The guestroom was clean and well supplied, but there was no place to hang clothes. I was also very confused at check out when my room charge was applied to a credit card that I do not have.

It was a delightful stay! The room was clean with snow white sheets and towels, comfortable bed, and an abundance of fluffy pillows. We had a creekside room and it was so private and peaceful. Wonderful to enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chairs there with the sound of rushing waters and the feeling of being in the woods. We did not use the indoor pool but it looked clean. I missed breakfast but my husband said they had a decent selection. In room coffee was good, which is a rare occurence for me. We had planned on doing a lot but we ended up staying at the room most of the time because of the atmosphere. It is an older property, so if things like a few paint chips, older tub and toilet, and a broken but operable balcony door latch bother you, go elsewhere. But if you want a relaxing stay at a great price, by all means stay here. I know we plan on coming back!

First, not sure why they had to swipe my c/c for incidentals, when went to checked out, I told the clerk(which was different) I want to close the card transaction and was pretty mush called a lair saying my card was not swiped at check in. Beds are TO TALL, 30" from the floor and way to hard, the thermostat for a/c looks like something a 3 year old made, not even sure how fire marsh approves, and window was chest high so no view either. WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN

Stayed here for 5 nights while on a motorcycle trip. Staff was friendly, the balcony was great with a couple of rocking chairs. The hotel is cleanish~ fresh paint in a lot of areas but the walls and floors in the room weren’t the best like they don’t truly clean. But the beds are super comfy and AC was cold. Breakfast wasn’t good at all, no butter, no coffee (which I don’t get at all) and not much to pick from. I stayed 5 nights and never once had my room cleaned or bedding changed. Did get new towels once, Parking so super easy. Very very motorcycle friendly.
But all in all, I will most likely stay at a different hotel next time I visit Maggie valley.

Older hotel. Outside needs maintenance and yard work. Motorcycles parked under cover where residents need to walk. They need to be parked in spaces. Management was friendly and responsive. Hotel clean but maintenance needs to be done

The room was large and the bed is extremely comfortable. I suffer from back problems and I got up the next morning with no pain.

Quiet, good water pressure in shower. Nice view of the creek from our balcony.

Check in was easy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The door to the balcony overlooking the creek had a makeshift handle that was just hanging by one screw, it was unsafe and difficult to open. The balcony needed pressure washed the table was very dirty. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was lacking in quality . The milk for cereal tasted spoiled, instead of napkins bathroom brown folded hand towels ect. With a little work and attention this place would be good. I hope they attend to the little things that add up to a lot in the big picture cause this could still be a great place not just fair. I may stay again if they step up their game a little. Landscaping tells a lot about a place. If weeding is unattended…..,,

1 night stay. Clean lobby, good breakfast, room was clean except for bathroom floor and tub caulk needs a really good cleaning. The creek was nice but no way to get to the creek. It would have been nice to be able to walk to it safely. The bed was very comfortable and hotel staff were very friendly. Hot tub had no water and pool is indoor/heated.

One of our favorite places to stay however, this last visit a few months ago we were A little upset at how bad the grounds looked. They grounds around the river were unkept and overgrown..... Couldn't really see the river which is the prettiest part. We'll be back though but upset the owners aren't taking care of it properly.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hot tub was closed but the pool was open and fun for the kids. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, toast, scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Juice, milk, coffee, yogurt. Would stay again. Stream in back is awesome. I recommend stream view vs Mountain View as it also includes the road. Thank you to the front desk staff for your kindness during this trip.

Close to Smoky Mountains. Quaint little town. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We had a view of the creek which was amazing from our balcony. We will definitely be coming back.

I only stayed there because of the indoor pool..and when I checked in the pool was closed for maintenance. I was very disappointed at that time. The front desk guy didn't offer any other accommodations for me and my husband.. the room was nice and cozy. The bathroom was updated but only partially..

Disappointed pool was not open. States pump broke. Appears they were working on it the next morning. Pool guy was with owner at pool house. Just bad luck.

The manager was very helpful in getting us into 2 rooms on short notice! The breakfast was good( more choices than most) If I had a complaint it would be that there was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage.

There were a lot of motor cycle riders and a truck carrying two bikes blocking the entrance. Maybe the owner could have navigated the bike riders to allow others access to the property without a lot of hassle.

Ok for one, the hot tub is not working. It had trash in it. The pool very cold. The ice machine is still not working. The sliding door to balcony would not slide easy. I used a black light to check the cleanliness of the bed sheeys. On both beds there was splaters of blood. Just do yourself a favor dont stay here.

All good service, check-in & check-out was easy. Really disappointed to choose this hotel for the indoor pool (assuming it was still heated, as it was when stayed here before) and find that it was very cold. The manger said management had just changed and it should be fixed/heated by next year.

HORRIBLE!! Don’t stay here…the lot was nasty, the rooms were gross, a lamp threw sparks trying to turn it on, and the pool was the worst of all of it. This was meant to be a brief getaway for my child to play in the pool. The pool was literally as cold as the water the Titanic was in the night it hit the iceberg!! No heat at all and practically had hypothermia when you got out of it. The hot tub has been closed since Covid started and you could cure a terminal disease with the fungus growing all over it. The “security “ in the pool was two old glass doors held shut with a PENCIL!!! Please don’t go here!! We were absolutely miserable!
