No customer service provided at this hotel. Staff was unwilling to help with simple requests. No return phone calls as promised. We are seasoned travelers, this has been the worse experience to date and all this before we even checked in. Just getting a person on the phone was very difficult and frustrating.

Loved the staff and the cleanliness. When I was checking out the staff member said that a set keys were found in the room and then anotff bf er staff said no. We got all the way across the island and realized that we didn’t have the other set of keys and had to return and spent our last day on the island in traffic instead of at the beach :( . Wish that there was less confusion about finding and locating the keys. And we were silly to leave them behind

Great spot. Enjoyed the refreshed hotel with my wife and twin 12 year olds. The pool was excellent to come back to after being a tourist all day. Would absolutely stay again.

We came here for our mini moon the week after we got married and our stay was generally OK. We put in our reservation notes and told the front desk upon arrival that it was a special celebration but didn’t really get acknowledged at all. Which, for how nice of a hotel and how costly, we would have hoped they would have put a little note in our room at the very least. Housekeeping “gets to your room by 5pm” which wasn’t ideal, as our first full day my husband had to ask them twice between 3:30-4:30 if they could have ours taken care of so we could get ready for dinner on time. Also, multiple times housekeeping left dirty glasses in our room vs swapping them out. Really lovely and well decorated hotel. Was convenient to shops, restaurants, beaches etc. overall fine stay.

Between the interior design, pool, inviting signature scent and dining options within the hotel and just outside of it, this hotel stay was a dream!

We stayed at the Faraway for a long weekend and absolutely loved our stay. The room was spacious and beautiful. The on site pool and snack bar were the perfect place to relax and grab a mid day bite. We hope to be back sooner than later!

Amazing!!! This hotel is beautiful. It is within walking distance of some great places to eat and cute retail shops. The beach is a quick uber ride as well as the next town over that also has a great downtown area. Everything about my stay as perfect.

Beautifully decorated, quaint property in the heart of Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. Loved the pool, with great service and delicious drinks. Proximity to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The front desk made some great food recommendations.

This hotel is very nice and centrally located. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and coffee from the cafe next door. We ate at both restaurants and enjoyed shopping and using the hotel bikes. The hotel felt very humid and our clothes/bathing suits never really dried even after a few days hanging up. A tea kettle in the rooms would be a nice addition.

Beautiful hotel and grounds and friendly staff with large clean rooms. First floor rooms visible from outside so limits ability to let in natural light. Lovely pool with huge hot tub and comfortable chaise lounges for spending the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Second time at the faraway - it was lovely. Pool is gorgeous, staff is nice and accommodating. The property is a short walk from the ferry and all restaurants/shopping in Edgartown. The pelican club was fun for drinks. Our only area of feedback is that lunch should be served around the pool every day. Food was only served on Monday starting at 4 And staff seemed confused about the time. This could be staffing related- definitely not a deal breaker.

I paid $1200 for one night for one of their lowest grade rooms on the first floor in main building in January for a June 30 stay for a wedding. I wanted to make sure I got a room. When I checked prices online just a week ago, the price for the same room was $500! I asked Hotels.com to honor a lower price. They said they could not and had to talk to the hotel. The hotel would not honor it. I arrived early and they let me check in early the day of the 3:30 wedding so I could change after I complained. The room was FREEZING on an overcast rainy day. I could not adjust the split unit in the room so maintenance came and said these units could not be adjusted other the fan. Room was set at 64 degrees! So he came back w/ a space heater and I turned off the air conditioning. Hallway on first floor near my room and had terrible stains on the carpet . I suspected urine stains from dogs since there were a number of dogs in the hotel - two on my floor. All 4 pillows on the bed were hard and thick - like a punching bag! I returned from the wedding late and did not bother the front desk because I assumed they did not have anything else. I had a terrible night's sleep w/o a pillow and should have called. The next morning I wanted breakfast but the hotel offers NO AM FOOD - just a coffee bar up the street in a clothing store. You can get a free complimentary plain coffee (not a latte or cappucino or flavored) but no breakfast. $1200 and a complimentary coffee! never stay there again. I left

Obsessed! Gorgeous and perfect! So sad to leave! They provide bikes included in the nightly charge. They also have an amazing workout room, pool, hot tub, great staff, dining and even wine open to have at reception!

Staff was incredible and so helpful. We had an awful travel day and they upgraded us when we got there. They made our trip .

This hotel feels like a resort from the moment you walk in. Top notch customer service, and beautiful amenities. The pool and hot tub area are beautiful. This is also in a convenient area of Edgartown, and you can walk everywhere. Highly recommend!!!

This was the perfect getaway! The property is stunning, in a stellar location, and the staff were amazing ... especially Jermaine! They took such good care of us. I'll definitely be coming back.
