This property needs to be redone and cleaned up. I was not comfortable.

Clean, good service, right on the marina beach with fun activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. Easy walk to Venice beach. Restaurant is on the water, open air and good food.

Great room, ideal for families since the bay has such calm waters for wading and paddle boarding. Also there is a beach play ground. Lots of walkable places to eat. The actual beach is about a 15/20 minute walk. Really lovely staff. Rooms are very quiet. The drinks are a bit pricey but that’s every hotel. Overall had a great stay.

A nice enough property, which probably isn’t worth what they change unless you want to use the beach area or walk/bike the trails. The restaurant/bar is lackluster. The elevator is terrifying.

On the beach, family pet friendly. Beachside Restaurant has excellent entrees so we ate there most meals. Other restaurants nearby were nowhere near as good. The area was very busy with traffic not that pedestrian friendly. We stayed and walked on the beach boardwalk - nice.

This is a very cute boutique looking hotel but the problem is where it is located, it is not in a safe area and the Bay it is facing is not very clean and has homeless people living on it. This hotel's patio backs on to the beach and anyone can walk on the premises, one guy walked on to their patio and grabbed my friends butt, we argued with him and he was chased of the property which was very traumatizing, the hotel apologized and I did tell them they need to have additional security or a gate so that these people cannot come of the beach on to their property. We stayed for 4 nights and I watched several times as homeless people walked on to their patio......this is not a safe place for women going alone on a vacation, I felt safer in Mexico on hotels that back on to the beach.

The hvac system ran loudly all the time even when themostate was off. Very annoying and difficukt to sleep. Old hotel. Needs upgrading. Parking was very reasonable.

Had an ocean view with beach view. Right down the street from the Venice Beach pier. Room was nice would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent time at Jamaica Bay. The location is lovely, the linens are luxurious and the staff is kind and professional. The price is not cheap, but is comparable with other fine hotels in the area.

Distance from hotel to Venice beach and other restaurants was good. Loved that it was close to the Marina. Room was good for the price. Would stay here again.

Great location on a beautiful beach.

They were very accommodating when we needed to change our room. They even provided us drink and dinner vouchers for the wait time for the new room. The restaurant was very lovely and had nice music.

This time I did not enjoy it first Che king I had my dog with me they charge me my dog is a service dog mental disability than my second day no room service had my towels dirty

Beautiful property with nice dining and room service. Would have liked to have been asked if we would like a marina view room (even for an upgrade charge), instead of the parking lot view we got. But my error for booking last minute and not thinking about what would make a more expensive stay better for my family. Would recommend to others:)

The room we were given initially seemed find only to wake at 8 a.m. with really loud constant pounding. Our checkout was at noon so I was trying to work. I called the front desk and they said they would look into it. Never called me back, so an hour later I enquired again. Oh, it’s construction right under you and they are trying to work as quietly as possible! I said that was not ok and wanted compensation. When we checked out the front desk person, Ana Puente (310)823-5333, said she would give us half off the room rate. She would call Expedia but we needed to as well. I asked for her card, was given hers as well as her Hotel Manager’s, Hee Sung Choi (310)439-3022. We called expedia Tuesday evening, March 26, 2024, Francis the customer service representative, looked at our itinerary number 72053048927392. He said no one from Jamaica Bay Inn had contacted them. He was passing it onto the follow up refund department and we would hear from them within 72 hours. I asked him to attach the contacts we had to the issue so your personal could get to the correct contact. He said he didn’t need to since they would know who to contact. We did get an email yesterday stating they were looking into it. But today, March 28, received an email stating they couldn’t get in contact with anyone at the hotel so therefore NO compensation will be refunded!!! This has been an extreme nuisance, taking up my time and the buck being passed from the hotel to expedia. BAD BUSINESS!!!

The check in was great however when I returned to my room that night I could not get in to my room. Maintenance had to come up and let me in but they could not fix the door so I could not leave my room again or I would be locked out. They did not offer to switch my room which I would think is a hazard. They had to come up this morning to try and fix it again. This has been super inconvenient and I’m still shocked theybdid not just switch my room last night and have not offered any compensation or even a free breakfast or free parking for the huge inconvenience. This is not an inexpensive hotel to stay at!

excellent for an overnight stay. Traveled with small kids and the beach with a play area was perfect for them.
