Right across from the metro, easy to get downtown. Parking free and easy. Good breakfast with mall and other restaurants nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

Friendly staff. Good guides to travel. Breakfasts were very good with lots of choices and to go bags if needed. Only issue was constant light on above the bed. We probably should have inquired how to fix it.

Location is good but the breakfast is very poor and the cutlery and plates are disposable which is very disappointing.

What I appreciate about Holiday Inn is the polite staff and the hotel's cleanliness. They also employ individuals with disabilities, which I find commendable. The breakfast staff, some of whom have disabilities, are extremely helpful and excel in their roles. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommended!

I usually stay at The Element! I didn’t even know about Holiday Inn Express! Breakfast is awesome! Location is extremely convenient and staff are friendly ! Will stay at this hotel on my next visit to Vancouver!

The location is great with access to Metrotown and skytrain just across the street. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

The staff were very warm and welcoming. The room itself was perfect for two adults and two kiddos. A lot of hotels only offer double beds, this facility offers queen beds. So this was the main reason we booked. The bathroom mirror was filthy. Toothpaste crusties in the sink along with some short, curly hairs!! Yuck! The vinyl flooring had not been washed as there were hairs and dried stains. The bed was comfortable and clean however. We stayed a quick overnight and I didn’t have it in me to have to vacate the room while they cleaned it again. I do expect spotless for spending nearly $400 for one night.

We stayed here for a week travelling from NS. Location: safe and will need key access to enter the hotel itself. the hotel is in a clean, convenient neighborhood with the skytrain and bus station right across from the hotel. You can easily catch the 19 to Stanley park or sky train. Lots of restaurants in the area including the Metrotown mall with many shops and a large food court. Room: clean and large. We had the 6th floor with no noise from the station. Breakfast: free and lots of options including eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, baked beans, sausages, cereal and more. There was a variety each day. Staff: they were nice and when I needed anything they were helpful. Pool: outside pool also with a nice view. I was pleasantly surprise staying here and did not know what to expect. I would certainly stay here again without a doubt . I’d ask that the mini driveway stay open for Ubers for easier access for guests

The front desk provided amazing customer service. They had a crib with gift basket of baby stuff waiting in our room. They also handed our baby a toy at check-in which was very sweet. Room is a little noisey from the skytrain but they also provide a white noise machine in the room.

BIG PROBLEMS HERE (1)Overcooked 1 bag of popcorn and were automatically charged $130.00 for new microwave to "replace" old one. Meanwhile they didn't replace it. We continued to use it for 5 days. Clearly it was fine and we were scammed. Couldn't leave as no other hotels available in summer-season. (2)Cleaning people were creepy. Shooed us out daily starting at 8am. Couldn't enjoy our rooms. As if they came to check 1st thing to see if they could find anything to charge us extra for. Constantly knocking. Had to leave each morning until 12pm. So many cleaning carts in the hall, hard to get around. (3) Bizarre because toilet backed up early one morning and no one came. Called front desk. Told us to get a plunger and clean our own toilet. No lie! This was DISGUSTING! We had no way to clean up overflow. We said no and again asked to have maintenance come up as soon as possible. We left room due to sanitation and smell. We came back at 3pm and it was still there! No one had cleaned or fixed it. I had to call again and complain. Finally they came up. It was really awful.STANK BADLY by 3pm. Something really wrong w/ managers and cleaners. (4) Only one guest washer-dryer for 7 story hotel. People were agruing over it in tiny room where it was located. Couldn't use it. (5) Pool not heated as advertised, cold in middle of summer. Couldn't use it teither. DO NOT recommend . DOES NOT deserve high rating of "9" we saw when we booked it. We should've been compensated, not charged extra.

Location is excellent--so close and convenient to everything. There's a sky bridge to a fantastic mall! The room is super clean and great layout. The staff is wonderful--everyone from front desk Julie to dining staff MJ and Samy are so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back again!
