We planned to visit Würzburg as it figures prominently in our family’s ancestry. We looked for available rooms in the city and were shocked at the prices: it’s a beautiful place, but it’s not Munich or Berlin. After scrolling for a bit, I found this one. The price was good and the location was fine. I had no qualms about driving into town to park, anyway. We crossed our fingers it’d be fine. When we checked in, we asked about laundry. We’d already been travelling for a week and had a other ahead. Though we weren’t allowed to use their machines, we were offered the chance to drop our laundry down in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. This was a great gift, since we were planning on touring the city. We left it at the front desk and picked it up in the late afternoon: it had been all even been folded! It cost us €30 but the benefit was better than losing a day of our trip at the laundromat. Breakfast the following morning was superb. The offerings on the buffet table were great. The hotel is renovating, so the rooms, while nice, sort of pale in comparison to the dining area. It’s really nice! There’s a coffee/tea nook, snacks and a generally pleasant space to be in. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was a great location. Tram stop across the street, along with a grocery store, McDonald's, getrinke mart. They have a coffee machine in the lobby that is free, a cooler with free ice cream, a beer machine for 3 euro, snacks, drinks etc. Breakfast was good, and the room was nice.

Our stay was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. We parked outside for free, everything was great!!

Good value, easy parking and tram across the road giving quick access to Wuerzburg centre. Convenient stop-over en route from Channel ports to Bavaria/Austria

They had free ice cream in the lobby, and the tram station was very close. Not good parking conditions.

The floor of the shower was too smooth and becomes very slippery when soap is on it. Suggest either anti-slip floor and/or grab handles. As things stand you mighgt get sued.

Convenient for three kinds of public transport. A nice, clean, comfortable hotel.

Hotel is a little bit out of the main town area but there is a tram and driving is about 10mins or so. There are a few food options nearby about 5mins walk so all in all, a good location to visit Würzburg.

A little out of the way, but easy enough to get around. The street has a tram running down the middle, so we got to know the u-turn places. A beautiful view, and comfortable enough.

The rooms are comfortable, nice stuff. The entrance and lobby could have got a make-over. A little shaby.

This is a nice and clean hotel. We had a very good breakfast there. It was easy to get to the city centre by tram.

It is a standard German hotel - clean and organized. The parking is very close to the hotel and the staffs are very friendly. Wuerzburg itself is a very charming city - so you feel good about almost everything. The drawback is the lack of fridge in the room and you will have to pay for water and coffee in the lobby. The neighbor is a gas station. The staff (originally from Egypt) is super friendly. You can buy ice there if you have children and they really want to have cold drinks...

The room was spotless, the furnishings dated but well maintained. Breakfast was well presented and service excellent.

The front desk was helpful. The breakfast was very complete. The location was near the public transportation which took us right into the downtown historic district.

This hotel was not in a very nice location of Wuerzburg, not in the historic district at all.

I was in a double room. Considering a cost-benefit relationship, the hotel was pretty ok. The bed was comfortable and clean. The tv set was extremely small and far away from bed (14" tv hanging on the roof). The bathroom was clean, but way too small. I wasn't so happy that they charged me separate for an open parking place. During the check-in, the receptionist wasn't so kind, but during the check-out the receptionist was really helpful and kind.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Tram stop very convenient to Old Town and sites. Parking spots out front were few, but fee garage spots directly behind hotel. The hotel emailed me ahead of time to answer my preferences on the children's bedding and to offer dinner reservation for our arrival night. Very proactive.
