Very smelly and dirty, bathroom lock broken, shower light not working, got bitten by bed bugs all over my body

We were going to North Carolina. I was happy with the stay. Bed was comfy, room was a nice size and everything was clean. Refrigerator cooled our drinks very quickly. Only problem was the breakfast did not have very much to offer. The app said “hot breakfast”. The only thing hot was waffles. We had hoped for eggs and sausage.

Booked room for my wife and when she checked in the key card wouldn’t work. Tried again and wouldn’t work. Manager went to room opened the door but the handle would not lock. After several minutes of trying to get a different room he finally gave my wife a new room. That room was ok but the bathroom floor was wet and dirty. He would not note that the 1st room was defective and wanted to cancel the reservation and it would have appeared that she did not show up and we would have been out a nights stay because I had booked thru a third party. Avoid this hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two days, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I noticed that the shower was dirty with hair stuck on the shower walls. This was quite off-putting and made me question the overall cleanliness of the room. Additionally, the carpet was visibly dirty, adding to my discomfort. The light fixture in the room was also popping out of the ceiling, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. On a positive note, the free breakfast was decent. They had a waffle bar and microwaveable sandwiches, which were satisfactory. However, the bananas provided were old, which was a bit disappointing. One of the highlights of this hotel is its location. It is conveniently situated near a Walmart, Sam's Club, and several restaurants, making it easy to access necessities and dining options. Overall, while the location and some aspects of the breakfast were positive, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly detracted from my stay. I hope the management addresses these concerns to improve the experience for future guests.

On my third night i dropped something between the night stand and bed, upon retrieval i discovered a soda can with partial contents ( cleaning was not thoroughly done) the drink was not mine. There was a rip in the sheet and comforter was stained, leading to concern about cleanliness. The property location was good , plenty of food options and Wal-Mart in walking distance. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room which was helpful. Breakfast was offered if one wanted to partake. Overall, i felt safe as a female traveling single.

Very basic but clean and efficient. Good for a quick night sleep.

Not so good, elevator and common area very dirty. Room seemed clean enough but bathroom shower and toilet needed to be cleaned.

Front Desk Representative was very accommodating and polite.

I did not like having No internet all the time. Did not have it 24/7. Coffee pot in room did not work!

The cleanliness and comfort is below standard

We were terribly disappointed with the room, it was very unkept. The walls were dingy and there was dust everywhere. Lastly, we sweated all night because even though there is a thermostat in the room, they control the temperature. We have stayed at this property some time ago, this experience was totally different, possibly new management. We will not be returning nor will we suggest this property to anyone else.

The room had a mildew smell, a stranger we sleeping in his truck on the property in the back. People outside smoking stuff other than cigarettes. I did not stay at the hotel, went somewhere else

The property was very nice, rooms were clean, but not every outlet was working. A/C could have been a little cooler & the pillows were super flat. Fitness room was out of order, but everything else was good. Staff was friendly. I stayed an additional week, and they matched the Expedia price.

What i like about the is that it was clean customer service was great. Breakfast was good but not a lot of options unless you order foods frm uber eats or you can walk to cracker barrel. What i didn't like was that i reserve a none smoking room, it smell like someone had a smoking party in the room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will stay again very nice restaurants near the property i mean in walking distance from the hotel.

This place has 3 floors with all the vending machines on the third floor and none of them work

The purpose of a hotel is to sleep. For that purpose I could hear normal conversations in the next room. Therefore, it did not meet my needs. Oyher than that it was ok for the price.

Should have better breakfast options especially since you have truck drivers and business clients.

The staff was not on the same page. I requested a late check out the housekeeper rushed me to leave because she wasn’t informed of my late check out. My items were left in the room. I informed the front desk representative and he accused me of lying. Just rude.

First off this hotel is really disgusting I’m surprised it isn’t shut down. My room was smoked out i had to go buy candles to get rid of smell but that was the least of my concerns. Front desk man was really nice until i told him my toilet had a smell after it flushed he didn’t want to move me he came in the room and literally put his face inside the toilet to smell after flushing told me he couldn’t smell anything but the candles i had lit definitely took over somewhat of the smells in the room. My sheets had stains on them the fitted, flat and comforter! I had to go ask for new sheets and i didn’t even get a comforter he gave me a bed mattress pad!! I didn’t sleep at all my stay was very unpleasant this isn’t one of those second chance hotels I’ll never stay here again. It isn’t worth the money if you’re looking for a clean hotel.

No pool and bugs employees are rude….I will never go back there.
