I quite often have a change of plans when traveling and the staff here always is so welcoming in accommodating my changes.

I didn’t spend much time in the room but it was comfortable and spacious. Everything seemed clean, area seemed convenient if you want to go the beach, 4 minutes away. Also 30 minutes from San Diego, I stopped there on the way. Staff was friendly, area is pretty quiet. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but better than nothing and I was happy to have it. Overall a pleasant stay and I would stay again if in the area.

Killer staff and they are very accommodating. Excellent location if you’re there just to surf. Walking distance from beach access. Dog friendly hotel. They could benefit from installing a little doggie area in the back.

It is a quiet area place with shopping and dinner on walking distance. also close to San Diego. Great location the beach is three blocks away

Our check in was quick as we had already paid online for the room. I just needed to show my I.D. and pay for my dog. I liked that the room was on the ground floor and that there was no carpet for dog hairs to get stuck into. Staff was personable and polite. My only two things that I noticed was when cleaning up the bathroom floor after my dog drank water that the towel became very dirty, and that the staff was not sure of an eating place two blocks from the hotel. Those are minor things to me, and I plan to stay there again when we have time to walk around the quaint little town.

Our go to place to stay when in Encinitas

I don’t understand the negative reviews of this place. All the other hotels in this price range look sketchier. The actual rooms were super clean and well maintained. Definitely staying here again when I need a night or two of lodging.

Great place! No complaints. Liked being close to dining, shops and beach. Easy parking, nice pool and pet friendly was also a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place and customer service

This is a refurbished econo lodge. Pool is small and dirty. Breakfast is a disgrace. Do not pay over $145 a night.

Close to beach

I used to teach yoga in the studio next to this hotel. The proximity to breweries, coffeeshops, stone steps beach was awesome. It was quiet and relaxed.

My room was clean and comfortable. We stayed two days. Breakfast was good and coffee was delicious. There's lots of places to eat and you can walk to everything.

The property was nice, but the pool is very small (almost the size of a hot tub). There was no shampoo or conditioner. No dirty laundry bag. There could’ve been more hot choices for the continental breakfast.

Super convenient, clean and quiet. Was not prepared for light that comes on from motion sensor at entryway that came on during night when up.

Nice small hotel

For the amount of money we spent was expecting a morenupdated room. Also parking for an suv was very minimal at night.

Nice place. Clean rooms. Nice little pool. Plenty of dining options nearby. Front desk staff is very friendly and got me an early check in. Walking distance to Stone steps on to the beach. Very reasonable prices.

To my wonderful surprise the hotel was great. I will defiantly be returning. Service was great too.

It was a great location with many cool things to do in Encinitas's. The pool had algae in it and was way smaller than what looked pictured. Everything else about the room was great! Breakfast was small but fine for us!

Close to 101

Good front staff and clean room.

We booked on line for a two queen beds non smoking. Arrived at the hotel and was checked into a room with a king size bed. Shared with the manager our confirmation email and receipt for room with two beds. We couldn’t be accommodated. The manager blamed Hotels.com and really bad mouthed the third party service providers and basically told us we were out of luck we could go somewhere else. We stayed and they offered us a blow up bed for an additional $20 which we contested. It was the most frustrating and horrible experience I’ve had traveling. I wouldn’t stay at that hotel and I’m concerned after what the manager shared about Hotels.com if there’s any truth? I really would like my money back for this most awful experience but the manager said it was Hotels.com’s fault….

Breakfast couldn't use a littlest more options likely bananas, peanut butter, non dairy milk...

The front desk was very friendly. The room was very nice and clean with a flat screen, new shower, microwave, fridge , coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, sink, closet. There was no good place to walk the dogs but it was a great experience!
