Clean room and comfortable beds and pillows Nice and friendly service

We have stayed here numerous times over the last decade. Our last stay prior to this was about 2 years ago and it was lovely. This time we were disappointed to see that the property has not been maintained as one would expect. From the outside it looks nice, but once inside you can see lots of signs of deterioration and uncleanliness. A chunk was missing from the bathroom door, our toilet was literally sinking into the filthy slate flooring. The toilet would not flush properly (we ended up needing to call for a plunger) after which it still needed to be flushed multiple times to get anything to go down. The drains drained poorly in the tub and sink, there was rust over every bathroom surface (some painted over, others not). Stains on the carpet, dust caked onto the air conditioner unit, stains on the wall, drawers that would not close all of the way blocking your walking path to the bathroom in the middle of the night and causing you to fall. We never had enough towels, even though we’d marked that 4 people would be staying in the room. I could go on, but you get the idea. I only wish that I’d thought to take pictures because then you would see these are no exaggerations. The two employees I did encounter were nice. We travel frequently and almost always choose a Holiday Inn or similar tier hotels due to a decent price point and typically nice and clean rooms. I’m not sure what’s happening here, but I don’t think we will be staying at this location again - sad.

I would stay again

Seems a little dated but was clean and nice. Room was nice. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good.

We stayed 2 days. The first morning I made coffee just for me. The second morning I went to make coffee for myself and my husband and theire was no replacement cup from the previous morning. I do not understand why such a simple thing of checking the coffee cups and replacing them is such a hard thing. Other hotels do this too. Water cups too! Especially nowdays, why aren't there glasses available? Used to be all glass and replaced daily.

Front desk staff were so friendly and kind throughout the stay. Pool and hot tub were nice. Location was fantastic, close to both Birch Run shopping and Frankenmuth. Rooms were a little older with some wear and tear showing but were clean. I would stay here again.

Check in was wonderful. They were able to let us in a little early, as we had to get ready for a wedding nearby. My only complaint, and it is one I have made at other properties, relates to the bedding. I do not need a down comforter. I cannot sleep when the bedding is much too warm, despite the fact that the room was very cool.

WIFI didn't work in my room the whole weekend. Probably should have called the front desk, so probably partly my fault. Toilet fill valve would not shut off, so water continuously overflowed making noise. Not too concerned because it did not bother us. The hotel probably lost money because the water ran continuously. Breakfast was really good. Really hot on the 2nd floor right outside the elevator. probably due to the refrigeration units for pop and ice machine. The dining options were good but not staffed very well. Very hard to get waited on so we left 3 different establishments before we found one that would actually serve us. Having the outlet stores close by was a bonus. We were instructed to park out back. That door worked with our keycard. No one was parked by the north door where the elevator was located but our keycard would not open that door so we just parked out back after that. Wasn't sure if this was on purpose or not. Did not ask anyone. Was more convenient for us to use the north door when no one was parked on that side. We were lazy and didn't feel like walking those extra steps. Not an issue.

This was a quick getaway before my hip replacement surgery And needed some quite time and this was perfect

The only good thing about this location was the staff, they were all friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel however definitely needs some updating, maintenance, and a very deep cleaning. Its was filthy Our room was the cleanest part with stains on the carpet and what looked to be pet hair on the lounger. Then in the bathroom there must have been a leak in/around the fan above a toilet and looked like they quickly and barely did a patch job with holes and starting the show mold. The hallways, stairways, carpets were all so gross. If we hadnt gone through travelocity and I would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere.

Standard fair for such a property. A big negative was lack of AC in the main area and breakfast area.

Checked in early. Front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Explained everything to satisfaction. Room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Bathroom was clean. The Dove products were a wonderful change from standard hotel fare. Breakfast was great. Good options including healthy choices. Close to the Premium Outlets and many dining options. Will definitely return.

Staff was excellent

The breakfast and the outside property is great! When it came to the conditions of the room it was about as good as a 1 star motel. The beds were comfy but the washroom and the ac were all garbage.

The office staff at check in, were the kindest women I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. They were very happy & seemed like they enjoyed their job, and were happy to welcome you to stay. They also explained things to do in the area and told us every detail about the pool & breakfast. Was a very smooth check in as well.

Nice friendly clean hotel. Lovely area very close to the outlets and frankenmuth. Our room was comfortable. Would stay there again for sure!

Quick and easy ride into Frankenmuth from this spot. A pleasant stay. Facility appears newer but a little worn from many travelers. Staff was lovely.

Friendly staff clean rooms just all around nice hotel

There was a $10 incidental fee that was charged to my card before i even arrived. Never had that happen before. Was nice that it was $10 and not $50 just odd to charge before arrival. I attempted to get an early check in and was told no. My room wasnt ready, as if there were zero rooms ready? Ive never had an issue checking in early at any other hotel ive stayed at. Upon check in even though i filled it all in online i still had to fill out a paper with all my information. Time consuming and inconvenient. Over all the hotel was ok. Convenient location. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The halls and elevators were a little dirty and breakfast was minimal but ok. Id probably stay again. Over all probably a 6.5/10.

Good overall experience. Jacuzzi tub in the room we got was in ruff shape. Plaster all around tub. Caulk was in ruff shape.

Nice front desk lady

We had a good stay. Our room was clean and adequate for our needs. The lobby was nice and clean. We did not eat breakfast so I cannot comment on it, but it looked quite substantial - eggs, biscuit and gravy, pancakes, etc. the common areas such as the hallways were grimy and overall seemed dirty. The staff was very nice and attentive. We would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh. Hotel was a bit run down and in need of some updating. But it wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t stay there again. Nice property location near highway.

Great Breakfast, I was surprised by the effort that was made to provide a great experience in this area…maybe the best I’ve seen in this type of lodging. The room on the other hand was not. It was very dated ( to be nice about it ) the bed was clean & comfortable though and the staff couldn’t have been nicer.

The Hotel was full of Working People which is a good thing.
