I was on a training trip and brought along a legally blind friend. We really needed the King Suite with two bedrooms, but it was taken. We were offered the twin bed they can roll-in, but the couch also has a hide-a-bed we could use. ***The fact that this was not a romantic getaway is important. Especially from a woman’s point of view when I review the bathroom situation.
My blind friend was left by himself Friday and Saturday. He can see, but has to be close to his phone to make things out. He needs to be close to the TV, too. The TV’s in the suites are the same size as they are for other rooms - only 46”. I get back from training and he has this chair on rollers wheeled up to the TV and his head jacked back and up trying to see the screen.
The TV is strategically placed between the couch and the bed on a swinging arm so someone can watch TV at an angle from either the couch or the bed, but from nowhere comfortably and nowhere up close.
The fireplace is in the corner with NO CHAIRS to sit by the fire and enjoy it.
There’s not cute little table, a functional desk or a cozy chair.
The bathroom situation…the bathroom was definitely set up by a man. There’s no trash can by the toilet. It’s in the other room under the sink. Moving the ONE trash can screams it was needed for feminine products by the toilet. There’s lots of wasted space in with the toilet and shower- no countertop for toiletries used after getting out of the shower & before dressing.

This was an excellent accommodation for our entire week. Only one problem, but it isn't the fault of the hotel. Problem: our room on the 3rd floor faced the busy hwy, and the traffic noise kept me awake before 6 a.m. I bought earplugs and it was much better.

This was one of the nicest Hampton Inns we’ve stayed in. The staff were all helpful and very friendly - including to our 10 year old golden retriever. It was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, but not overstated. The grounds were well maintained and all of the dog stations were stocked with bags (that’s a rare occurrence!) and included wastebaskets that appeared to be routinely emptied.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a tub/shower with good water pressure and easily adjustable temperature.
The breakfast was awesome. Lots of delicious options and it was kept clean and well stocked.
We would give this hotel our highest recommendation!

The artwork is unique. We absolutely loved the little park in the back with the creek running and ducks swimming. We loved the stone benches, swinging benches, and the bear out front with the fish in it’s mouth. The paintings and artwork on the walls were tasteful, and there were intimate settings with comfortable chairs, plants, and coffee tables in little hidden corners.

Not okay to have your pets in the breakfast area nor is it ok to be barefoot in breakfast area.
Also they ran out of everything and took way too long to bring out food. If you know you are at full capacity maybe have enough food and condiments and beverages.
