Filthy bathroom. furniture was torn up and shredded in some cases. The smoke detector was flashing red all night. the toilet didn’t work very well. The food was a disgrace. They served what was supposed to be eggs that didn’t even look real and tasted like rubber. Served on flimsy paper plates and plastic utensils that snapped when you tried to use them. Orange juice was watered down. The place was a dump..

Good stay and comfortable bed. Breakfast ran out of muffins for 3 days but no biggy. All in all a nice stay.

Ww were disappointed that we were not told beforehand that there was renovations going on. The room we were in had a king size bed, which we requested, but it was too large for the room. We had to squeeze between the AC unit to get into bed. They were doing a good job, everyone was very nice.

For a great sleep and clean room. Tv is good and decent room size. The breakfast is convenient and opens early. A good choice.

The hotel is rundown. The rear exit door does not lock, many of the windows have paint on them, the carpets are threadbare. The rooms are very basic, the bed was ok. The breakfast included was ok, but they ran out of eggs the first day of my stay until the front desk clerk came and microwaved some more. I picked this hotel since it was a few dollars cheaper than others nearby - now I know why. I will not be back.

Nobody smiles. The picture of the building displays a shiny new Brockville Inn &Suites sign. But in reality it was a tired old Econolodge sign. Not sure what that was all about but it made it hard to find the building. ☹️ The hallway and room need some TLC. But for a night sleep and an in-house breakfast in the morning it was ok for the price.

The door on the room did not lock. No key card was used. Just push door handle down and push on the door and the door would open. I will repeat, it did appear the door was locked and I pulled the door closed very firmly when leaving the room and you would think the door was firmly latched. Well, I just pushed the handle down and pushed on the door and it opened. I would say we were very lucky no one tried to enter the room at any time we were in the room or away with our possessions left in the room. AND, YES, I would think the hotel will remove this comment as it is not a positive comment. I just count ourselves lucky that no one tried to enter the room when we were there or away from the room.

The clerk at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. He mentioned that renovations were soon going to be done. The new owner/manager also asked for our feedback in order to guide their renovation needs. On the negative side: The back entrance to our room was totally unsecured. Anyone from outside either an actual guest or possibly a homeless person, or other intruder, could enter the hotel simply by pushing the handicap buttons. The doors were not locked. The furniture was very worn, scratched, cracked, etc. All should be replaced. The sink was also cracked. The floor in our room was worn and missing the top layer in one area. The hall carpeting was soiled and didn’t look like it had even been vacuumed. The room phone was not working, so we could not call out or even reach the front desk. The walls need fresh paint. The seal was broken in the window in our room and the casing was taped. On the positive side: The bed was clean and comfortable. The curtains were fine. The breakfast menu was ok, but there was no staff person to help with directions, but there were too many tables too close together, so it was difficult to squeeze between them with food in our hands. Generally, we were quite disappointed with the conditions of the building, but appreciated the staff.

The first room I was given the door would not lock. It was on the ground floor right next to an exterior door that would not fully close (let alone lock for security reasons at night)The second room I was given only had a shower and the toilet was not secured to the floor

Run down and back door not locked, anyone can get into hotel. Kinda dirty. Payment on credit card came back as "Hot Vape". When asked about it at check out they laughed, saying its an issue for over six months. As well said it wasnt even a travelodge property anymore but Brockville Inn and Suites. Staff at check in were great and breakfast was adequate.

the chairs in the room are so damaged because they are there since a long time .the smell cigarette and old smell of carpet and to do a check in take 45 mins because they said its a new system and they ask me for the payment i show the prove i pay expedia so i dont have to pay again after talking talking they realise i pay so for me stay away from this place

The only lights in the room were 1 pot light over each bed. There was 1 in the entrance and bathroom but no lamps.

When booking I asked for ground level as my husband has mobility issues and we were on second floor and had to climb 3 flights of stairs.

Room was clean. Pet friendly, good breakfast included.

All rooms are for Smokers only. No elevator.

Very clean and very modern... Place had a nice vibe.

Friendly staff. The room itself was meah. The bathroom fan sounded like an old airplane taking off. Would have benefited with separate switch for fan and light. Bathroom door was squeaky when closing it. The bathroom sink was missing the stopper and the faucet was small and very stiff when trying to use it. Not sure the bed was a queen as advertised. Seemed more like a double. Breakfast was not bad as it it had all the basics.

The facility is very dated. It appears they were attempting to mask an odour in the room with an over powering scent. The hallway carpets were old dirty and left a lot to be desired. The mattress was not comfortable.

For the price point a reasonable stopover
