Represents great value for money, is easy 5-minute walk to the main train station and the same to the main market square. My room on the 7th floor had a great view over a neighbouring park and to the Opera house. The only downside was that I didn't have a fridge or coffee making facility in my room and there was no air conditioning in the room - I knew that when I booked but the price was very reasonable so can't complain. The best recommendation that I can make is that I would stay there again. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. All up a great stay.

The casting feature on the TV didn’t work and the technician had gone for the day. He did however came the next day but then we were about to check out. I think a 4 star hotel should have a coffee machine in the room and perhaps a fridge. Other than that it was great. Nice location. Friendly staff.

I booked this hotel because it is right across the street from the central train station, but the extra I didn't know about at the time, but enjoyed very much, was the fact that the hotel has bikes that guests can use. For anyone who likes to bike that makes it very easy to see much more in Leipzig (museums, parks, swimming pools, etc.). Another plus is the interior courtyard with tables and chairs and the large koi pond, A really lovely quiet oasis. Finally, the staff were amazingly helpful and supportive in all regards. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was nice enough, parking was easy enough to find and find a spot, but was a tad pricey for literally 12 hours. We spent over 20 euros for 12 hours, but it is what it is. The room was small, but cozy. Unfortuntaely there was no air conditioning in our room, or if there was, we had no idea where it was to turn it on! BUT....the bed! Seriously the most comfortaable hotel bed I have slept on in ages! The bed made up for anything the facility might have been lacking. Would stay there again, in a heartbeat!

Clean, comfortable, basic room. At the corner of a square across the train station, very convenient for public transportation anywhere in Leipzig. I would definitely stay there again.

Pros - excellent location with easy access to the monuments and historic places around, easy access to train station and lotsa restaurants around. Parking underground cost about 22€ per night.

Clean, with comfortable bedding, however, no air conditioning and noises from street below when windows are open made sleeping difficult.

During the night fire alarm and all guests had to evacuate. After 1 hour and check of firearms men and police we could enter again but an offer of a drink for the inconvenience and an explanation would had been nice.

It was so close to the main train station and the old town Christmas market and shopping. The hotel room was a nice size, comfortable beds and clean. Would highly recommend it.

Outstanding service, especially from Tom, the reservations manager. I left my iPad behind in my room. Tom made sure to immediately track it down from housekeeping, then proactively took it upon himself to have it posted to me. Unfortunately, the parcel was returned to him due to delivery problems, but he didn't hesitate to resend it immediately to the right address. Excellent service, and a model for how to deal with these circumstances. I'm grateful and will back!

Uniquely quiet in a busy area

The hotel is fine at normal prices but because of a conference surge it is a terrible value for275 a night which was the case for me for two nights The night clerk - a bearded guy - was very helpful and even came up to my room to ensure that I was going to get my early morning cab. I think he tried to call but I could not even tell the phone was ringing

There was no available parking at the hotel. The hotel would not cancel the booking. The manager thought it was acceptable that we should walk 2 kilometers in the evening with a 1 year old child to the nearest parking opportunity.

Nice hotel, clean and also large rooms, conveniently close to Leipzig city heart, poor WiFi often stalling.

I liked that this place was close to the Hauptbahnhof. It was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good, check-in was speedy, no major issues during our stay. Only downside is that the room did not have a fridge and/or microwave, which led to us having to throw away a lot of our leftovers. Not exactly ideal for a place that is trying to be eco-friendly. We had been traveling in Europe for a month before and this is the first place we encountered that didn't have a fridge. I would not stay here again mainly because of this. Oh, it was also very hot and there is no AC, although fans were available on request. We were able to keep the room somewhat comfortable with a fan and closing all the curtains (which meant no natural light).

I like the hotel because of the location and comfortable rooms. Also the service at the bar is excellent. It’s located in the middle of Leipzig city center what is ideal if you want to explore the city. Also the beds and shower in the room are very comfortable. I found the room a bit warm to be honest, and there was no option to cool it down a bit. The bar is great and there is a good atmosphere. I was disappointed it was closed on the Sunday night. Breakfast is good as well but can be very very busy. I didn’t book it the first two days because of that and because of work, but I was a bit surprised that the receptionist was trying to charge me for it and double checked if I didn’t had any breakfast. It looked like he didn’t believe me ?!? Parking at the hotel is very expensive (22 euro!!!). Prices went up comparing with last week. But other than that the stay was good.
