This hotel desperately needs updating and a mold inspection fast. The rooms and hallways smell like mold and we found what appears to be mold behind the headboards. I would never stay again. They have to be aware of the mold/moisture situation and haven’t taken care of the issue that MULTIPLE reviewers have complained about. Sadly I was in town for a concert and I doubted I’d find another room at a reasonable price

Upon arriving we were given our room keys. We proceeded to the elevator and the elevator was filthy. The floor inside the elevator looked like it had never been cleaned. We get to our floor and step out of the elevator and to our surprise the hallway was stained & dirty. We proceed to our room and opened the door to a horrible smell of mold and mildew. We entered the room and started to look around. My husband noticed that the chair to the desk looked liked chocolate was smeared all over it. Then he proceeded to the bed upon looking at the bed he noticed that the mattress had a huge blood stain on it. It looked as though someone had been seriously hurt in that room on that bed. He immediately called the front desk to have our room changed. Upon entering the 2nd room. We noticed that the housekeepers at this location aren’t held to the highest standards when it comes to cleanness. Our room wasn’t very clean at all & we decided that we were fighting a loosing battle and call it a night.

Downstairs lobby is nice but the elevators seem slightly dangerous. Got out the elevator Smelled like mold in the hallways with dehumidifier's everywhere got into the room was musty. Half the lights didn’t work, tiles were falling off the wall in the bathroom, TV had 2 channels Asked for another room was told nothing available. Guess you get what you pay for

Bad odor upon entering. Toilet overflowed. Plummer came immediately. Told us the toilet problem had started in upper floors. He came so fast when we called for help it was as he was expecting trouble. Room was damp and humid. Bed was awful..too high and too soft. Bad bad experience. Never again. I am disputing the charges, not what I was quoted when I made the reservation. I talked directly to the hotel to book the room. $125.00 , 2 nights less Senior Citizen discount. Was charged 282.00.. where is the discount?
Front desk run by inexperienced kids. No manager on duty.

6 days. Only 1 day housekeeping forgot to clean room. Reception provided me with coffee pods.
Arrived with 3 police cars blocking drive up. Receptionist couldn’t tell me what happen.

This was my 5th booking at this hotel. My son attends STU which is about 15 min from the hotel. I've chosen this hotel because it fits within my budget, the location is close to several restaurants and Walmart is conveniently located along with several other places I need to run to. It's always clean there and housekeeping is friendly, and my check-in process is simple, easy and quick. As of right now this will be my go to hotel, when I'm visiting my son for the weekend.

We've stayed at Holiday Inn Express for years on famiky trips. The environment was always pleasant. However, this time; I was a bit disappointed. The rooms were musty in scent, the air conditioning felt as if it barely worked as we found ourselves sweating in intervals, and one side of the elevator was out of order. The breakfast was nice.

Seems like there’s mold in the room my family and I woke up with allergies and the room was muggy

The room waa not cleaned properly. I complained and a hoseman came to vacuum. The sink, coffee maker and table were dirty. Bed poorly made. Those things were left until the following day when housekeeper was on duty. The room was cleaned properly next day and a discount on my last night offered.

I dont know why this hotel has many good reviews, it has old carpets, the entrance from the street has many holes in the ground, they only have one elevator working and is really old. The Tv in the room is really old, no cable, idk, you can do it better.

My family and I have stayed here 3 times so far this year. My son just recently moved down here for college and his school is about 13 min from the hotel. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The service is good and the staff is pleasant. And it’s very clean.
This is the hotel I plan on staying at every time we come to visit and watch my son play football.

Check in should be improved (friendluness of staff). Hotel is run down. If you want a better experience, pay the extra $30 and stay at another hotel

Very spacious rooms. The breakfast was good . WiFi could do with an upgrade. The bed was super comfy. I would stay here again.
Depending on how you make your reservation they would require a new one if you need to extend your stay. A New security deposit would also be required.

I would had gave higher if there was more than just one elevator operating, other than that, everything was great.

The room A/C not strong enough to cool the room. The pillows need it to be replaced. Sheets, pillow case and bed spread clean but over a run down smelly pillows not a good combination. Furniture was old and carpet needed to be replaced or cleaned.
