Friendly staff, but alarm clock was on the whole night in one of the adjacent rooms, keeping us awake.

The desk leg is bent, the area below the sink is missing, and the top of the room separator has not been dusted. I was given a room that should have been off market. I used to work at the front desk for Days Inn years ago and know the process.

Was traveling with 3 kids (2 of them are adults) and a small dog. Hotel room was very nice and spacious. I only wished it had a microwave.

I asked for a lower level floor and they put us on the 6th floor, and it wasn’t the deluxe King suite that we reserved. I called them and had them switch us to the 1st floor & it was confirmed but when we arrived, I was told that the room wasn’t available??!! The next morning I called the front desk and a different person moved us to a 3rd floor deluxe King suite. She was awesome. Very nice and accommodating. That’s why I gave 4 stars. Also note that the bathroom/shower area is very small at this hotel but the free breakfast is pretty good.

It was a quick overnight trip and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was warm and welcoming. It’s located near a Macy’s, Wal-Mart and Target. There are also a number of restaurants nearby.

I checked in Thursday October 17th my aunts funeral Friday. Friday morning I woke up went down to lobby with my back pack to read since it was early didn’t want to wake my wife and son up. The front desk clerk turn tv off as requested but then ask me did I belong in the hotel and was I a guest. The cook that morning also was looking at me like I was someone off the streets. I had shorts and sweatshirt on I felt racial profile because they didn’t ask any other guest these questions who was down there. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Roanoke VA but never again

Pet friendly- however, one client called the front desk on my dog barking at them as they arrived. Maybe pet rooms should be separate from others who don’t have their pets with them. Love the hotel and staff; great place to stay with my little 4-legged friend. Thanks !!

Room was very nice, lots of room. Bathroom was very accessible for me and my wheelchair! Kitchenette was wonderfully convenient and the bed was very comfy with great pillows! On the con side, self parking is very limited to street parking or you are required to pay for parking, which is valet atleast! My 1st set of room keys didn't work, requiring me to go down and get them rekeyed. Then, checkout.... took forever, apparently due to a new system that the gentleman couldn't figure out for sometime, just to print a receipt.
Overall the stay was pleasant and the room, fabulous!

My room was very nice and clean. The concern was the TV did not play very many channels. The reception was not good for the cable. Spoke to front desk and no change. No storms to impact cable, suggest they review and update for next guest. There was no microwave in the room to heat up my food I had to go out to get. You adverise food is available, but the equipment to cook was not working.

We did not like this property. There were dogs barking everywhere and it was extremely loud. Hard to sleep. The hotel itself was pretty clean. We didn't go to the breakfast.

I liked the space of the room. However, I felt the management of the hotel has abandoned it and it doesn’t feel well taken care of: dirty, the property does not smell clean, the staff (from desk) seems dead (ghost town). I had higher expectations from a Hyatt hotel. I would give this hotel a 2.5-3 stars because of the feeling it caused in me when I entered both the hotel and my room: does not smell clean, seems ill managed.

When we got to the room we noticed blood drips on both beds. It looks like the washed the top ones and put them back on the bed without giving a second thought to it. The fitted sheet looked like they recycled it without washing. There were crumbs on it. The room looked nice but just not very clean. The area is good for shopping and eating lots of stores.
