The room while compact was nice and had a small table and chair. While we appreciate eco-friendliness, the toilet paper was really rough and nowhere to hang the hand towels. Best part was the varied breakfast spread and complimentary tea and coffee from a proper machine which is much better than an individual machine in your room.

Located off the main strip. Paid public parking outside the hotel. Reception was helpful, explaining the parking situation and suggesting local restaurant options. The weekend breakfast spread was outstanding. Room was a little dated, but we had a comfortable night.

Silent surroundings, very small room and lack of storgage. No lounge area to sit and hang out in sofas and armchairs, wishing for more cozy hangout especially when the weather has been rough to be out in, and that it would devided from ordinary restaurant.

Really nice hotel with the balcony. Good breakfast and easy to get there. Lot of activities you can book from Svolvær.

The hotel was well located. It had some amenities eg bathrobes. But no tea & coffee making or shower caps. However, plenty of beverages available from the dining room free of charge so that made up for it. The room had a little balcony which was nice to sit on in the sunny weather.

Overall, this is a nice property. We were on the second floor with a balcony, which was small, and there is not an elevator (FYI). The breakfast was okay, but there were a lot of options. We really just needed a home base and it worked well for that.

I had a great two night stay here. The staff was so incredibly nice and the room was awesome. I’d definitely suggest going for a room with a private balcony as it was so lovely to just sit outside and read by the water at the end of the day.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the water, which was very nice. There were also good blackout curtains, which helps sleeping with the midnight sun.

Our flight was delayed so we did not check in until midnight. We were met by very courteous receptionist and our very late night check in went smoothly. The room was rather small but clean. The black out curtains worked excellently as we were there in June with 24 hour daylight. The included breakfast was excellent.

A great location. I had a room with terrace facing the harbor. Very centrally located. Spotlessly clean. Heated bathroom floor was a real plus. Excellent breakfast buffet. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff.
My neighboring room housed a cigarette smoker. My room was smokey when he was often on his terrace smoking. I reported it to management twice, but he continued to smoke the entire week I was there.

The location of this hotel was great. It overlooked the sea which is nice when having breakfast and its conveniently located in Svolvaer close to other shops and establishments. The condition of the room was clean and very comfortable.

The rooms simply are too small if you want to open two suitcases. View was nice with balcony facing over the water. Breakfast was overcrowded and lack of refilling, bakery was overbaked. But convenient fo stopover on transport to the south. Parking is available for NOK 200/day add that to room price and the total package is no longer competitive.

We had a fab stay - the staff in particular Myja and Francis were very helpful and accomodating - problems with delayed luggage which they helped solve.

It was absolutely great. I never seen such gorgeous views from outside my room and the breakfast was increasingly with more unbelievable views. Walking distance to everything in the city. Friendly service. The price was also very reasonable. This is our favourite hotel for Lofoten

All staff were very warm and accommodating. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable, which was perfect as I spent most of my time outside. Breakfast is fantastic and lobby/ lounge is spacious and many separate areas to work, meet friends…whatever.

My favourite hotel in Norway, i would go out of my way to stay here. This time i had a water view, in the past i have had a view over the water to the town, this is my favourite view.

A beautiful hotel on its own island, friendly staff, and an absolutely incredible breakfast buffet. Seriously, the breakfast was one of the highlights of the trip.

This hotel is OK for a short stay on the way to or from a drive in Lofoten. Breakfast is OK but the dinner buffet is so-so.

Room was so very tiny. Bed OK. Shower just a stall but hot water good. Breakfast is typical Norwegian buffet style but not as extensive as in cities - understandable due to remoteness. Supper is another buffet but not too exciting.

Beautiful view! Lovely to have a private balcony with chairs to sit and enjoy the midnight sun.
