the night. Since it is in the middle of the forest. Nice view. We didn't have shower gel when we arrived but the girl at the reception was telling us that she wasn't able to help since she didn't have the key... Only after my husband complained a lot she brought a bottle of gel to the room. Breakfast quite poor, not too tasty and badly organized - we had time from 9.30 to 10.30. Having arrived at 10.00 we were told that all the tables were busy and we had to wait 10-15 minutes.

This is really nice hotel. Highly recommended! The property located at the top of small mountain in beautiful forest and has breathtaking views. Very quiet and relaxing. Everything you need in the city is minutes away.

We had a mountain view room. Our initial room didn't satisfy this booking, but we got upgraded to a suite for free with a stunning view. Perhaps explicitly request mountain view, because I think the hotel cannot see this feature when they get the request from hotels.com

The location is super. It is a quiet surroudings and a marvellous view from the terrace. Our room was big and nice. The kitchen/ breakfast and dinner was superior. We were not happy to pay for the parking a rate of 12 € per day. Also the bed was not maken as it should be. And at a time the coffe cuos were not filled up ( small details).

They had loud parties on the weekend , we couldn’t close windows because AC wasn’t working

This was a great hotel to stay in and it’s a shame we only had one night. A beautiful evening sat on the Terrace having a lovely view and a room with a balcony. My only niggle would be the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room but this certainly didn’t distracted from a great stay.

Nice position with a quiet hilltop location in the trees, Good parking facilities Good room with a balcony, sadly only a view of the trees.... Had the plunge pool and spa to ourselves again, and its just as chilly! This is the second time we visited the hotel. Service a little slow in the restaurant although we weren't in a rush. Excellent breakfast Pleasant outdoor terrace area Minor paperwork issue dealt with swiftly with learning for the maitre d', based on mis-filing our booking / reservation electronically.

A lovely hotel surrounded by woodland so very quiet. Comfortable, room with a small terrace overlooking the wood. Large, comfy bed & good bathroom facilities. Restaurant had a large terrace, so was pleasant to sit out to eat. Rather pricey but worth it for the view. Staff were very efficient & pleasant. Unfortunately, the bar was closed for the duration of our stay, due to circumstances beyond their control (water damage) The only improvement would be coffee making facilities in the room, especially as the bar was closed. A short car drive to Bonn, & an ideal place to return to after a busy day shopping. Free secure parking too!

could not find hotel at 22.00, found this, ended up in large suite with enourmous bed, free minibar, perfect

five beautiful days in a quiet green environment . a marvelous view from the balcony . breakfast isn't cheap but worth every euro . the BBQ on Friday was so and so .

I stayed at Dorint for a business meeting and increased my stay with two more night for personal time. I have enjoyed all five nights. The place is beautiful. The ability to eat al fresco is a big plus. A beautiful view is offered to you while eating. The food was excellent. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes away from Bonn City Center and there are two buses that service the area. It is nice to come back to a nice and peaceful room after days of shopping and sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Dorint at the Venusberg part of Bonn is a haven of tranquillity in a rather busy and congested city. Relax on your balcony, the bar or the terraces rather than leaving for the City. Walking in the surrounding woods is a pleasurable option. The hotel itself is very well laid out and the rooms are impressive. You get two comfy chairs as well as the worksurface chair. The restaurant was delightful and the quality of service and food were exceptional. The staff are well able to chat in excellent English.

Easy to get to on the bus with a short walk with suitcase ok. Lovely room and very nice foyer area.

Very cosy bedding. Our room had a balcony overlooking an amazing view! Dinner was lovely in the restaurant and we were well looked after bybfriendjy staff. It was a one night stop in the countryside overlooking Bonn. Breakfast was very good but not included in the price.

I did nkt have a pleasant experience. Hotel has nothing around. Staff are not friendly. If you ask for something, you donot get. No amenities. Neithe rthe room is clean nor there is comfort.
