The best!

I was disappointed with my stay at ACE. When we first arrived it was difficult to figure out where to check in. The entrance was complete blocked by painters. There were no visible signs directing where to go. As we got ready to go to the pool, noticed that part of it was blocked off and had to take a long detour. So once again there were no signs. Overall, I was upset that we were not informed about the construction happening on the street or hotel.

Perfect location, Very hipster. Place to be seen, low key service. Beautiful spaces. Tv didnt work, didnt get room maintenance// they called day before i left to ask if i wanted it( staff very friendly) overall charming , very palm springs vibe. And yes i recommend it

Ants in room

Their pools are filthy, even at 8:30am oil and dirt floating on the top and the tile was gross! My room had toenail clippings on the floor and a muddy dirt footprint on the top of toilet seat and a hair ball was left in the sink however the Acr still stands as a swanky and fun spot for travelers just beware of cleanliness won't be great

Excellent location and loved the swimming pool, the noisy airco and refrigerator in the room could use an update.

The hotel needs a major face lift. Every year that I visit, I’m shocked that at why they don’t replace or refurbish. The pool area especially.

Great service

Staff was very friendly, room was quiet and clean.

We arrived around noon with check-in at 3pm, but they provided us wristbands to use the pool. We asked for a room close to the pool, and they showed us the closest one and took our number down to text us when it was ready so we head to the pool. At the pool there are no chairs open but definitely less people in the pool to account for every reserved chair. It would have been nice if the pool service kept an eye on people leaving towels to open more chairs up so the two of us didn't have to share one chair. We also ordered drinks with the runners several times and they did not bring us any of what we ordered. A few hours go by at the pool and the sun is telling us to take a break, so I go check on the room. No other guests at the counter I walk up and talk to the same person who checked us in asking if any other rooms are available sooner, she then turns around and hands me the key to the original room offered. So it had been ready, but they hadn't texted us about it. The room was nice, cool, and clean as well as the bathroom. Unfortunately though, the toilet paper was awful which is a small detail that says a lot about how much a hotel prides itself. Overall, the hotel campus was nice and the room was solid. However the service was a big miss and we were not impressed or inclined to visit the hotel again.

this property has taken a downturn, it felt dirty and run down. Room was never cleaned. noisy. Its not what it used to be.

Love the Ace and poolside service and love the ability to check in early if available. Only issue is pool DJ was unnecessarily loud even after multiple people were complaining and was rude and still never changed the volume.

The hotel system was down, no food or anything was available

Pulling up we were disappointed. Getting in the small room, looking at the rundownPool/ Chairs and a bus,that 2nds as a dj booth. Again not what we expected. Coming back to the room to smelling like septic, and dealing with moving rooms in the middle of the night, again, not expected. I guess you can say this place was not what we expected.

Enjoyed every minute of my stay at this location. I had a patio/garden room near the pool - it was spacious and so nice to have the outdoor space. The hotel amenities (pool, restaurant, service, hotel staff) were all amazing. And location to downtown was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

I was hoping that because stagecoach was going on this weekend that there would be more cool people hanging but it was totally dead. Furthermore the bar didn’t have a great selection which was a disappointment and the food was not interesting at all

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The property was on the bleeding edge of cool when it opened 30 years ago. It wants desperately to be upgraded, or at the very least, a thorough spring cleaning and refreshing - perhaps some bleach to get the stains out of the curtains.

Electric chargers don’t work. Roaches in the room. Air-con old and extremely noisy. Pool is a constant photoshoot, and if you don’t want to be used in promotional images for the Ace, then you can’t use the area… not it.

Dirty walls. Chewed up carpet. Smelt like cigarette. Waste of money. Spent 400 on basically a motel 6 room.

This resort has seen better days. Time for a major facelift. We arrived later in the day. We quickly changed and got to the pool. The pool deck was trashed. Straws and limes everywhere. The pool deck was covered a fine dust that made it very slippery. I know this is common for the desert but other places mitigate it. Any time you walk around then came back to your seat your feet would be black. Tons of kids. You couldn’t help but feeling you were getting into very unhygienic waters. The restaurant is bad. Rooms are not great. There’s was old throw up in the curtains in the room. The AC was loud. We decided to leave a day early. It was not a relaxing clean setting. I will say I brought these complaints to the front deck and they did approve a refund for the last night. They were very apologetic. One positive is that their very dog friendly. Unfortunately that the only positive I’ve got besides the front desk being willing to refund our final night.

No balcony, small motel like room, dirty smelly shower drain, poor room accommodation for the price

Location was awesome and it's definitely a retro vibe. Unfortunately there were some roaches in my room and no in-room coffee (although the coffee shop had one of the best lattes. Otherwise cool hotel with nice decorations. You can get a nicer hotel for less tho.

Extremely disappointed, I feel like I was hotel catfished. First impression walking into the lobby at 2:30 hoping I could check in 30 minutes early but no. The guy at the front desk said the room isn't ready and he's aiming for it to be ready at 3. Um ok sir, so we walked over by the pool area and let me just tell ya. I feel like I didn't even want to sit on anything. Everything was filthy with stains, you can clearly tell they have not updated anything in the pool area who knows maybe since the 60's? Which I get the vibe is med century but seriously disgusting everything was. Finally our room was ready at 3, of course get lost looking for the room because the guy gave no direction on where to go. We walk isn't the room and immediately "what is that horrible smell?!" Mothballs? Mold? Stains on the carpet, comforter, everything was just tired and dirty. We didn't want to stay in the room so we left and dreaded coming back. Came back to the room and just wanted to go to sleep but the upstairs people were so loud and I guess maintenance thought it was a good idea to start welding a gate at 9:00 at night, this went on past 10!!! I will never ever stay here again and I sure hope you all read these reviews before you think about wasting your money here. Also to add I called the desk multiple times but no one answered.

Design of property requires climbing a long set of stairs with heavy luggage - which is not fantastic. Should have Porter to assist. The hotel pool lounge area is limited for the amount of guests and I could never get a lounge chair. It's dominated by screaming kids. Should have adult only pool with bar service.

My husband and I love this property because of it's funky vibe, the lovely patio rooms that are dog friendly, it's very clean, and the staff is always helpful. However, the last two times we visited there were a few issues. Last year there were two or three wedding parties who took over the entire pool area into the night. Very loud and disturbing late into the evening. Not sure why this was allowed. Our most recent trip was much more enjoyable but the housekeepers won't enter rooms to clean them if you have a dog. So one morning we left with our pup to go downtown. I informed the front desk that we would be gone for several hours and would like our room cleaned and was told they would put a request in right away. We returned and it was still not cleaned and no one ever showed up. We had to dump our own trash and track down the housekeepers for towels. Also, the pool is understaffed so when inconsiderate guests don't pick up after themselves, you might have to bus your own area before settling in. The pool deck could use a good cleaning from all the spills.

We paid for an upgraded room, and we’re kinda bummed when our record player didn’t work properly (grounding issue the pre-amp was unplugged). In addition, it looked like some stuff had been left on top of the concrete divider by another party, and all of our outdoor cushions were wet because it had rained the day before. Like, the hotel didn’t pop like it usually does. Not sure what’s going on there.

You can hear everytime the neighbor flushes the toilet. If you feel like spending the night in a Thrift Store, this place is for you. The furnishings are refurbished JUNK.
